Out church shopping in the Surfside Beach/Myrtle Beach area brought us to the Beach Church. Large arena size seating with lively ( but short) worship and senior Pastor Todd Elliot gave a very in-depth message/media presentation on creationism. Afterwards, Pastor Elliot was out front verbally greeting people. Hard to get a true sense of community with all the social distancing and such a large congregation. But indeed felt His presence and would consider another visit in time. (I wonder how the Google reviews would have gone on Jesus, if they were back in His time. )

Started going here after our old church closed due to coronavirus fears. Loving it and cant wait to see it back to full steam after the pandemic passes. My kids love Sunday evening youth groups.

Have attended Beach Church for yearsCan’t go as often as I would like because of work but I go every chance I get. Pastor Todd does a great job at explaining the word and keeps it interesting and always holds my attention. If you’ve never been to church it’s a very welcoming atmosphere and you will see many people who attend alone but are not really alonePlease give my church a try if you’re in the area I know you will enjoy!

Its a beautiful church good security that you would need in a 2020 that are very polite and not overbearing at all

Christian Church, non denominational. The sermons are wonderful--plain English about Christianity today. They also have a band that plays before the service and during part of the service. There is a coffee shop with seating and a store. The physical plant is huge with plenty of room for everyone. Friendly people too.

Parents night out for children with special needs is awesome! The staff are truly wonderful and know how to delicately handle our children with love and compassion! I have no hesitation in leaving my son there and he loves it!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I have never found a more welcoming and kid focused church. So positive and warm. Any Sunday we have off work, that’s where we will be!

This is my second time attending Beach Tree. I enjoyed the sermon and music both times. The congregation is very welcoming. This church provides an online app for days that you are unable to attend church in person.

This is a beautiful church and they offer wonderful Services weekly. They greet you like an old friend offering you a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. The music is fabulous and the church is definitely inviting for everyone.

I love beach church it is absolutely amazing I have nothing bad to say about it. They include everybody and dont leave anybody out.EDITED TO ADD: My daughter posted this. Clearly they are a good church.

Lots of activities though but today hit all time low One the greatest days in our history wasnt even mentioned because the Pastor was is in a series teaching. Makes me wonder if him like most Pastors in the United States hear from the holy Spirit or do they do they just program their sermon 6 months in advance!? Just talking out loud I guess but if you like praise and worship and solid milk its a good place.

We love going there. We are always made feel welcomed. It was nice to find here about 3 months after our move here. We tried allot of churches but this feels like the right fit for us. Love the factor that they always break things down on segments and it enlightens our way of treating every day scenarios.

Two services. We attended 11a. 930 is available. Well attended. Visitors are greeted many times. We were escorted upon meeting a greeter. Coffee shop had peppermint chocolate coffee. Flavored lattes. 2.50 for 16 oz.. nice sitting areas.bookstore w gifts cups.wall art. Service was series on prayer. Takeaway: have shameless audacity, persistence in prayer. Not prayer for but thru. Transforming u in the waiting. God may want to do more n the waiting than n the answer.

They are right, the people do make the church! But having the Holy Spirit and a praying church with a great band and fabulous small group weekday opportunities for Christian friends and fellowship helps too! Big enough for great programs but not so big that you cant get connected! Love Pastor Tod, Pastor Perry, Linda Stapleton, the elders and the bible study leaders!!

Large facility, nice people. Visited for the Danny Gokey service, first time visiting. I was very impressed, folks were very nice, I would go there again.

My family and I were in Myrtle for a volleyball tournament. We visited Beach Church and were absolutely blown away how welcoming everyone was. The sermon was applicable and Bible based. Great teaching, great people. Contemporary worship.

Fairly New Member and am Very Impressed with the Church and what it does both in and outside the Community. Presentations are Excellent!! The only thing I Would LOVE to see is the Good Old Traditional Hymns possibly Incorporated with the Current Music. Examples like The Gaithers. This Type of Musical Gathering is VERY Spritually Uplifting to both Young and Old. You Already have the Very Talented Singers and Musicians to do it. May God Bless You All!!

My family and I enjoyed our visit today and the message from Pastor Todd on marriage. The entire congregation was very inviting and pleasant to be around. Oh and the barista was a bonus!

This is a fantastic Church. The parking lot team, the greeters and the ushers all make you feel welcome and at home. They have an unbelievable praise and worship team and the pastor always has a fantastic message from Gods word, the Bible. Love this place. Attending Beach Church has totally changed my life.

First time visit and enjoyed the message and music. We liked the opportunity to have Communion that was setup on the sides of the main sanctuary. When we are in MYR on a Sunday, this will be our place to go. If we lived there, we would probably attend here and be involved.

I think overall these people are good people who love the Lord. I just felt like the whole service was rehearsed. I felt like I paid for a show and not a service.

I have had the pleasure of being part of this church for over 16 years now, its as fresh as it was all those years ago. I love how real they teach, its so nice to be able to actually relate to the story and how it applies today.I also love their commitment to people. Being willing to meet people in the uncomfortable places of their lives and walk with them. I have never felt judged at church but I have felt loved.This is the first church I have seen that addresses people with different needs in a special needs ministry. Serving the families and their family member and help navigate that area. I have also had the pleasure of being a part of that ministry for 6 years now and have loved every minute, I know I am a better parent today. . Also seeing their commitment to this area with other projects like the Joy Prom and Parents night out.As a parent the kids ministry is truly remarkable, seeing kids being taught the bible on their level so they can get it, is just brilliant, both my kids were raised there.I love being part of a church that does.

Wonderful caring dedicated church

I admire their kindness and caring for our lives! They have reached out to me, now I need the courage to reach them! They are located almost in my backyard, but with PTSD I ve locked myself in my home since moving here in 2011. It’s sad, but true. I have a loving family, thank goodness, but now need to get out of this web that I’ve created to protect me. Beach church has what I feel I need to release me from my fears.

Started coming to Beach because of our daughter and the wonderful kids program for our grandkids. We quickly got connected via the small groups and are staying because of the friendly, family atmosphere. Its a place of truth & grace. They love God and they love people. Its home!

Kids Camp saw over 35 kids give their lives to God! We are so grateful that this is church seeking lives to follow our Father! Other Vacation Bible Schools are also great but this one is awesome! For a family to come to watch a show put on by kids at the end of the week and then to be surprised to discover that its not just a show,but our kids are making an independent decision to follow Christ is a fabulous experience!
