Very cool spot! Amazing place to explore in Murfreesboro. Im not sure what the tarp is doing in the top of the dam.

This place is on the national list of historic places. I read about it an d it took some research to locate thought its right in the recreation area. Nice little place to walk and there seems to be some fishing here. If youre into looking for fossils there are some though not incredible easy to find they are on the large rocks and if you look hard on some of the smaller ones. Water looks clean for the most part, but not too incredibly sure Id eat the fish out of it.

Very nice place to have a picnic with family walk the beautiful nature trail and just enjoy the outdoors!!
