Fishing, hiking, biking, running, swimming and boating. This place has it all. The picnic areas are neat and clean. The grass fields are immaculate with solid green grass that is always cut. The park does a great job here. This is a hidden gem in Morris County that you should take advantage of especially over the summer months. Great Job Morris County Parks Commision. I will be back for sure.

Great hiking area on Patriots path. Take an immediate left for a gorgeous trail along the creek. Watch out for cyclists.

This is a very nice park with pleanty of hiking trails. Most are easy to moderate. They are well kept. I got there at 7 am and I was the second car there. When I got back around 12:30, the lot was full. There is extra parking on the other side. I hiked on the South side, so be careful crossing the road. It also seems to be a big mountain bike area. I saw more of them than hikers. Watch out, they can fly by you. I was there geocaching. There are a bunch of them in the park. Very peaceful once you get in a little.

How do you rate a parking lot? Well, thats exactly what I am doing. Its a small lot that is part of Lewis Morris Park. Its a convenient location that divides two sides of the park. They have a crosswalk light for you to be seen when crossing the street but driving out of the lot may be a little trickier as the left side can be a little tough to see around the curve/tree growth. I cant believe I really reviewed a parking lot....

Beautiful and very fun.. Great for hiking and family.Swimming was a challenge.. Biting flies on the beach.. Bad!! In the water, the fish are so unafraid of people that they come right up and nibble your legs.

Great Trails

Great walking trails - very shady. Was quiet the day we were there even though it was a beautiful summer Sunday afternoon.

Went there to fish. It was plenty accessible, but the fish were small. Very pretty, though.
