Great park to walk around. The park and trails are not connected as you would think so I would not suggest this for any hiking.. just nice walk in the day. The waterfall did not have any water falling... totally dry disappointment.

Beautiful overlooks onto the shoreline and across the bay to the southern Milwaukee coastline. The adjacent architecture is amazing and can keep your attention for hours. The grounds were well maintained on the upper trail and the lighthouse was pristine.

This is a lovely place to take a Sunday stroll. It has an aristocratic turn of the century feel with statues, lion bridges, and an old lighthouse you can walk around. There are also neat side trails down the ravines that are worth exploring. We like to pick mulberries from the biggest mulberry tree we have ever seen behind the lighthouse.

Beautiful area. Trails are clean and the walk is overlooking a ravine with the beach and Lake Michigan on the horizon. Theres also a beautiful and historical lighthouse nearby to visit. Perfect for a refreshing jog or to just enjoy the fresh air of the lake and amazing neighborhood.

Easy walking park near some beautiful houses of good old school architecture. If they replaced half the golf course with trees and a meandering brook and a bike trail and hiking trail itd be a fantastic 5 stars.

We love Lake Park for walks and a great place to sit and watch the lake. We often grab something to drink and eat from Downer Ave and find a open park bench to enjoy the views.

Safe, fun time at the beach, and people were respectful about your things. Parking is somewhat decent mostly street but if its not super busy you can find a spot. That is my biggest ding is the parking but it is understandable for geography.

Parks are a special place. Lake Park is just off the shore of Lake Michigan. A fairly big park, it actually has a 18 hole par 3 golf course. Beautiful scenery, and plenty of walkways throughout the park. Come and check it out. I think you will enjoy.

Since moving back to Milwaukee in 2016, and working nearby, Lake Park has become my go-to park for lunch walks, after work runs, getting out in nature. The County puts money into this park, and the Friends of Lake Park are also to thank for projects like the stone waterfall, new tree plantings, and more. The Monday night concert series in the summer has a nice variety of musical artists, and the Sprecher traveling beer garden usually stops in Lake Park for a few weeks.Tennis courts are kept up, theres a great playground for kids, and this is one of Milwaukees best parks! 5-star update.

Beautiful historic park just east and up the hill from Lake Michigan and Lincoln Memorial Drive. One thing I realized the last time I was there that it’s a great place to park for free if you plan on heading down to the lakefront, as long as you don’t mind taking the paved, gradual trail down through the woods.

The courts are alright but there are cracks all over. The nets have holes and it is difficult to tell at times if the ball clipped the cord and went over or through the net. Theyre are five courts but are sometimes reserved for club players and tennis lessons which can take up 4 of the 5 courts. The lights are on until 10. Beautiful park overlooking Lake Michigan.

Incredible park - its considered to be crown jewel of Milwaukees park system for a reason. One issue that needs to be addressed is the clear privileging of those activities typically enjoyed by the wealthy. In fact, if you look at the layout, the park is designed to move those from outside the immediate area (read inner city) to the periphery. That being said, if youre into golf, tennis, and lawn bowling, strolling, jogging, and grabbing a bite at one of the more overrated restaurants in town, its a great park. And dont even THINK about playing Pokemon Go here. All sarcasm aside, its a great park that should be enjoyed by everyone.

Really enjoyed the experience at the lighthouse. Lots of information not kust on the structure but also on the immigrants from Germany, England, and other places. A good site that only takes 1-2 hours to go through if looking at all of the displays and going up the lighthouse. Everyone did a great job on this. NOTE:. The stairs are tight and ladder on top. All but the lighthouse itself is wheelchair accessible, have someone go in first to ask the workers inside for access without using the stairs. They are very kind and helpful. Wonderful place.

Best park in the city, absolutely gorgeous running paths. My favorite run is starting at the entrance on Lincoln Memorial and Lake Drive, past the bocce ball players and infamous lawn bowlers, and winding down and around Lake Park Bistro - across the beautiful bridge that leads to the North Point Lighthouse, turning left at the end of the path and running past the gorgeous mansions and beautiful homes,
