Fantastic, incredibly well-curated museum. A must-visit location!

A small museum packed with a lot of culture and wonderful exhibits. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would love to return again soon!

This Milwaukee treasure should be on everyones list to visit and revisit for the awesome special exhibits.

Parking is located behind the building or on the street. Had a great time exploring when the Houdini exhibit was up!

Id forgotten Houdini was from Wisconsin. Or rather settled here for a time in his youth. Anyway, the special exhibit gives a nice overview of one of Wisconsins favorite sons and his life. No Houdini artifacts though and good reminder to this lapsed magic fan of his life and accomplishments. The Houdini themed escape room was fun.The rest was interesting too with a good overview of the Jewish immigrant experience in Milwaukee, the Jewish community and its contributions to industry and commerce in Milwaukee and America.

Small but very informative and well laid out museum. The exhibits focus on Milwaukee Jewish history. Docent Ellie was very knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend for Milwaukee history buffs.

Great museum, staff are friendly and helpful. Admission is cheap and parking is free. I’d recommend this place to others I can’t wait to return.

A wonderful museum reminding us of history which should never be forgotten.

The museum is not large, but you will fill up an afternoon if you take your time through it. Very informative and laid out well. Enjoyed my time there.

Wonderful organization - were proud to be members. The archivist, Jay, met with us to talk about family history research - very helpful!

Went to see Houdini the movie on Dec 25th. Had great time with people of numerous cultural backgrounds.

Ive had the opportunity to visit at least 4 times and each time I learn more than my previous visit. Its not a huge museum, but honestly it doesnt need to be--there is a ton of vital, dense information and history. I have brought my mom who was equally impressed. A few months ago, my manager, who lives in San Francisco, was in town. I suggested he visit and he LOVED it. Definitely recommend if you have the time. By the way, I have participated in their Civil Rights History Tour, it is by far the best tour Ive had in Milwaukee and Ive lived her my entire life.

Really well done museum of Jewish history in Milwaukee. Chagall exhibit on le cirque excellent. Milwaukees circus parade history display fabulous.

Good place to find out about the history of the Jewish people in Milwaukee. Went on the Museum Mile day, but admission isnt much other days. Special exhibits also.

The facility is absolutely amazing. My students really enjoyed the Holocausts speaker, who connected the dots because he had first hand account of the devastation he lived. More museum time for the students would be great.

Great place to learn Jewish history, prices are fair also

The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating of our large (14) group of young men. The young men learned a lot about the Jewish culture and some African American history from right here in Milwaukee that we didnt know. We look forward to taking another group later this year.

It is a great place to learn about the Jewish History for Milwaukee. Its small but the special exhibit right now for May 2019 is the Partisan groups for WWII. So glad I went!

We are very fortunate to have such knowledgeable and committed people in charge of this very important museum-would appeal to anyone interested in history and very nicely curated-keeps you moving.

Very nice opportunity if you are in town to visit this museum and get to know more about the Jewish history. Everybody needs to see that.

An incredible and heart felt expierence. Knowledgeable staff. Great amount of info on the history of the Jewish communities and the impact they had on the shaping of Milwaukee. You will not be disappointed.

Everybody should visit this place.

The JMM is Milwaukee treasure. I cant think of anywhere else in the city where a somewhat limited space can have such an impact. The recent exhibits, including Stitching History (nationally renowned), Chasing Dreams (baseball), Project Mah Jong, and Fabric of Survival keep the museum feeling fresh and command return visits as this place continues to impress. If you live in Milwaukee, you should join; if you are visiting Milwaukee, you should visit. Its a gem of our community. Enjoy.
