Beautiful place to walk along the Milwaukee River with the family, and at night the hoan bridge is lit up different colors for holidays and special events at night.

The underside of the Hoan Bridge is accessed on Erie Street/The Hank Aaron Trail. It is on the southern edge of the Summerfest grounds. It is near the Pierhead Lighthouse.

Perfect mini getaway if you love beautiful lake views and the potent stench of feces wafting up from the river. You can just hold your breath :) If youre parked underneath, there are several pokestops and a gym if youre still into that kind of thing. And you can walk into Lakeshore park from back there and all the way around to the Summer fest grounds

Well since we can review this bridge... It is definitely one of the coolest bridges in Milwaukee. I enjoy driving into the city via this bridge since there is an awesome view to be had every time. I do wish that there was a footpath added to the bridge as it would be a great place to take pictures. I can dream.

Had an amazing experiance driving on this bridge for the first time. Has brilliant veiws of Lake Michigan. In my opinion, this bridge is a symbol of Millwaukee.

I drove in circles just to go over both sides of the bridge! The views are outstanding looking over Lake Michigan.

I love crossing the Hoan bridge every time I cross over into Milwaukee. Theres nothing I love more than smelling the stench of the harbor in my car, overpowering my air fresheners. My best calculus teacher used to always make jokes about driving off the Hoan bridge whenever we got poor grades on tests or quizzes.

I think it would been better if it was built a 1/4 mile or so out over the lake. Just my opinion.
