Beautiful trails with beautiful scenery. Even nice beach area! Cute ducks to play with as well!

I have spent many wonderful hours in the park and on the beach as a boy. Swimming or ice skating.We currently really enjoy the South Shore Terrace i.e. the beer garden. Its fabulous. The employees are friendly and a great help.

Good food. Beverages a bit limited the last few times Ive attended. Clean and distanced appropriately. Family and dog friendly. Beautiful view.

We stopped in to eat drive in food with a view of the lake. The marina is pretty and made a nice backdrop for a dinner away from other diners. Until we can all sit in dining rooms again, Id recommend this park for the view of the lake.Theyve probably got other stuff to recommend them. The facility looks nice. Check them out.

South shore has best farmers market in city on Saturdays!!! Also, have a beer garden, which have not tried yet, but will soon. Menu looks good!!! This park is a great place to watch lakefront fireworks!! Cant see ground show, but can see all others, our favorite spot to go!! It Definitely draws a crowd, but doesnt take forever to get home from traffic. Marina and small fishing pier here as well... Good place to feed the ducks with little ones!!

Great view, lots of different equipment for all ages. Plenty of seating for parents/adults. Public restrooms (when there isnt a pandemic) and port-a-johns.

A little bit of everything for everyone in the family. From dog walking to kids playground & sometimes feels like your own private little beach. On the norm without Covid19 there is food & drinks for purchase. Well kept & clean place!

Beautiful. Quiet. Breakers make the water kid friendly. Bring a chair so you can sit under a tree.

As always a beautiful place to walk. The playground is open again and most of the benches & picnic tables are removed.

Beautiful park. Lots of area for the kids to run around and there is a beer hall next door where parents can greens some beers while the kids can play. They have two different jungle gyms for two different age groups 1, 2-5yrs and 1, 5 yrs and up. Overall its a great place to take the kids and view the great lake while drinking a beer and relaxing on their benches.

We went to the farmers market. It was organized, with this unique situation going on. I have to use a walker and even though it was in the grass I was able to shop without issue.

Always busy, nice walking area. Wish it had a better beach and a few restaurants.

Last summer I visited this park dozens of times with my son.Today- Sunday 9/27 my son and I arrive for the first time this season (yay pandemic).We parked in the lot with about 10 other cars. There was one truck with a trailer.There’s a sign saying the boat dock is closed-high water?An hour and a half later we return to said car- there’s an unmarked Ford Focus and an individual writing 35$ tickets to all of the cars parked there. “Parked without permit”. I went to ask the individual if that was new/where’s the sign stating this requirement/etc. they drove off without discussion.The ticket was issued by “l Allard”.

Nice beach, as you enter the water the sand turns to rocks that are rather unpleasant to stand on, but because of that there are normally not a lot of people in the water at this beach making it a great location for individuals looking to get their swim workout in without disruption. Also, there is a beer garden right next to the beach!

What a fun place for a family gathering of an evening! Wonderful beer garden with good food. Also wine, cider, and a few cocktails. Tables both inside and out. Great staff!

Awesome shaded part and sunny part. 2 playground areas and a set of swings. A fun sand pit. Beautiful views and beaches either sandy or rocky.

The Saturday Farmers Market is open during pandemic. Market organizers have done a great job spacing the booths & indicating where to stand while you wait to be taken care of by a vendor. Dogs are not allowed this year and masks are required.

This park provides great views of Lake Michigan. The city is viewable in the distance. There is a block of boats close by as well. I got great pictures here. My only gripe is that I didnt bring my zoom lens to snap a few pictures of seagulls in flight. I did capture great panoramic shots and sweeping views. There is a market, bars and restaurants withing walking distance as well.

Stopped to have lunch and to see when they may open up the indoor Pavilion. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

Went to South Shore for the farmers market. It was amazing! Friendly atmosphere, so many vendors! I was more excited than a kid in a candy shop! Neys, Lopez Bakery, Press Waffles, so many fresh vegetables!! They have such a variety of vendors full of locally grown and made foods, I think anyone who attends will be happy!

Gorgeous park on Lake Michigan! Also, there are some great fossils to be found along the beaches

It was so sad to see no boats anchored at the yacht club this time but I love the view. The city needs to hurry up and fix the pavement leading to the fishing dock so I can enjoy that once again.

Its a beautiful place to go for a run or to chill by the beach.

Very nice park. Excellent walking/biking paths along the lake. Some nice picnic areas, and during the summer the farmers market on Saturdays is great. The South Shore Terrace Beer Garden is great, decent food, plenty of drink options and a nice event space.

A little small, and the beach gets more polluted every year, but the south shore terrace is wonderful.

This is a beautiful park along side Lake Michigan with great trails to walk, run and bike through. Scenery is absolutely awesome. Dogs are allowed.

Beautiful setting right on the water. Fun for people of all ages! A park for the kids and a beer garden for the adults. If beer isnt your thing, there is a coffee shop just up the hill. A Famers market every Saturday during the summer months makes this a go to hangout spot on the weekend. There is a venue on site that hosts wedding as well! Perfect spot in Bayview.
