Stayed at greenfield at 2 miles distance from this park. Visited this park every evening from March 2017 till August 2017. This park has it all, the pond, the trails, benches for picnics, the rest areas, 4th July fireworks....we njoyed every moment we spend here! Also a very good place for photography!!!! A must go for family and couples. Can bike, grill and celebrate here ( by reserving picnics ares )

The pravillion that is being used has poor fondation, no restroom near it, and how technology is today should have plug centers on unit. Just in case your battery is low.

Great park to take the family or to go for a jog. Theres a fairly sized pond that you can go around, multiple path systems to wander, and a playground for your children to play at. There are also local animals that have made their homes in this park, such as geese, seagulls and even some fish.

Stop for lunch in car its quiet nice view.

Water is green and slimy and stinks in the pond. Not pleasant to be around. They could divert KK river and have fresh water feeding this pond. Drains back into KK river (More of a creek unless it rains) on S.E. corner of pond.

Calm and peaceful. But the bathrooms were locked and thats disrespectful to the adults. We adults didnt graffiti the bathrooms the kids did, they dont need to take it out on us.

I love the little trails inside the forest. Its clean as well. I was astonished at the state of Mitchell park with its dirty needles and diapers. I grew up on the south side of Milwaukee and have fond memories of this place.

Had a company picnic with hundreds of people. The grass wasnt cut for weeks. There were dead trees that where fall risks, large branches on the ground. The picnic tables were giant splitter generators.The whole time the park ranger sat in their truck looking for reasons to write tickets for our group. We got a few warnings on how we loaded and unloaded catering equipment and sound systems.Its clear the park is not being funded and is a source of generating revenue for remaining staff via fees and fines.

Jackson Park was amazing! They have free parking, spacious picnic areas and even an onsite bathroom. There is also a playground for the kids and a beautiful lake. 5 stars! Highly reccomend going to this park.

The soccer goals are freshly painted, and the field lines are tight. Plus, the lagoon and playground and tennis courts and stuff.

The pond, the trail to walk on, the pool, the kids playground area with sand, the picnic areas, the beautiful trees, you cant go wrong with Jackson park.

Jackson Park is a family friendly park with lots of outdoor room for family gatherings, picnics, adult and children swimming pool, totlot, pond, and an indoor private room for gatherings and meetings. Its nearby stores, a library, hospital, etc.

Was there on the 4th of July. Bathrooms were unsanitary and put people at risk of being injured due to the entire floor being soaked with may have been water or urine or a combination of both. Toliet paper was completely gone in the restroom by 6pm. No one came to clean bathrooms or replace toilet paper, but did put up a wet floor sign

Beautiful park in the city. Please if you visit this park, do not litter. There is an unbelievable amount of garbage strewn across the entire park

I went to school next door to the park. My family and neighbors always celebrated holidays in that great park. Strangely, now things are different. These young people dont clean up after themselves. I cannot understand how a tax paying resident would leave such a mess. Maybe their millennial and get things for free .

The park was good, I noticed a lot of birds around the pond, and that was actually in all the reviews that i saw before the visit. But in general it’s acceptable and yes i will go again when summer is here again.

It used to be a gem in Milwaukee, now, you can only tell that it used to be. Its filled with trash, and delapidating buildings, out of control late teen/ early 20-somethings, obvious drug transactions... and an unfortunate homeless population. Its all just so sad.

It cannot get any better than this. It is a short walking distance from home. It has picnic areas, playgrounds, swimming pool, a fishing pond, areas for walking and running. The park is well maintained and clean; most people put the trash in the trash bins and maintenance keeps it clean. It is a good area to relax.

This park has nice view..a nice place where u can have a BBQ with your family, and there is a lake where u can ride a boat, it cost money tho, there is so many things u can do.play soccer, basketball, volleyball and all the other sport.

Centrally located on the south side of Milwaukee, Jackson park offers everything you could want in a park except a golf course. There are paths that travel all over the park. The park itself is heavily wooded with a very dense section splitting the center of the park. A large lagoon with two islands is near the northern end of the park. (Occasionally there are paddle boats for rent.) There are three pavilions (one is open air) that can be rented for weddings, meetings, etc.There are baseball diamonds, multiple soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, volley ball areas and a play area for children. Near the large pool is a free standing exercise machine. There is no parking area so all parking is done on the streets that enclose the park or the single road that crosses the park. There are summer concerts held in the park and it is always available for a bike ride, a good jog or just a nice walk.

The best dog park ever. Even if you dont have a dog, its the perfect morning or after breakfast stroll. Great spot for some cardio if you fancy a jog on or off the path. Its a good workout trying to run up the sand hills from the beach. It can get windy so be prepared with a light jacket. Lots of parking.

Check out the Jackson Park Farmers Market every Thursday afternoon in the summer. Small but nice, right in front of the boathouse.

This park its a fun place for all ages. Its so good for birthdays and any party youre going to do. Love it .
