This church is a gem! Its a dream come true for a wedding photographer that is tired of the same old small, dimly lit buildings with no windows. Granted there could be better ambient light, but who cares when you have a structure like this!I am always excited to shoot here and the volunteer staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

This is one of the most beautiful buildings in that area next to some Modern Towers this church in red color shows a great piece of art and addition to the neighborhood. It is close to public library and Marquette University.

We were married there 43 years ago. I sang on the choir too.

I am not a presbyterian but my husband and I went there for a funeral. The church itself is pretty, and the service was a little long but very nice.

Calvary Presbyterian Church is an absolutely fantastic wedding ceremony venue. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect, and we truly feel that we could not have picked a more beautiful location for it. In addition, Cindy was the coordinator we worked with from the church, and she went above and beyond to be flexible when it came to scheduling and helpful when it came to organizing. One thing to be aware of is that the church does not have air conditioning, so on particularly hot days it can be very warm in the building, but even with that said, it was in the high 70s on our wedding day and the temperature was not bad at all. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with the Big Red Church, and we recommend it very highly!

I have found Calvary to be the perfect church for my family. Warm and inviting, a small enough congregation so everyone feels like family.
