We came down during COVID to get away from the Pennsylvania winter. The room is a bit small, but considering it is Miami Beach, you have to expect that. The bed is very comfortable and the room, besides being a bit small, is great. The food at the restaurant is reasonably priced for a resort and was very good. The pool area is really nice and the beach access is good. Having free access to chairs and umbrellas on the beach is a definite plus.I will definitely come back and highly recommend.
Very nice location with hotel standard amenities. Only cons might be due to drop in customer service during covid times - I had to call front desk to get basic amenities like pen, paper, cutlery all which should be all be in the room by default.I booked the city view room, very beautiful but strangely feels even better the longer I spend time here, its quite gorgeous.Private beach front to literally kill for, Ill leave it at that, you have to see with your own eyes, pics do just justice but will attach a few anyways.Ok pool, at 4ft 3 inches height pretty much all round. Not too deep, not too shallow, meeeh.Restaurants decor and food I must say was exquisite, I had oatmeal with fruit, my Lord, possibly the best simple breakfast Ive ever had.Anyway its a gorgeous hotel and a solid choice for its price and offer. The most solid I could find, Im sure there are other options around that are cheaper offer even but would I book it again, yes I would.
Outstanding service! Rates were great, rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional from top down and they took COVID protection measures very seriously. The pool and beach were awesome! Blocks from SOBE but far enough to have a laid back and chill feel.We highly recommend The Palms!
Visited Miami beach for Thanksgiving w.e, so it was a short trip. Everything was clean and sanitazed, staff was wearing masks at all time - all of which gave me the needed peace of mind to enjoy the stay. What I loved even more though is that they were able to implement their sanitizing procedures but still taking into consideration the environment, reducing unneeded waste and saving energy. Huge thumbs up for the compostable agave straws in drinks, although they still use plastic glasses...so theres room for improvement. Staff is outstanding and super helpful. Highly recommended hotel!
Had a short babymoon at the hotel and we loved it. Everything was clean and sanitized, staff was always friendly and the room was very nice. The spa was incredible. Shout out to Carla and Michelle for the awesome massages. Overall great experience. Only downside is I wish the pillows were firmer but that is me picking at straws. Will definitely be back.
My fiance and I stayed at the Palms Hotel & Spa for 8 nights and all the staffs were all very accommodating. They upgraded us for our stay, room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Luis from Valet parking was super friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendation. He was always willing to help us. The hotel grounds was well kept, beautiful and relaxing. Over all a great experience and will return again. We both recommend The Palms Hotel & Spa.
My cousin and I was at the spa this past weekend and the ladies at the front desk Andrea and Sophia were extremely professional. The ladies did everything in their power to make sure we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and spa for your massage and relaxation needs. Yuly and Brenton were excellent as well in making sure we got the massages we deserved. Everyone from the waiters to the guys handing out the towels were extremely professional. We will definitely return. Great little get away!
The palms hotel and spa was very nice place to stay at during this pandemic, when I first arrived I was greeted by the valet and they have a system when you are ready to leave the hotel you cab text a code to a ph. No. And they will being your car within 10 minutes. The reception was very friendly and nice. The pool and outside area was also very nice and clean. The staff is friendly. Room was completely sanitized and sealed you can even smell the sanitizer all over the hall way. The only thing that I wasn’t happy about that I asked for a crib for my baby for three times until they provides to me they kept telling me that it was already put in but it’s nowhere to be found, eventually the mngr came up and brought it. Love the place
If anyone out there is looking for deals for hotels and resorts browse through ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ reserved a hotel room on there and these guys had the absolute best prices any where!I love this place! You can come with your significant other and relax! The rift raft is limited and you can have the filing of being on a island but walk outside to the city life. Im coming back for sure and hopefully sooner than later.
Hotel is absolutely beautiful! Great beach front location. Awesome location for a gorgeous wedding. Beaches here are way cleaner than California’s beaches. My bf is from Mexico City but the people here had bad attitudes for some reason when he spoke back to them in Spanish. But the hotel staff were ALL awesome, especially when we checked-in w/ Hannah! We arrived at 7am and she got us a room super early. Thanks Hannah, you’re the best!
If anybody out there is searching for deals for hotel rooms head to ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ booked a hotel room on there and these guys had the lowest prices anywhere!I love this place! Great experience! My boyfriend and I got the premier city room for his birthday weekend. I got it because it came with the robes and slippers (need to request this during covid-19) and the toilet was separate from the shower/vanity versus their standard. Our room was on the corner so our main view was of the city but the bathroom view had an ocean view. There’s a safe and mini fridge in the room. The staff was great and accommodating. There were some waits for things like towels but they’re doing the best they can with limited resources/social distancing. We arrived a little early before our check in time and they gave us access to the hotel amenities while we waited. I requested chocolate strawberries and champagne last minute for my boyfriend and I the day we arrived. They were able to fulfill my request. The chocolate strawberries were delicious! The food was all delicious! My favorite was there ceviche (not pictured - we ate it too quickly for me to get a picture). I wish they gave 2-3 extra plantain chips with the ceviche. My boyfriend made a comment that the guacamole/salsa came with too many chips for the amount of guacamole/salsa we received yet the ceviche didn’t have enough. We also ate dinner there the first night (pictured) and split a delicious bottle of wine. My favorite alcoholic beverage they had was the coconut mojito! Both the beach and pool were beautiful and had great accommodations. Plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas for all of the guests. They had a server that was coming up to guest’s beach chairs/tables to take drink/food orders.
The place was nice and all, but they charge my account an extra 38 dollars a day for staying there. I asked the front desk lady why is there an extra fee and she told me everyone pays it, so not only I have to pay for the room and all, but it’s not all upfront like It should be, but there’s more added on. I would just go somewhere else for whoever reads this.
This hotel is beautiful. The decor makes you feel like you are on vacation right away. The gardens here are amazing and showcase many different kinds of palm trees as well as tropical flowers, not to forget the two parrots. The grounds are super clean and sport a nice pool and a beautiful little gazebo for events. We were lucky enough to live in the penthouse suite for a week and not only is the suite big enough for four people, it also has the best view of the beach and ocean. The cleaning service was impeccable, meals both at the beach and for room service were delicious; the only miss was the arugula salad, it was small, the arugula limp and the sour dough bread hard as rock. The staff everywhere is great and it seems to be policy for whoever meets you in the elevator to wish you a nice day as they did so without fail. What a welcome gesture.Coffee machine and pods in the room were great. We definitely had a wonderful March break here.
We had nice time.
I really enjoyed my stay here. All the different areas such as beach, pool, lobby, valet parking had very kind and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and modern. I felt at ease seeing how the hotel is taking precautions to keep everyone safe. When i left all i could think about was coming back!
A great vacation spot for my loved one and I! They took excellent care of us during our stay. We particularly enjoyed walking the surround boardwalk, the beautiful pool area, and the meals were exquisite. Staff were friendly, orderly, and went above and beyond for us.
Beautiful fun and great service. Just tough havinf no food or drink availble after 9pm tho
Place is nice.Stayed a couple nights, friendly stuff.Had a little issue with the door in my room, I guess they arent sealed good and you can clearly hear noise on hallways.Maybe when they fix this problem I can give them the missing star.
To start off, I had my wedding here. Great venue and great service. The wedding planner with the hotel was awesome as well. The hotel experience, sup-par. Maybe it is the low rates, maybe it is because of the time of year. I just finished two nights at this hotel and the amount of riff-raff, (customers it attracted) was just awful. There was occasions where mothers were breast feeding in the pool, a group brought their own speaker to play music at the pool and bar, (louder than hotel music), and staff response was lousy. I guess a customer is allowed to bring a portable speaker and blast their music for all other customers to hear, at least that is what staff said at the hotel. Unbelievable. The food is pretty good, and rooms are nice. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. If you are traveling to Miami from another state, you might want to look for a more expensive venue. Unless you like the aforementioned.
Beautiful grounds, pool, access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas, Aveda products in the bathroomour room was super small, but nice and clean; bathroom same issue, just no counter space really....Id suggest a towel rack or two or perhaps extra shelf or stool as it was hard to keep toiletries in placereceptionist / check in experience was great, early check-in was a treat after a very long flight form West Coast, thank you!
Amazing but very short stay! We were here in march this year, we came from Orlando to stay for 3 nights and head back to Orlando for the rest of our vacation. This was during the outbreak of Covid-19.. 3 Days after arrival im back on the ground in Amsterdam! Will come back to this hotel! Did not have the time to relax! :-(
We were resting in a company, and things disappeared from our two rooms. Phone, headphones, credit cards and some personal items. I had to call the police. But they found nothing. the rest was ruined.
Its a very nice hotel. However, they dont have any understanding whatsoever. My husband and I needed to reschedule our couples massage for the next day and we were told by Adriana that if we needed to cancel, we could by 6pm the day before without being charged. Then a while later, she called back and said that since they did is the favor of moving our appointment, they would still charge the full price. The manager Vilma even tried to say that we misunderstood and wed have to show up or get charged. I tried to clarify the information I received and she tried to make it seem like I was lying. My husband heard every word Adriana said about the rescheduling and every time I told the manager the information her associate told us, she said that wasnt what we were told and tried to force us to answer her questions and refused to answer mine until she told me that they dont need customers like us.
The windows do not open and the views or terrible I was shown three type of rooms in which one room had a great size but I got a view of a huge palm tree when I tell u I could see nothing but palm tree it was horrible but nice lol then the other room was a parking lot view and then the other was a ocean view but again u can’t open the windows it’s horrible the manger was stuck on charging me extra instead of pleasing me no rooms have a balcony choose another hotel I tell u MUCH CREDIT TO CARLOS THE BELL HOP FOR TRYING
One of the nice hotels on their end of South Beach. Great atmosphere. Massage girls are great. Bed is uber comfortable. Loved it.
Location is great. Right on the beach with private ocean front access including complimentary chairs and umbrellas. Staff was friendly and attentive at all times. Plenty of low cost restaurants in the surrounding area (mmmm can you say Cuban food??). Overall had a great experience and would come back in a heart beat.
Having the beach just steps away was wonderful. As far as the hotel goes, I arrived on Monday expecting to havea spa day on Tuesday or Wednesday and to my surprise it was closed on those days and my flight left on Thursday! Not happy at all. Room was okay, but needs updating. Service charges for every purchase was ridiculous!
Not cheap but quality worth money. Extremely friendly, professional, nice and smiling staff. Own beach, pool area, good food, great spa. Perfectly clean, hight quality. Great place for relaxing holidays. Just one thing you could improve - quality of bread and rolls for breakfast
Perfect to stay without the party people.Wonderful staff and a amazing pool area, the beach is great and include beach chairs, towels and cold water (infused with fresh fruits). The restaurants are great as well and i think it´s one of the best choices in Miami Beach.
Great staff, very clean all around. We didnt want to leave the resort while we were there it was so nice. The only place that I have ever been to that looks exactly like the pictures!
I loved the tiki bar atmosphere and direct access to the beach. Full bar service at the waterfront and at the pool. Felt like a tropical getaway. Only thing I would change is the rooms have lit up indicators on many walls that allow you to turn on and off lights. In the middle of the night, its like having 5-6 alarm clock faces on. We managed to cover most up in order to sleep, but it didnt ruin the overall experience of the hotel stay.
This hotel is the worst experience ever!!!! A beautiful room but the resort NO!!!! You can not hear any music of your own and they do not play music either, it is boring and the drinks are over priced and don’t taste good at all!!!! The staff and security are rude and harassed my family the whole time we were there. If I could have got my money back and went somewhere else I would!!!! Do not go here if you want to have a good time !!
The staff was very polite. Unfortunately, we had problems with the air-conditioning in our room which took 2 days to get lined out. Also, The espresso machine in our suite had not been cleaned prior to our arrival.
I went here a few days ago with my boyfriend and a group of friends and had an awesome time. We went late at night and planned to just sleep but ended up swimming all night. The hotel is clean, modern, and eco-friendly with the nicest staff and prettiest beach with both rocks and sand. The rooms were also pretty. Theres a spa, bar, big pool, shops, lounge areas and a beautiful view of the skyscrapers from the beach. The planes flying low over the pool area was just icing on the cake. I would probably have my wedding here. We got way more than what we paid for. 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone.
This hotel was absolutely outstanding! My husband and I are very particular about where we stay and look at reviews extensively to find the best resort and location. This trip was a last minute booking with our 2 year old daughter and we will definitely be going back here for quick getaways from NYC. We booked through Jonathan in reservations and he was very helpful; even making some changes to our reservation at the last minute. When we arrived on the premises the front desk and hotel staff was very accommodating. We found the hotel to be super clean, the resort was a great location on the beach and had a nice outdoor patio for cocktail hour and snacks. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy another few days here. Thank you so much Jonathan and The Palms staff for everything!
We stayed at The Palms Hotel & Spa the first two nights in Miami. They had a restaurant, tiki bar at the pool, beach service, chair, umbrellas and towels included in the resort fee. This hotel has an Aveda Spa that I didn’t use personally but it looked beautiful! Rooms were on the smaller side but clean, comfortable and the pool / beach area made up for it! I do just wish there was more room for two people to put their luggage somewhere. I would highly recommend making reservations for dinner at The Versace Mansion, which is a quick Uber away. Wow, what an experience!!
Updated rooms, beautiful surroundings, nice private beach and pool. Great drinks. Good value for the price. We will go back.
Really disappointing, try somewhere else first. They are just phoning it in. Impossible to get a drink on the beach, maybe the flags mean “don’t serve me”. Also hard to get a seat at the pool or on the beach. We sat beside a storage trailer one day. Also hard to get a drink in the bar for some reason, they seem to get overwhelmed easily. The food is ok, but better close by. The shop in the lobby closed early every night. The concierge sent us to a chain restaurant for tacos. Try somewhere else first, it’s like like this place is a great deal. There is better in the area.
I stayed here in the middle of March 2020 with my girlfriend for 4 nights for a quick getaway.Location: Be warned that if you are visiting any time in the next few months (probably any time in 2020 from what the staff told us) that they are doing roadwork along the same street the hotel is on. It was bad enough to the point where once you are a half mile away from the hotel it takes 20 minutes of sitting in traffic to get there. Then when leaving, it’s another 10-15 minutes for the valet to get your car and another 15 minutes to get out of the area. And all because of this roadway in front of the hotel. Because of this, you are best off doing everything you need in one trip to avoid wasted time. It also makes the hotel feel like a prison cell because it’s difficult to come and go as you please. Additionally, we were disappointed to see there was not much to walk to in the area. There were a few overpriced restaurants but no shopping, ice creams, or convenience stores within walking distance. The area also seems a bit run down. Also no direct access to the boardwalk from the hotel because they are doing construction there too.The hotel: The grounds are nice and are kept clean. On our second night, they shut down the pool bar and most of the area due to an outside event they were having. When we asked the concierge what was happening, he told us the event was a food and wine showcase and that it would cost us $100 per person if we want to be a part of it. We expressed our displeasure with this since we are guests and the event was taking away amenities that we are entitled to and the concierge just shrugged his shoulders. The pool water is nice but there is no hot tub. The beach is public and not private. We had the buffet breakfast at the Essensia restaurant in the hotel which was good food for a good value, but we did not have dinner there due to the prices, lack of good reviews, and limited menu. The room: We reserved a city view room. We got a room on the 11th floor on the corner facing the bay but we were also able to see a glimpse of the ocean which was nice. No rooms have balconies except for a few of the very expensive ones. Our room had one bathroom with the sink built into the toilet which is supposed to save water although you end up having to flush it multiple times anyway because it doesn’t flush very well. The second bathroom had the sink and shower. The shower had a big problem with water leaking out the door and pooling in the bathroom. This is mentioned in multiple other reviews and it seems hotel management still has not addressed the problem.Overall I would not recommend this hotel mostly due to the area, but also largely because of our experience with an event preventing us from enjoying our stay and the lack of help from the concierge.
Friendly staff, good food in resturant for breakfast and dinner and overall great experience. Had good access to the beach, not too crowded.
We stayed one night and arrived quite late, around 9pm and had to check out the next day, so we did not get the chance to fully enjoy the amenities. We ate and relaxed in the lounge which was nice. We wanted to stroll down to the beach and were told a back entrance was open, but it was not. The hotel and rooms had a nice scent like rose petals. The bathroom was strange with the toilet in a separate room with a faucet above. I realize this was to help conserve water but it was too strange for us. The refrigerator was stocked with liquor so if you wanted to store anything you were out of luck. No microwave was available. Overall very pricey for our short stay. I feel as if there should be a discounted price for latecomers.
Good hotel on Miami Beach. Room modern but bed to small for 2 persons. Pool and beach top. Room view top, Parking expensive 42$/Over night. Fitness room to small and AC to cold. Staff top.
Very nice and very elegant hotel, from door man to the managers theyre great at customer service
Stay here for one night, definitely a must stay. You are greeted as soon as you walk into the hotel. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Water in the pool was at the perfect temperature. The entire pool area was amazing. Had tons of fun playing Connect 4 at one of the Cabanas. The room view of the ocean was amazing.
Really great customer service. We needed a place to stay after Hurricane Irma and the staff was really accommodating. Great pool and bar along with easy access to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. You can watch our travel vlog about our stay on our Alex & Erika YouTube channel. Great times!
This place never disappoints. Especially when it come to the food-you dont have go anywhere else. The pool is small compared to other resorts near by, but, most people go to the beach, so its never really crowded. The service is really good as well.
Nice Place!! But Can Be a Little More Customer Friendly
Amazing. Everything. 10/10. I would definitely recommend ocean view room ( just refurbished few months ago ). Service so welcoming and ready to help at any time. Rooms both so confortable and spacious with the latest in technology. The beach ... speechless. Everything. It will be our choice if we have the chance to come back in the future.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at The Palms Hotel last year in June. We had a great stay, the hotel atmosphere were just amazing. And the Breakfast also had a lot of varieties with The Haitian Chef who would make us a delicious Omelette.Guess what we are coming back in June if God willing for our 1 year wedding anniversary and reminisce our beautiful honeymoon. We have booked this hotel for a week. Oh Gosh I cant wait. This is by far the Best Hotel I have ever stayed even though it is kind of pricey but hey you get what you pay for. The price is right then I guess.
Beautiful property! Clean! Relaxing! Excellent valet service! We would definitely return.
Thank you Angela and Sebastian for the incredible stay, I will never forget your hospitality. -Ankit
Gorgeous hotel, great service. Ocean view room 1101 has an amazing view of the pool and ocean. Landscape is beautiful. Great atmosphere. Absolutely love it there. Beach is incredible. There is a resort fee that covers your beach chairs umbrella wifi. The only thing that would make it better is if they would allow the guest to use the mini fridge, unfortunately the mini fridge is full of beverages that you can purchase, but if you want a mini fridge you can ask for one and pay $10.00 a day which I thought is ridiculous when all hotels give you that amenity for free. This is why I give it a 4 stars. We didnt use the parking we did UBER which was cheaper than renting a car and paying for parking. I do recommend the hotel.
The pool and beach access is beautiful. The rooms are really small and the hotel is not near Miami night life.
Very nice all-inclusive resort with spa and beautiful grounds. Conveniently located at the north end of South Beach. Small fitness center, but one does not come here to work out, but to relax. Friendly staff. Valet parking and prices typical for South Beach. Would recommend and come again.
Amazing staff..facilities..and location. We strongly recommend The Palms..
My wife and I had a weekend getaway that was absolutely perfect!! Red at the front desk was so helpful and wonderful. The rest of the staff was great as well. Views of the ocean were fantastic and the Hotel was great. We didn’t even leave the property on Sunday because it was an oasis for us. We ate at all of their restaurants. Great food!! Thanks to the Palms and their staff for making our weekend so great!! We will be back!!
Overpriced and underwhelming! Do not waste your money paid 350$ for a tiny roomno balcony no complimentary water nothing! could not even coffee in the morning which is a deal breaker 350 a night and NO coffee until 7:30 NEVER AGAIN I like to get what I pay for and this was not the case here
It was AMAZING! The beach is beautiful and warm and lovely to swim in it is the perfect spot to go on vacation I %100 recommend this beautiful resort! The first time me and some family members stayed at this hotel it was for 10 days and we got a beautiful room and they gave us a plate of food welcoming us into the Hotel room. Oh and did I mention the cleaning lady cleaned out room very well and left chocolate under our pillows every time we left the hotel room. The pool was very pretty the sand was very soft and relaxing. The pool had this service where they had food and drinks and the food was very good the chefs cook very well! The hotel has a beautiful design and it’s very stylish and comfortable! The beach service is also amazing, me and my mom ordered food and the food tasted amazing the prices of food and other things in this hotel may cost you a pretty penny but I can for sure tell you that it is worth it because me and my mom stayed there for 3 times and did not doubt going to this hotel.️
The best in Miami!!! Been here 7 days and 3 more to go. We will be sad to leave our new favorite Miami beach resort and spa. Everyone here is incredible and provides amazing service!! Hanah welcoming us as we checked in with her and she was absolutely a sweetheart! Joseph, Jean and Christopher out on the beach taking care of our cabana, bringing us our incredible food and tropical drinks!! Then Luciana at the pool tiki bar is spot on! She was simply a delight! The whole resort is spotless, even the hallway by our 11th floor ocean front room smells like a tropical jungle! Fresh, clean and inviting! Our room is large, beautiful oceanfront view, amazing decor, comfy bed, firm if you like that, which we do! Refrigerator in the room, many drawers for your clothes so you can feel like you have moved in.. The toilet room is awesome with the sink on top so that it uses the water while washing your hands to refill the tank. Another way that this green hotel stays number #1 in my pick of resorts! The water fall shower is our favorite and all of the Aveda products goes along with their keeping it green and natural motive. The lights in the room are the best, the controls are by each room and also next to the bed so you can control it all, including the ceiling fan, right from the comfort of your bed. Cant say enough about this outstanding resort!!
Positive: Design, garden, beach Negative: Expensive restorant
This is a gorgeous hotel with excellent service staff. I had a completely restful & enjoyable time there.
First day, went for lunch at the restaurant near pool. Took 45 minutes to get our lunches, there was only 1 other table with customers... the fries were cold, the grilled chicken was obviously not recently cooked because it was barely warm. No decaf coffee. We were 5 people.. all same issues with food. Waiter was very nice.Room, its average. No robes, had to call for them.Room wasnt cleaned until I was getting ready to go out at night and couldnt let her in since I was using bathroom and getting dressed.I have to say that although I did not really like the hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful.
The Palms was a quiet beautiful oasis! There is ample seating outside from the porch, garden, pool, and large private beach complete with loungers. All of these offered their own perfect ambience. My last day was spent switching between all of these areas with ease. Service by staff was great, even to accommodating a late dinner when we just missed restaurant closing time on the night of our arrival. Also to note, the staff was not pushy to buy drinks or food, only to check on you. The bathrooms nearest the pool were cleaned hourly without fail and the rest of the hotel was very clean as well. Close to other hotels and restaurants and an Uber away from South Beach and the Lincoln Rd mall. I stayed here upon recommendation and will definitely stay here again!
Great location, staff is excellent; Use the free Miami trolly system to get to areas in south beach for restaurants. Thank you to the front dress ( Anna T) for helping us with our room!
Great service, clean room, easy assess to beach front, good price
Stayed at this hotell for 3 nights. The room was nice and clean, and I was impressed by the touch of modern style in the room and hotell in general. Loved the outdoor areas, both pool side and beach was just fantastic.Only downside to our stay that I would like to mention is that we where placed right next to the elevator, and there was almost no soundproofing between our room and the hallway. Everytime somebody used the elevator, which was all the time, it felt like they almost was inside our room talking and making noise. This even woke us up from our sleep quite a few times.
Nice location, friendly service.
Had an appointment at the spa for bridal hair styling and make up. Unfortunately the make up artist of the hotel wasnt there. But they found a solution and called someone else (self-employed girl). I was super satisfied. The hair stylist is such a cool person and the make up artist is such a sweet and talented girl.Thank you so much for everything. The foundation was laid for a great day.
Our wedding and our stay was at the Palms Hotel. I couldnt ask for more from the staff, from the catering crew and from Holly, our wedding coordinator. If youre looking for a destination wedding or an amazing way to start your union as husband and wife, this is it.
Amazing place! Great service, bed and pillows super comfortable. Great view and beach. They gave us a complementary bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Nice detail. Strongly recommended. ☆☆☆☆☆
Great place, nice beach friendly staff. Rooms very clean and modern. Had an excellent stay
Love this place. We will totally come back. Close enough to South Beach for fun but far enough away for peace and quiet. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the staff are friendly and well trained.
Fantastic having all of our family staying at the block for our wedding celebration in Miami. Services amazing the restaurant its great. I love the ladies of the spa downstairs. Omi was a delight and the Venezuelan lady as well. We had a beautiful time there
Stay at this hotel for two nights and had an amazing ocean view!!! Hotel is really clean, and provides lots of amenities. Valet parking is quick and staffs are very friendly. Yoga classes and zumba classes are available. Downstair restaurant had tasty burgers. And access to beach is right off the hotel and the water is not too deep with good waves for morning and evening swimmers. Loved the view so much from the room and will definitely stay there again if go to Miami.
Can’t stop raving about this place. It is the best hidden gem in South Beach. I hope it stays like that. A little oasis in Miami Beach. You can’t beat their service. The hospitality and staff are amazing. Carolyn in the front office was extremely nice. Overall the valet, front office, housekeeping everyone deserve a 5 star rating. I’m definitely planning another staycation with them.
This was such a beautiful and relaxing place!! I was there for my sisters wedding and I did not want to come back home! My only criticism will be that our brunch meals came out slow and not of the best quality...but overall, GREAT place!
Quaint, boutique feeling. Has a true Floridian feel. Small but quality accommodations, excellent and friendly service, fresh and delicious food. Food and drink a bit pricey. Small pool area so go early or head for the beach with great views and ample space.
This Hotel is amazing, customer service is awesome, the beach side and the pool are as well of the top. The room was very clean, I was able to bring my dog, IDK if is allow by the hotel but mine is a service dog, I thought the food was going to be extra expensive but its not, same as the drinks. Pool is open 24 hours, It feels like a 5 starts hotel. The only I thing I didnt like was the rooms bathroom, the toilet is separate from the shower and the sink. Also the receptionist was not informative and very dry, I had to figure out myself what was going on at the moment of check in and check out.
It was our 1st visit, our WEDDING ANNIVERSARY and everything was PERFECT! The management was super kind and thoughtful considering our reason for coming. The hotel offered pristine amenities, beautiful decor and customer service was 2nd to NONE with its evening turn-down service! This experience offered by the Palms was OVERWHELMINGLY BLISSFUL! So much so that we didnt want to leave to catch our flight out. We will definitely return to the Palms for our next stay in Miami, were excited to return.
Great Hotel, great People ! A good place to relax sith the family
Positive: Friendly staff and food was fantastic!
This wa san amazing stay. Very attentive staff and the grunds were amazing. Essentia is some of the best ood we had in Miami. The housekeeping staff does not do well with attention to detail. There were dirty spots on the grout in the bathroom, and the sink wasnt as clan as it shouldve been. Otherwise it was fine
Very nice. Great property. Staff very helpful. Will stay here again.
Very happy with our stay at The Palms. This was my first time booking a trip to South Beach and I was overwhelmed by all of the hotel options so even after all of my research I was still a little concerned that Ive missed something. Thankfully every single one of our expectations were either met or exceeded with our stay here at the Palms. The rooms are cozy a little small but thats okay because in beautiful Miami weather youre not in the room that much anyway. The pool area is special in that it is heavily secluded from the beach or public areas by a dense foliage and landscaping. You have a nice secluded private feeling here at the pool. It seems that most other Resort pool areas are broadcast and wide open to the general public walking up and down the boardwalk here you have a very quiet private feeling. The gym area is small too small dont have great expectations for that. The lobby area is beautiful and the moment you step in youre greeted by some lovely perfumes and aroma in the air the restaurant is just magnificent we enjoyed a lovely breakfast here sitting outside with terrific staff a great selection and quite honestly fair prices. The poolside wait staff are highly attentive and very friendly we got to know them over a couple days here which also helps with a personal feel as well. The location on Collins Ave also worked well for us because its just On The Fringe of the really dense heavy touristy part of Collins Ave which means its quiet at night and yet still very close to where the action is.We are the kind of people who like to try something different every time we take a trip however on our next visit to Miami Beach we very well may rebook here at the Palms it certainly service to all of our needs.
Everything is just like you imagined!!! My son and I loved the resort and plan to return. It has a tropical island flare and the staff is amazing!! The drinks and food are a little pricey and the beach is steps away from the pool. The rooms are comfortable and very clean!! The spa is excellent stop in and see Bobbi her hands are magic!!!
Room is very tiny, staff very rude, beach no umbrella and pool is small
We had our wedding here in April, and everything went off without a hitch! Yasmin was amazing at staying on top of things and helping us plan everything: from food and drinks (the tasting was an especially nice touch), to the wedding schedule, and even helped us out when the weather was looking dicey, advising us to move up the beach ceremony to avoid rain. Also, all of our other vendors knew of the Palms and worked seamlessly with Yasmin (we didnt even have to interact with them!)For those who want an outdoor wedding, but want backup plans in case of bad weather, this is the perfect location. We had a beach ceremony, outdoor cocktail reception, and dinner in the veranda (partially outdoors), with plenty of backup locations. The Palms itself is incredibly beautiful, and it was so nice to relax by the pool and/or beach, and our guests kept remarking how amazing the cocktail hour terrace location was. They also had a bunch of nice touches throughout our stay- when we checked in, we were greeted with a cheese plate, and the night of our wedding we discovered a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room. Our room had an amazing view and was very spacious! Our breakfasts (not complementary, but worth it) were tasty, and the poolside drinks really hit the spot. Also, front desk has literally anything- toothpaste, spare umbrellas, corkscrews, etc, which made our stay extra stress-free.
Hyvä hotelli! Suosittelen!Best Wi-Fi Ive ever had in leisure hotel! It works in room, pool area and even in hotels beach area with good speed.Cool pool area with direct beach access. Drinks and the food we had were a bit pricy, but seems to be market price in this area.Enjoyed our one week vacation, and I can recommend this hotel
Was part of a beautiful wedding here. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful. Valet parking was practically necessary though as there isnt really any street parking.
I booked my hotel about 4 to 5 months in advance for my birthday celebration. Paid the non-refundable deposit. Got to the hotel and felt rushed checking in (not your normal let me get you to your room, but more of a I don’t wanna be here so let’s hurry this along. The bellmen were true gentleman with my luggage and opening doors and wishing me a wonderful stay.Had to get some extra assistance soon after because I spotted a cockroach in the room, ON THE BED! I’ll be honest and admit that I have a huge phobia for bugs especially indoors (that shouldn’t be inside a $1200 weekend stay hotel!) so this was not only disgusting but scary for me.The hotel did move my room (because let’s face it, they had to) and advised that they were “upgrading me” as a compliment. I moved up 3 flights from my original room LITERALLY, and had the same view. After many of detailed conversations, I was advised that switching my room and giving me a $100 credit on my account, is “all they could do”. It’s never “all you can do” for a million dollar company but of course that’s how they treat visitors.Stay at The Palms in Miami at your own risk!!! I know I’ll never do business there again. CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE YOUR PRIORITY and only the concierge staff seem to care
Negative: Banging noise every 10 min or so I side hvac Had to switch rooms and was put next to housekeeping which woke me up at 6:30 Expensive
The property was great. The best thing about it was the beach access with the availability of the chairs and the umbrellas. The only complaint is that some of the staff were not accommodating. The beach servers never asked us if we would like anything, we had to walk to the bar ourselves and the doormen did not help with the bags, both when we were getting in and out of the car. Other than that everything was great!
Absolutely perfect!Perfect location at South Beach !Nice area to enjoy the sun & the beach !The view from the rooms is just amazing !The restaurants are cozy & the food is great. The breakfast is crazy! The service at the hotel is so adorable !I would advise this hotel to everyone! It is perfect!!
This is a lovely hotel with a friendly staff. The room itself is my major complaint. We stayed in an ocean front, superior king, which is certainly not the cheapest room. The room lacks a balcony or even a window that opens, which was very disappointing. The bathroom is very strange, with the toilet in one room and the shower in another. Additionally, the toilet is close to the bed with very little sound insulation. This is not the room you want for a romantic get-away. I also hate the toilet, which has a built-in sink. The idea is you wash your hands in the water that fills your toilet. Also, the temperature in the room never dropped below 71, despite what you set the thermostat at. I like to sleep in a temperature below that, especially on vacation. We visit Miami several times each year. This just isn’t the place for us. We have has better experiences in other comparably priced hotels.
I came all the way from LAX to stay at this hotel, and I did not get a room. I have booked prior to my arrival, and the hotel manager mentions that the hotel policy does not allow you stay at this hotel. I am currently in Miami and have no place to go since all the other hotels are full because of spring break.
