I wouldn’t recommend to stay here. I would recommend to myself possibly in the future. This place is just too touristy. Like the entire setup is just something. Like something bothersome. Definitely the rooms are very small. It’s just there way too many options around with for bringing dogs. This place would probably only be beneficial if your bringing dogs. The Welcome food & drink store in the lower lobby is absolutely atrocious. While I visited the employee broke a 100$ for a customer in front of me when they didn’t have change. Hence why when I work a register I don’t do that. I need change for the other customers lol! Obviously I manage. They refused to allow me to pay cash for 3/4 things because he only had 1 $5 bill left and yelled at us saying nothing free. Like I’m suppose to offer 10$ additional to buy products in his store. A young woman was complaining he sold alcohol to her underage daughter as well. I also noticed numerous health code violation during covid season. Will not ever be back but to smh which is literally what I do each time I walk past to the pool.
It shouldnt get any stars because there was no telephones in the room the sink and toilet toilet ran all night hair dryer did not work they had a Brita water filter container in the refrigerator to use. I opened it up and there was mold around the inside of the lid. I woke up with a sore back from a very uncomfortable bad bed. There was no self parking all valet if you left something in your car you could not go into the parking garage to get it they said that parking was free with the price of your room but they still charge an extra $64 when asked what that was for they say parking and other stuff in the hotel big sham. Every room door had a different type of Locking System. Terrible place. Also there was no washcloth and the soap smell terrible and couldnt get the TV to work correctly..
One of the worst rooms I ever stayed in. Was not clean, the bathroom looked like a dirty public bathroom, and the hotel description was not accurate at all. I was very disappointed!
The experience was very bad I asked for an upgrade and when I looked at the room it was a totally disaster the bed wasnt made it was food on the table and I asked them how long will it take for them to clean the room they told me there was no room service for the rest of the day
Very nice rooms equipped with refrigerator and microwave. The pool was also very nice
Well, it seems that this place consists of multiple managements, like crystal beach, Design suites, etc. The room I rented was from DS, the best thing was the Ocean View and free access to the beach. Everything else was not good, pool furniture, the door balcony was really hard to open/close, quality for the whole room was below poor. Everything was old dated and poorly maintained. Valet service was just Ok. Not good place for a family. Not recommended.
View is amazing. Room is good. Pool area is nice and direct access to the beach! Security are definitely mask nazis. Other staff is friendly and valets are fairly quick and courteous.
My room was disgusting, extremely outdated. Bathroom is awful. Looks like ceramic tiles have not been updated in a while. Paint is chipping through out. Small closet does not even have a rod to hang clothes. Kitchen cabinets are ready to fall. Extremely uncomfortable to even gent into the room. You have to close Main door so you can get into the smallest kitchen. Water does not drain properly. They really dont take good care of this room. In addition, commercial vehicles are not allowed to park on premises. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL. You must park on the street overnight. Parking staff does not care. BE AWARE THEY CHARGE YOU EXTRA $30 PLUS DOLLARS PER NIGHT. (ON TOP OF REGULAR RATE). Check out is at 10 AM. Ive never been in a hotel that checks out at 10 AM. PLUS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA $22 FOR ONE ADDITIONAL HOUR. (on top of regular rate) I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. ( Too bad Google does not offer less than one star. Because they deserve it. Long line of cars just to check in or arrive. Please see pictures.
Found a good deal on the penthouse suite and we stayed for 12 days. They are in the process of remodeling and the building does show some of the aging signs. They basically take responsibility at the front desk for none of the issues with the apartment . The valet parking is hit and miss with how good the service. I would definitely stay here again though for the pool and easy access to the beach.
It was pretty alright. Could have been nice. Staff were decent as well. I wouldn’t return here again. Just left disappointed
My first time staying in Sunny Isles, and I had a awesom time with my family. We were picnicking on the beach, rented a hut, and jet skied, which was very exciting and scary too, we checked out the restaurants and at night well that was my favorite part it was enchanting on every level especially because we had the balcony. Seeing is believing thanks Daniel for making our stay there unforgettable
Really nice..but im a local, and I would like to see more deals or discounts for us..because well love spending our money in our vacation state we live in & love, its Florida.
The worst hotel I have EVER been in. I booked on Airbnb, and this place was overpriced even on that. Rooms were disgusting, staff was rude and one kept following us, and everything was overpriced. $9 for dollar tree sunscreen, no ice machines, and the pool times changed every day. Valet is extremely slow, so have fun waiting 30+ minutes for your car. Location was trash except for the beach access. $250 deposit if you don’t book through Airbnb. NEVER staying here again.
This place is affordable for the location...with nice staffing..but the wee smells all the time everywhere, no way for kids.
Ill just say that the crowd of people who comes there are friendly and like to enjoy themselves
The room was a little dirty but amazing view of the ocean!
Positive: Location Negative: Beds, service, fees
Positive: Over looking the ocean Negative: No washcloths
The home and host were excellent, will definitely going back as soon as possible
This hotel is over priced to begin with. The rooms are so 80s ...chipped and missing paint...wals are in need of fresh paint. The entire floor upon arrival smelled of weed. We had to wait in the lobby for several hours for our room to be cleaned . upon entering our room we could write our name in the dust every where. The toaster had crumbs all over the counter and the fridge was disguisting. Save yourself the head ache this place is actually a dump on the beach and you have so many other options. Pick one just skip this one
Not all employees wear masks. Administration does not have employees enforcing covid guidelines. Did not feel safe at all in this place.
The hotel was just okay. It was mostly clean with the exception of the bathroom door and shower. The mattress was dreadful. The beach access was great. The pool closed at sunset (unreasonably early) and staff was rude about ejecting guests from the pool area. With the taxes and resort fees this was not a good value. Find another hotel if you can closer to south beach. There was nothing remotely close to this hotel. The beach access was nice and that was the best part of this experience.
Very nice hotel. Impecable valet. Great location right in Miami Beach.
The pictures on their website are clearly old ones, their name isnt even outside the building!! It has the correct address but a different name. There are multiple businesses in the building. The bathroom on the main level from the lobby had ants in it, very, very dated falling apart!!! McDonalds bathroom is much nicer! There is a small little convenient store on the lower level where the owner was super nice and was very helpful!! The beach is nice, those pictures are real!! The little bar next to the pool is also very dated, and not friendly! We stood under their roof while it rained, and not one of the 3 workers said a word to us!! They have security on site, and they were very friendly and helpful unlike the front desk....I expected MUCH MORE for a Design Suites.... They have a restaurant on site, and the lady out front was rude and told us no luggage inside!!! For 2 to eat our bill was over $100, and we had just a basic meal. The window inside the restaurant was so dirty, it took away from the limited view. I would not recommend this place at all!!
Highly underrated part of the beach. No one ever goes here except sundays.
Rude staff rooms are so bad conditions they dont change ur towels every day bad experience
Not even close. I dont know if its the hotel or the airb&b. The room is falling apart with very little maintenance. uncomfortable beds, pillows, not enough drawers or closet space.Disappointing to say the least.
Well located in Miami Beach! Close enough and far enough of the South Beach Life and you can get a decent apartment for a reasonable price. The hotel is really clean and the pool area is very enjoyable.
Graet place for vacations and one of my favorite spot for beach.
Here are some pictures of how my room was when I arrived, the walls were dirty, the room was making wierd noises from the ac and there was roaches. As soon as I walked in, I walked out, I did not spend the night. This room did not meet my expectations nor the standards for me as described. It was not clean at all, very nasty, I would not able to sleep comfortably that is why I left as soon as I got there and this is why Iam in the process for a refund, Also they charged the room before I even checked in.Clearly the pictures online are outdated. Trust me dont come here.
I would give it a zero if I could. The worst most disgusting place I have been too. My husband and I work a lot and the first time we have a weekend get away in over 2 years. We come here and no one is helpful. Room is disgusting and no manager on site to help with anything. The only one there is security and they are just as worthless. I’d say do not waste your money or time. We drive 6 hrs to this hotel. Straight trash.
This was more like a resort than a hotel. Great restaurant on property that delivers the most delicious food. Happy hour 2 for 1 M - T.Most importantly, the affordable two story penthouse with the spectacular view of the beach was spacious but could use some cosmetic upgrades.Great Valet parking and security at the entrance 24/7.
When we arrived at the first room smelled soooo bad and you cannot open the window or you will be charged!!!We changed the room you have to try to open the door about 15 times the 16 will be openedNo mirror in the roomThe service is -5/5 so bad they treat you like you work for themIf there is -5 star i will do this
Nice I love my view
Main issues:Entire room was dirty and smelled. The water in the shower did not heat up it was luke warm at best. The key to the door wouldn work at times so expect 5 or more attempts to get in ur room. The parking is free but u must use valet that takes about 20 mins to park your car and 20 mins to get you car. Only pro is the beach&pool and pool bar. Maybe it was the specific room 1603 but honestly Everything else was a disaster and I will never stay here again. Way better options in Miami
Very clean nice hotel. Bus stop outside. Nice beach. Would definitely come back
Positive: The location was great, very few people on the direct access beach, valet service was included at no additional charge, the view from the room (the ocean) was amazing, and the elevators were very unique. Negative: We complained about toilet for a WEEK, and finally a new floater was put in Friday. Only about half the lights in the room worked. Some of the tiles were broken, and had to buy coffee daily. The room needed UPDATING! Front desk only there 9 to 5!
Very Artistic & Boujee Place! Beautiful!
The view was the only plus. This is older than pictured and the room was dorm room type (super small). Chairs on the balcony rusted and hard. Check in sucked as they tried to charge for all kinds of xtra fees. Had to get Manager involved so it took a long time to check in. The room stunk of a heavy chemical smell each morning (bug spray). Just keep an eye on your bill as I had to get these incorrect charges corrected. They even charge to hold your bag while waiting to go to the airport.
Liked the room and lounge. Pool is very old. Check in took a long time, not clear where to go. After check in, to security... took also long time. Valet parking is good.
I wish I could give zero, even negative . This place was disgusting and a health hazard. We tried to get in touch with Soliel apartment management after hours and Saturday morning, but went straight to voicemail. We also went to hotel security, but they were also unable to get in touch with management. We end up scrambling to get a room at another hotel 1 in the morning because our whole party was getting sick due to mold in the air. Also, we didnt feel comfortable sleeping there once we realized the condition of the apartment. We had to contact the booking site for assistance, I guess they were able to get Managements attention. We were issued a full refund, but our first night in Miami was a nightmare.
Horrible customer service. Made res.. drove across country.. never told us they cancelled the reservation until we got there with nowhere to go. Its ok found an awesome hotel.. not here.
Check in clerk seemed like she didnt like her job.very unfriendly. The whole check in process was unacceptable. You have to unpack all luggage outside of main door no baggage courts until you get luggage up for steps to door. Once you get key then you have to go to security to turn in car info to have car parked. But room was extremely clean and great view of ocean.Check out was everyone waiting on there car. 20 min wait. Not a good experience for the price.
Broken beds and dirty restroom.Hell never come again
Your first visit will keep you coming back every year
Great location. The hotel is a little dated
Has no self parking on site. is either valet or park a few blocks away.
The ocean view was breathtaking and the size of the room was great . There was insufficient staff at the front desk and it took 30 minutes to check in. There are no beach chairs but the staff provide a singular towel per person. There is mold and the previous guests hair on the bathroom walls in-room 1026. The bed with firm but not comfortable.
I loved the View! I think that’s basically what I paid for. I totally disliked that the faucet in the bathtub had a continued flow of water even when it was turned all the way off. Since it was a continuous flow of water there was a huge water stain in the tub. Why would they rent a room like that? The valet was a lil rude as well it was all about the money when it came to valet
Horrible the pictures show that it was a beautiful room but it had dirty walls the bathroom was gross the pool omg smh never again
Clean rooms with a great view and friendly hotel staff. The only downside is the stores and amenities including valet are not part of the hotel and although most were friendly, no one can answer any questions about anything that has to do with the hotel. That and there are no wheelchair or stroller accessible way to enter the hotel. Other than that being said I would reccomend this hotel to a friend and would stay again.
This place needs a lot of repair work. You cant control your room temperature at all per the staff. It looks like they had a LOT of water damage at some point and the plumbing system still needs a lot of work. There are plenty of lights but some electrical outlets dont work. The hotel hallways look straight out of The Shining. There are no places in the bathroom to hang a hand towel. The single redeeming quality is the ocean view from the room and the beach access.
It was a very bad stay, the room is not that good, the bathroom needs some improvements like the shower and the toilet. The people who work in the building are very polite and do not treat people well. The vallet service is horrible, the staff were very rude to us and the security guards too. Terrible attendance, I had a problem with the room card that was not opening the door, it took almost 1 hour for someone to help me because the front desk was closed at 5pm and the security guard did not want to help us, they were all very rude. I was wet because the beach and the pool, I needed to take a shower and took some rest and I couldnt enter in my room, it was really disrespectful for us. I dont recommend this place and I will never stay again. Bad experience.
Ok for the money, rooms are not very clean and are very small. This hotel has a odd small inside rooms. Great service and parking
Very terrible would not recommend no one to go there room service stops at 3:00
The property was close to Ocean and had a pool as well. The view from the room was nice especially at night. The property is undergoing renovations and i guess our room was not one that had been renovated. The bathroom was sub par with need of an overhaul and the furniture was well worn. The property also charges to store luggage if you are waiting for your transport to airport.
We had a room with a great balcony ocean view! 1727... This was a huge savior to our stay... There was 5 of us and enough room but very limited towels and pillows for a weeks stay...the room was clean but dingy at the same time. Definitely could use some upgrades. The pool is salt water and huge and had plenty of lounge chairs! The down side was they gave the kids a hard time using floats which they sell in their stores. The bar was nice and accessible from the pool area and had good munchies. The hot tub is not in working condition and apparently has not been for 3 years so Im not sure what the plans are there.
Had to cancel due to pandemic. Did nothing about getting me a refund. I reached out multiple times. So sad. World is in pandemic and they dnt care.
Nice view, good service. Cant wait to book with them again
Roaches. Outdated plumbing which resulted in loud dripping and flooding. Indifferent front desk staff. Elevator takes forever to finally reach your floor and then it may be stuffed with people. Hallway had very loud water remediation fans running 24/7. This whole needs to be torn down and rebuilt.Easy beach access. Clean and somewhat newer linens. Valet-only parking - just be prepared to wait because they make security go through a long process of hand-writing redundant information on their forms. 10AM checkout.
We walked into the motel room, and it appeared as though it became by no means even wiped clean. There was others hair ties and bracelets scattered all through the area. The room changed into so warm due to the fact the A/C did not work. The most effective good issue about this region with the pool. The valet was top notch slow.
Surprise RESORT fee! Room 927 was spectacular views of ocean /beach and clean valet too busy texting to help. Check in slow n little English and slow confusing process.
Everything is good at hotel. The only thing that I didnt like is that they charge for electronic key if you lose it.Which hotel charges for electronic keys? I was not aware of this policy and directly checked out and they charged me $5 for each key.Apart from this experience, the hotel is nice. No any other issues.
This is a very good hotel with great location right by Miami Beach. I can really recommend this place:)
I used a booking website and the host is L&D Vacation Rentals. My room was advertised as having a patio. Upon check in, there is no patio. After calling and leaving a voicemail as well as sending an email, I’ve not heard from the host. It’s a busy weekend in Miami and i don’t have another place to stay, so I’m stuck here. The room itself is also not as advertised. I feel scammed. The studio room has a low ceiling and shelving attached to the walls. It feels as if you’re on a boat with the layout. The ocean view, while it’s there, I also have a grand view of the concrete side of part of the building and a rooftop below that’s connected to the building. So I’m unable to see the shoreline or sand. I didn’t realize while booking that the host was not the building owner. There are a few different Company hosts for this building and I feel that’s why the rooms lack the quality. I’m disappointed that I didn’t receive what I thought I had paid for. The least they could do is advertise what the room actually looks like.
Good location, Free valet parking and easy access to beach. One crazy thing I didn’t like is bed mattresses, it might be old one that made crazy noises. We couldn’t had sound sleep. Please replace or maintain bed mattress for room no. 706
Crazy parking but beautiful didnt get the chance to stay.
Condescending, haughty staff. You’re practically strip-searched if you dare to want a luggage cart, no one even tries to speak English, no maid service nor did I ever see an actual maid the whole three days we were there, the TV sucked, absolutely no water pressure unless you want a cold shower, they apparently have a no washcloths policy, they chronically remind you how you will be monetarily sanctioned if the balcony door is left open/ the AC is turned off/ a towel thread goes missing (/s), no ice unless you buy a huge $4 bag in the “gift shop”, a coffeemaker in the room but no coffee, the AC dripped condensation all over the linoleum floor (wheee!), the AC fan was as loud as a monster truck, the toilet leaked, the veneer was peeling off all of the kitchen cabinets, were given a whopping 4 hangers in the closet; no airport shuttle like they claimed, no ramp to wheel your luggage into the hotel (awkward!), and the icing? Teeny tiny spiders all over every surface in the kitchen and bath. All for only $370/night! AVOID unless you hate comfort and can’t have nice things.
Love it! The rooms are clean, there are no problems with the rooms and the view is amazing! The only problem I can mainly point out is that the pool should be cleaned! There was just trash everywhere and there are a lack of outlets.
Valet parking system is weirdyou gotta make a round trip from valet manager -> receptionist -> building security -> valet managercheckout is too earlyamenities in room are very basicgood things are view, pool and beach
Horrible experience, could not check-in to the room, Design Suites gave a wrong door code and disappeared without any help. I was stranded.
I liked the fact that there was easy beach access. I didnt like that my room seemed grungy, for lack of a better word. Room is white, but there were black marks everywhere.. bathroom shower curtain was stained at bottom.. toilet flusher appeared broken but worked ok
Room was okay. Youre paying for location! Pool area was great! Crew was out before sunrise, cleaning and prepping the pool deck for guests! Great job!
We had the best experience at the hotel. Everything was better than we expected, the service was great and the staff is excellent. But the highlight of the place was Whitney, the manager, she goes above and beyond, she does whatever it takes to make your stay the most pleasant time.
The most discussing hotel I have ever stayed at in my life - nothing works - air condition was noisy like a train The ONLY good thing in this property is the staff
I stayed in one of the pent houses on the top floor, everything was perfect besides a small crack in the window. I can’t blame the (friendly btw) staff for that because my suit was booked months in advance and it probably wasn’t reported by the people who actually did that. Kitchen area was nice and compact, great pool area and very easy access to the beach
Turkish Russian bath is the best spot in Miami.
Horrible valet.... I had my phone stolen in the valet line and they couldn’t even help. On top of that we had money and other personal belongings taken from our room. Nobody with security could help by using cameras and basically just told me to find it. I will never recommend this place again. Stay anywhere else on Collins Ave.
This place is fancy cute.
Good stay for the price. A little run down and old. Very dated property, however the views were outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach.
We had a good stay in this hotel. Great view, clean bedroom and good services. Rene, the manager, was so nice and so helpful! I would definitely come !!!
I had a problem in the check in my room was not ready and after 1h i took another. They had design suits and another administration for the same construction. So part is a hotel part is not. Saw a person complaining about his car that was wrecked. To avoid ppl in my room I keep the do not disturb sign in the door. So cant complain once they was not here.To me is not good but is not bad. Is an option.
At the times we in with this Covid19 thing there open 24hrs
Property is great - but the front desk didn’t inform us about all the things going on- no housecleaning - saying the reservation was on line? 8 days with no housecleaning is unacceptable .
Confortables rooms, beautiful designs, big pool but the costumers service it’s really poor. I stayed for two nights and I didn’t recibe the housekeeping service but, the most hilarious was that in the from desk they charge me charge me 57 dollars for maintenance when I check in but I never received the (housekeeping)service. Moreover most of their employers had actitud with the costumers, especial in the from desk and some one in then restaurants. (The food in the restaurants is yum )The valet parking it’s really good. They were always really friendly and had a smile to the costumers.
An absolute gem of a hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Free valet parking was the icing on the cake.
One of the worst places to stay. Ceiling was leaking from air conditioning. Bathroom flush was broken. If you call front desk, they pick up the phone and put you right away on hold and never come back to you. Stay away from this place. Rude front desk people. Valet parking takes 39 mins to check in and 30 mins to check out. Very poor room maintanence. Most of the hotel employees don’t know any English.
We had an wonderful stay there. The view of the Atlantic is majestic from the 10th floor.
Amazing experience! Great studio @ the beach and affordable prices. Recommended and I will return soon
Good reception, free valet parking is great, Rooms nice and clean. Access to beach easy, Swimming pool not the best though (small, gets crowded)! Overall, great place for a nice short visit!
Good, not great ... Definitely can improve.. the pictures and the actual place dont really match ...BUT if you going to just be in the room is not the place, but a place to sleep because you going on vacation and you gonna be out and about ... This is it, it close to a lot of places in miami, beautiful sights, I was in the 16th floor, and I love the view. I was not a fan of the $102 for a towel ( after I booked my room there was a extra charge for the resort accomodations, pool, towels, access to the beach I guess) I used it once, I mean ask before you charge this . Anyways I had a good experience, I like it enough to go back in the future
To be honest, is not a place where I will go back, the building is old and it has a strange smell inside. About the room, wasnt so clean, but the view was awesome (I booked a room with ocean view).+ they have a large poolyou can go directly to the beach from the poolnice view (if you choose the ocean view apartment)- the building is oldstrange smell insidenot so cleanOverall, I can recommend this just for the view.
They have the greatest little shop. On the lower level that has bathing suits and all kinds of souvenirs. Dont miss it. I think its called Ocean bri shop.
VERY CLEAN! However, This place need #Hotelimpossible. No clears signs to inform you of anything.
We stayed at the Airbnb hosted by Shane and Maru and it was by far the best trip weve had! Highly recommend! Super clean and comfortable not to mention the amazing view. Right on the beach.
Very nice and relaxing environment
Positive: Location was awesome, great pool and right on the beach! Negative: Restaurant opens late, (8:30 am) buy ground coffee in advance, theres a coffee pot but no coffee, filters, cream, sugar.
Even though I called 2 times to verify our reservations, we were told we had none! We prepaid through AAA at a cost of just under $300 for 1 night. After 45 minutes of trying to check in, they decided we did have a reservation. It wasn’t the room we paid for with the beach view, it did come with bugs, dirty bedding, and mold throughout the bathroom . To top it off, we ate at the restaurant. 2 cheeseburgers, fries, 1 coke, and a beer. The bill came to $61! wth! So discussed- please tear it down!
