Awesome park! Close to the highway in some parts but its still nice. Mountain bike trails and nice hiking. Lots of going up hill lol. Interesting place. Well maintained.

Great, well maintained park for BOTH Mountain Biking and a hike. Badger joins with two other parks (nature preserves) to the South so can get a good walk or hike in and be prepared, its not level. It was a large Golf Club so paths are the old cart paths. I love how the well developed bike trail winds thru the woods without interfering with walking path. Also has a large section of jumps & ramps (BMX?) at center if like that. Mountain Bike trails are well developed and maintained, challenging and fun but not too crazy. I rode for 1st time in 3 years...KEY learning, turn RIGHT at first fork in woods or go up crazy incline trail extension along Ridgewood Rd that is not for an old novice rider! And seems rarely used.

Beautiful park with many points of interest. Wonderful job converting a former golf course to a public park. A great Spring day made everything perfect. But, I have to admit, this park will put your endurance to the test. If it wasnt for the paved paths, biking, for me, would have been too much. Definitely would love to come again, but ... for a hike! And, then to reward my successful efforts, a nice stop at Spokes to refresh and recharge.

Well maintained single track bicycle trails. Lots of steep climbs and technical trails. Not for beginner rider. Pump track. Paved hiking paths but very steep climbing. Watch for speeding bicycles at every turn. Nice parking lot with flushing toilets.

Love this park. Great for running and of course mountain biking. The only negative is they never clear the pathways during this fall time, and those leaves on the trail are dangerous with the wetness.

Austin Badger is quickly becoming my favorite park in Medina! This park is not for the faint of heart. It offers some steep and curvy walking paths along side a developing mountain bike trail system. The mountain bike trails offer everything from single track and they have recently built up a tandem race course along side a new pump track. The offer everything from someone just starting to the most experienced in the dirt jump section. This place has a lot to be enjoyed!

Fun place for mountain biking! There are about 4 miles of mtb trails, a pump track and dual race track. There is about 7 miles of paved concrete walking path. There is also a unique coffee shop on the premises but it is unfortunately closed due to Covid right now.

Beautiful trail with bridges, landscaping, and creeks. Very hilly and steep inclines at times. Walking trails are paved and well kept. In the winter wear proper footwear, snow on the inclines get slippery. Our dogs loved it.

What great hiking trails and MTB trails. MTB track was closed due to mud & wetness. Thoughtful of management to preserve trails. Looks to be challenging. Area for a bmx style track/course being built. Trail head has Spokes cafe and other side of I-71 connects to Blue Heron clubhouse and banquet building. Beautiful Ohio wildlife and scenery. Trails are not flat. Good undulation for a more moderately challenging walk, run or ride. Saved on my google map.

This is a fantastic little park with great walking and mountain bike trails that are challenging. This is not your place for a casual flat walk or run. I use the paths for run training and they are quite fun with quick elevation changes. The views are outstanding and the addition of some exercise stops along the way are a nice touch. The bike service and wash off area near the park entrance is awesome. If you like to walk, run, or bike and enjoy a challenge, this is the place for you and your pets as well.

Austin badger has both single track and paved cart paths (used to be a golf course) that are a great place to ride your mountain bike. The cart paths have been a great way to get some rolling miles with elevation/climbing early in the season and when the trails are saturated -- which has been most of 2019 with all this rain.

A more wild and unkempt aesthetic than most parks. Scattered athletic equipment provide a little entertainment/utility beyond just walking.Theres also off-road paths for biking, and Ive personally seen quite a few cyclists on the trails themselves. The trails actually link up to a longer chain of trails running through three parks. There is plenty of distance to walk/run/cycle without backtracking.Never actually been in any buildings at this park, so I cant make any statement about them.Overall. Good park. I come here as one of my personal favorites in the area.

There is a little cafe sponsored by cool beans at the head of the park that it perfect for pre or post workout! It also doubles as a great place to relax and study or work with nature at your back. 4 stars for the bike trail & the coffee shop, Spokes, being closed, but it was a Sunday. I loved the fact there is a bike wash, repair area and an on-site coffee shop. I cant speak on the trails I didnt get to go on. I would say there is good photography spots from the area I did see.

Beautiful walking trail (at least the 1 that I was on) it was completely paved/concrete. Which was nice with all of the rain we have had lately. My only complaint my be that the grade was a little steep. My wife complained about it hurting her knees. I will be anxious to go back and walk the other trail.

Great park for getting in a hike on paved trails with exercise equipment throughout the trails. Railroad bridge, variety of trees/foliage and creek make for interesting scenery. Offroad bike trails including a decent sized obstacle/jump area which has been carved out for the BMX style enthusiasts is a unique attribute of this park. There is a snack shop and bathroom facility as well.

I went for the MTB trail. It is fairly short at about 3.5 miles, but there is a lot packed into it. Fun jumps, banked turns, lots of climbing, sunny sections, wooded sections, and a bike wash in the parking lot. There is also a small café there but it wasnt open when I was there.

Absolutely LOVE this park! It’s surprisingly big and well-maintained. Very hilly area with a lot to explore. The only drawback is being right beside 71-N, so there is highway noise, but it honestly doesn’t bother me as much as I would’ve expected—It’s noticeable, but the park is so nice that it’s easy to get lost in the experience and forget about it while you’re enjoying your time there.

This place is great. The walking trails are concrete and clean. The big loop is about 2 miles long and has a bunch of small to mid sized hills to keep things interesting. If 2 miles is too much for you, you can do the small loop which, I believe, is just shy of a mile. They are adding on to the trails so eventually there will be even longer trails/loops.The fitness stations are awesome. You can get a full body workout at this place without a gym membership.I walk here with my dog every day and she loves it. The park requires you to keep your dog on a leash and everyone respects that rule. There is also a creek that my dog loves to swim in after our walk to cool down. This park also has mountain bike trails. I havent been on those yet but Ive heard they are great.Lastly, there is a cafe opening up at the entrance of the park so you will be able to grab a coffee after your walk. The only negative is that there is only 1 garbage can and its at the entrance for the trails. So when my dog poops in the middle of the trail, I have to walk a mile or more holding her poop in a bag. I wish they would add a few more cans along the trails.

Nice paved walking path that also connects to the Blue Heron Park. for those that like to bike there is a nice series of MX Trails plus a wash station available to rinse your bike off after youre done riding. plus theres a small Cafe there where you can get something to drink or an ice cream after youre done riding or walking. Plus bonuses is that along several spots on the trail there are workout stations and exercise equipment.

Very fun mountain biking trail thats good for any level. Cross country trail has a lot of potential but would definitely be the most fun on something like a jump bike that would corner better and pick up speed faster, as it was alittle hard for me to pick up enough speed in alot of areas to get any air. Theres a jump track outside of the cross country course too

Partially improved Park snugged into Montville township. Trails are partially improved (concrete) for walkers/joggers/bicycles, with exercise equipment spread through its length. Unimproved trails are for bicyclists. Theres a lot more trail length than expected, and as its abutted against I-71, its a bit noisier than Id prefer. No bathrooms. No play equipment. Parking lot is improved. Improved indoor/outdoor pavilion in progress.
