What a dream. Love this place. A great find
Port o potty close to the entrance we came in, good things for kids or the hydrated. Delightful fire pit area for gathering, with a bench to chill. Enjoyed the trails. Good glute and leg work out on the way back up with the incline. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and be prepared that there are uphill battles for the novice. Had fun & felt the burn.
Never knew it was in medina cool place great walk beautiful natural
We love walking here. It gives us the opportunity to really soak in nature. Its just the right length to where we are not feeling wore out walking the entire trail. The trails in this preserve are maintained for the most part. Theyre kept trimmed so that we arent getting snagged by the sticker bushes and such. I only wish they would pull gravel from the creek beds more often to avoid the softened, sunken, muddy spots all along the trails. We do appreciate the benched throughout. Our children get tired from time to time, and these benches have provided them a resting spot. These trails are some what stroller friendly. There are places where tree roots protrude from the ground (just makes for a bumpy ride for our toddler). There are no restrooms on these trails, so make sure youve gone before walking. Many of the times we have gone, people have actually been riding their bikes on this trail (even though there is signage saying they are not allowed). In all, it is a great place to enjoy nature and get some exercise with the family.
Very clean and quiet. Nice place to walk your dog.
Super easy hike. Great for young hikers. Hiked both trails in just over an hour.
Love is all I can say
Beautiful place to hike. Saw a couple of turkey vultures in a dead tree. Had to move off trail so a family on bikes could get by. The signis clearly visible.
Great trails!
Quiet. Peaceful.
First time there today. what a great trail to walk and the scenery was awesome! will be back for sure.
Nicely trails but not many land features. Just a peaceful walk through the wood.
Night hike and no bugs!!
It is pretty and rustic - dirt trails with plenty of mud in spring. Solitude and wildlife abound, and its nice to connect to the facilities and extra trail length in Buckeye Lake Park. Some of the bridges were slippery; chicken wire covering might help.
Love the trails. Its a very nice nature walk. My kids liked catching and letting go frogs!
Nice place to get back to nature
Beautiful scenery and a great place to walk.
Beautiful hiking trails through the woods. Both loops (one longer, and cut-through shorter) are dirt, so be aware of the potential for muddy terrain. No bikes allowed, only walking/running.
Its a good place to park your vehicle if you need to consolidate from multiple vehicles to one.
I like spooky looking forests check it out
One of the prettiest parks around.
Beautiful, peaceful, clean and relaxing
