I love this park. Its beautiful. Lots of different trails to walk, run, ride. Beautiful flowers, trees, water. There are a few playgrounds, soccer and baseball fields. Lots of room to have picnics.

Love this park, has a fishing pond, asphalt paths, trails in the woods and a limestone trail. There is something for everyone.

Well kept trails that were easy.

I had never been here before today and I feel like Ive been missing out!!! The views are unbelievable! The trail is all very flat and mainly gravel. We did about 3 miles altogether but didnt finish the entire trail. It has options to go left or right several times and we only did the one way! Cant wait to back again

Great place for a hike and you take the kids fishing and there are play areas for them also.

Went there for a youth soccer game. One field had a hole in it, so we moved over, and were slightly encroached on by the nature around us, but there were open and relatively clean pit toilets right next to the field, so we counted it as a win on location!

Beautiful and quiet park with a nice running trail along the inlet. A couple of playgrounds and a nice pond are also highlights for families.

Nice paved trail. Plenty of parking. Mostly meadow land & woods. One area has soccer fields. Very clean. This was our second visit there.

We love taking our children here to play and walk the paths. The only thing that Im not particular about is all the bikes that people ride on these paths. I can understand when they say left or right (meaning thats the side theyre riding on), but my smaller children do not.I like the pond here. My children enjoy seeing the fish come to the surface. One day they will fish here. It is very well maintained. No litter, paths are clear of debri, restrooms are almost always clean (like a permanent porta potty), grass/fields are always well kept.

We visited Buckey Woods park as part of the Medina Fall Tour and had a great time. There were some great craft tents and displays of food to sample as part of Pioneers in the Park.The lunch selections were reasonably priced with a good selection. Everything was delicious! There were games for kids and adults. The grounds and restrooms were well maintained and there was something for everyone. Cant wait to visit again!

Nice park - pond has bass, sunfish, catfish and trouts. Great trail and bike paths.

Nice park in Medina County with a small lake for fishing, playground equipment for the kids to play on, some paved and gravel walking trails as well as some sports fields. There are picnic pavilions and grills at a couple different spots in the park. Overall it is a nice place to bring the kids.

I love walking in Buckeye Woods. The birds, trees and flowers are so pretty. Good place to walk your dog.

Beautiful park area! Super quiet and peaceful! Love watching my daughter play soccer here, letting my son play on the playground equipment, taking walks, etc.I just wish the rude slobs who use the playground/pavilion area would stop leaving trash/empty drink bottles everywhere. Just laaaaazy, there are garbage cans...

Very nice park, and Clean!!

It has a really good variety of trails. Long, short, paved, not. Beautiful year round views as well. The only thing missing is elevation change on the trails, but sometimes flat is what you want.

Went to Pioneers in the Park.. a fun day filled with music, varied food, crafts and craftsmen... a taste of the past. Ample parking, the Park Rangers were very nice, esp Ranger Swinehart! Open on Sunday as well...

Well maintained park - great for bicycling walking, silent yogging, exercise and paved trails smooth enough for the kids to ride scooters on. Two playgrounds that are large and clean surrounded by forest - overall beautiful park.

Great place for a walk or run! Play areas for kids, a shelter and grills. Ball fields. Several well placed restrooms. Lots of nice benches for resting or watching birds!

The four state parks I have visited are beautiful and groomed well. They do not however allow drones--more accurately and importantly, even licensed drone pilots arent allowed to photograph utilizing these special platforms. I suspect this will change eventually.

Expansive trails and many sights to see at all times of the year. Wildlife is abundant and friendly but must not be disturbed. Also has a playground area at the front entrance.

Great trails - we enjoyed biking them so much that when we were done we put our bikes in the car and went back for a walk!

A lot of community activity, wonderful nature trails, good for bicycling, fishing, etc.. All around solid park, definitely worth a visit.

Lots of beautiful trails for walking, running or biking. Its very clean, well maintained, dog friendly, family oriented and always feels safe.

Sports and wetlands park on the southwest side of Medina. South entrance includes soccer fields, a kiddie park, and activities pavilion. North entrance boasts a wetland trail loop. Trails are improved throughout.

Pioneer in the park was good today had fun

Wonderful park for walking, biking, running or just relaxing while the kids play. More than enough trails for all of the above, in a mix of asphalt paved and well-packed small gravel. Nice little pond if you like to fish, or just to look at the water. Connects via trails to the inlet on Chippewa rd, the Shleman preserve further west on 162, and the wetland loop off Lafayette.

Always a great visit! Free fishing, great for walking or biking, open field for kites, and a playground.

Some days I wish I didnt move to Akron because I used to come here daily. great for Pokemon or just taking a long walk on mostly paved trails. also good for running. if you go early enough no one is even here. I love buckeye woods

Lots of trees, definitely what a park needs to be a park. Nice trails, and a very pretty bridge. Definitely check it out.

A good park. We go walking here often. Keep in mind, most of the trails are earthen and may be muddy after a heavy rain.

Has some great running trails.

We take the kids to fish and play here - the kids especially enjoy the jungle gym. Its a great venue with a pavilion for parties. Here, you can play ball on a decent field, setup a volleyball court, catch fish out of their stocked pond, hike, jog, or just photograph the gorgeous landscape.

Lots of things to do at Buckeye Woods Park there are Pavilions, three baseball fields, two different playgrounds, and a lovely Pond to walk around. plenty of walking paths plus it also intersects with the schleman Nature Reserve. There are several restroom facilities there but no running water.

Pond needs stocked more. Great place for a family trip.

Buckeye Woods Park has something for everyone. Multiple hiking trails, fishing, restrooms, playgrounds, etc. It is the largest park in the Medina County Park District. I am a trail monitor for the Park District and it is my favorite. They have a pavilion with picnic tables and electric outlets and grills that you can reserve. We held our 25th wedding anniversary party here and people raved about it as well.

My kids and I love the playgrounds and the walking trail. There is some shade in the summer and the pond is fairly nice.
