The museum is an old Victorian house built in 1886. It has 3 levels with staircases. It has furniture and household items relevant to the appropriate period. There are beautiful, detailed artifacts and artwork. The docents are friendly, helpful and informative. The first family to live in the house was the John Smart family. The house is big for a house but small for a museum, so it does not take too long to walk through it and see everything. The parking lot is very small. We enjoyed our visit.
