Good food good time . Trip should have lasted longer.
The Ohio River Museum was a nice visit. We enjoyed the museum and the guided tour of the Snyder paddle boat, it is beautifully restored. Our guide Dan was knowledgable and entertaining. Seeing the flood levels measured by telephone poles makes these floods very real.
Great ambiance on the river and friendly wait staff took care of us while we waited for our food. The food was good, not amazing, but good. They had no issues with our large group and we got do do some sight seeing after we stuffed our faces.
Took a guided tour, with a knowledgeable, personable volunteer!Seeing the inside & hearing about the inner workings of the vessel was quite amazing!Lasted about 30 minutes, the patient guide answered questions, stood back during our tours exportation of the cabins. Was so glad I added the Boat Museum to my ticket purchases from the Campus Martius Museum!
Pretty cool boat. Its been several years since Ive even stepped foot on it, but it looks nice when walking along thr bike trail.
A little in need of some TLC, this superb vessel is well worth the admission alone into the Ohio River Museum. A guided-tour by a knowledgeable staff member details the various rooms of the W.P. Snyder Jr., from the bridge to the engine room. See this first before tracking off to the Campus Martius, both included in the $9 cost. A must see!
They are rehabbing the ship slowly, but even if only parts are open still neat to see... Different era!
Would not recommend. The tour guides are rude!!!!
