Surprised by everything I found at what I thought was a little park! Love that there are a lot of branching trail options; this would be a good place to walk a reactive dog and allows for plenty of social distancing. The meadow is very pretty, especially early in the morning. It seems like it would be a very hot/sunny walk in the afternoon as there isnt any shade on the meadow itself. The trails themselves are fairly flat but can be wet, especially in the mowed meadow areas. The disc golf fields were a great spot for my pup to run around a bit since they werent in use first thing in the AM. Looking forward to all the cool developments they have planned but as it is the park is already worth a visit!

Go check out the bluebird best boxes and feeders, youll great sightings. This is a passive park so dont expect playgrounds, but great if you have small humans, plenty of room to run around

A great place to get some fresh air and take a quiet walk. The new parking area is nice and often filled to near capacity. They have signs for a 3 mile walking trail, but Ive never been successful in following the signs and getting 3 miles (Im sure I just be doing something wrong). When I walk there with my wife, she often turns the trails into a 5 mile walk.

A lovely place for a light hike. Rarely is it ever crowded and it is accessible to a lot of local amenities. The trail system is interconnected throughout a mixture of wild field and wooded terrain. Not strenuous and good for all ages. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Great place to walk, jog, or take your leashed best friend(s) for a stroll. Tons of birdhouses and eastern bluebirds, honey bee boxes, nice wide trails and a community garden. Lots of history and unique plants as well.

Its pretty new. Pretty place but nothing remarkable is open yet. Still working on buildings. Trail is poorly marked so far. Disc golf course appears to be useable.

Nice place to walk. This is a meadow but the trails are mown regularly. There are some wooded areas of the trail but not a lot of shade otherwise. This is becoming a very popular spot for photographers. Never very crowded but there is not a lot of parking. There is a community garden, bluebird houses and bee hives on the grounds.

What a complete waste of county/tax payers money. When you live in an area like West Cobb where everyone has a yard thats big enough for a garden, you dont need a community (communist) garden. Build a Wal-Mart or a movie theater here instead of another park we cant afford!
