My family really enjoyed the light show especially my grandkids.. I streamed it so that my mom who is in Bermuda could see it as well and a few other friends and family. They all enjoyed it as well. This is truly a must see every year with the family just to see them top off the years before.
It was awesome went to see Candy rush in lights. Something to do as family since covid-19 has taken over and could be safe.
I went for the drive through Christmas lights. It was very well organized. My kids absolutely loved it.
The candy rush lights were amazing! My children loved them. Would definitely recommend.
I had so much fun here! The staff was nice and considerate, answering questions and giving directions. There werent as many rides open because of Covid but everything was still great! And the lifeguards were amazing. One girl fell in water too deep and she was saved right away!
Its a great place to bring the family. They had enough slides open to keep you running around the park. They require a mask to enter and exit the park and encourage you to wear it when your not in the water. There are no restrictions on bringing an ice chest/cooler.
My family and I had an awesome time. Of course, certain attractions/ rides were closed due to our current situation, but that’s to be expected. We are not all back to normal yet, so it was refreshing to have the establishment keep it as safe as possible and allowing us to finally... LIVE.. a little!
I had a good time with my fiancee 6 0r 7 years back! It was my first time going! Only thing I didnt like was really expensive for food and gifts shops and stuff like that and there was not much for a diabetic there much, diabetics have to stay on a time diet and have certain foods thats recommend, you cant bring in your own food snacks or drinks for my husband...i didnt like that part at all.... Hope & prey next time staff and management would be more considerate for medical purposes like him...and be less expensive . Oh dear God of the prices to walk in the door, I can understand Disney World but not white waters. Other than that it was pretty good!
It was an okay experience. Theyre social distancing is hilarious. Were not worried about the virus, but nobody in the parking lot to get in was wearing a mask and then youre herded through these tents all enclosed with one another. Then theyre handing out masks and not letting you through the gate without one, but then once everybody gets in they take them off immediatelyWhich is 100% fine with us because we dont care about masks or social distancing. But figured wed let people know if youre concerned stay home. For the park itself, pretty simple layout. The staff we did interact with were friendly. A lot of rides were closed though, maybe half of the park. Kinda feel like the tickets should have been discounted to reflect half the park rides not operating. Nice to have gone and experienced it for sure.
Overall we had a good day. It was a bit different because of the pandemic. Some of the rides were not running. Some of the rides that were running had limited number of people at a time. The lines were still long. You were supposed to stay 6ft apart, but it seemed like one really followed that rule. Overall a good day. If you get the chance got check it our.
Many attractions were closed for Covid but we still had a good time. we have 3 kids aged 10, 8 and 4. they all loved it. we have the diamond membership and premium meal plan. doing it this way saves a lot. the meals are at least $11 each so 1 meal pays for the whole month. some staff were friendly and others not so much. the diamond seating area isnt anything to write home about. very little shaded area in the diamond seating. we went last weekend and have reserved again for this weekend. likely going to do week until it closes for the weekend. not sure it is worth one day tickets but memberships are totally worth it.
Good family fun. It was nice, not so crowded because of great social distancing. Mask are worn during standing in line for food, but not all rides were open. Still we had so much fun.PARENTS, please be sure your children are well hydrated because its Very hot and there were about 2 kids that had passed out due to the heat. Other than that, please remember to HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
Most attractions were closed. Most food and beverage spots were closed. If you go alone, you wont get to go on the two biggest open slides which require 2-4 riders. I wanted to swim. I got in the wave pool and on 3 of the body flumes. I swam in otherwords.
Actually enjoyed our time here. Even with a lot of attractions being down. The staff was way more polite than SF.OG and we enjoyed our time here. Was going to check out the new coaster at SF.Over Georgia tomorrow. But honestly we are thinking about just going back here instead. Its was cooler, not to big, plenty to do. VERY Disappointed Lazy river was unavailable but again the staff was nice.!!
Went last Saturday when they opened at noon and stayed for a few hours. Lines are much shorter than normal, so fast passes really arent necessary. It only took about 15 minutes in the line for the Tornado, which is usually much longer. Masks arent required when on the water rides, but are supposed to be worn the rest of the time, including when in a food line, but I was behind a bunch of people in a drink line and they were being served without having to wear masks. Mask usage is much better at Six Flags over Georgia, if that is a concern for you. There arent a lot of restaurants open here, so choices are limited. but food prices are high, so maybe thats okay, especially if you eat before you go.
We had a great time both days that we went. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the weird safety measures. I am all for wearing masks in lines, sanitizing often, and 6 ft apart from groups in line. But they also would randomly close the wave pool for 5 minutes just to open it back up. Force everyone out one small entrance, just so everyone would file back through the same small entrance five minutes later?? How does that help? Lots of rides were closed and some I couldnt understand the reasoning behind it. Please be safe everyone but do stuff that makes since, not just any action for appearance sake.
The people working at the park were wearing masks and the guests for the most part were practicing social distancing. By limiting the number of people in the park thru the reservation system it made it easy to maintain space from other groups. It was also reassuring to know that everyone is having their temperature taken before entering the park. As a side note, the vast majority of the guests were ignoring the mask rules that were posted throughout the park, but it didnt feel like a problem since it was easy to distance from others.
Very professional place! I loved the rides, food, and more. If you have kids i recommend you come here!
The light show was incredible but if you are looking for a Christmas experience, look else where.
Fun place for the Family. Alot of the attractions were closed tho.. the Wave Pool, Tornado, The Toddler Section, & a couple slides are open. No lazy river etc. DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. need card for purchases. Must Purchase tickets for Entry in Advance online. Parking is $20 per car.
Fun place to go and escape the blazing heat. This place has many water rides and water entertainment for kids and adults. I recommend getting the flash pass to bypass the long lines. I promise its worth every penny especially on a hot weekend day. There are lockers available for $15.00 for you to secure your items.
The family and I had a great time. If you plan to go, expect to be skipped in line by the glamorous locals. They expect the privilege to skip lines without paying for the flash pass.
In normal times, this is a great water park. Right now with social distancing, if you are concerned, don’t go. Lots of people are not wearing the mask. Some rides are completely closed right now. This water park is best for 10 years old to 18 years for the grandkids. Bring your walking shoes.
We went Saturday, 7/19/2020. The website only showed one ride was unavailable (DiveBomber), but half the park was closed for whatever reason... some rides even had leaves in the bottom pools - telling me they arent intended to be open. Having reservations made it seem like there was limited access to the park but I dont think that was the case. The park was definitely not packed, which was nice. We stood in most lines for 15 minutes or so, sometimes less. The line for the Tornado was about an hour, but was tolerable. Since not all the rides were available, we were able to ride all the open ones with plenty of time to spare. Storm rolled in around 5pm and they started closing everything up.Overall, we had a good day. We were hoping to catch certain rides like Little Hooch, but oh well.
We had a great time. Ride lines were pretty short. They do require you wear masks in food lines, but nowhere else really. They ask you wear them while walking around, but it is a water park, so take your mask on one ride and it is ruined or you are waterboarding yourself the rest of the day. So most people are not wearing masks. There were 13 attractions closed, so there is not as much to do. We still had fun. The Tornado was awesome and my 5 year old loved the Wahoo Racers. Several of the rides will not open again until 2021. The lazy river or little hooch was closed, but the wave pool was open? So not sure if that was a social distancing effort or just a staffing issue.
Clean and organized. Best to go during the week when no one else is there. Limited rides are open but it is fun nonetheless.
Good place to vist. The whole family will have fun
Some lines were long some extremely short. Food lines were short and food was expensive but thats a duh. The wave pool was cool. Great for a first experience. My favorite part was the wave pool my nephews loved it and i could relax
Very friendly and Amazing staff. Was disappointed that the Lil hooch ( lazy river) was closed. No where that we could see said that it was closed. After several minutes and watching a safety demonstration ( the lifeguard training) interesting to watch, however should be done while no customers are in the park ( especially since there is such limited things to do). The Wave pool always had a line, I understand and much appreciate the limited amount of people inside. It is really the only place to get wet without riding a slide. Hoping that soon there will be a solution to the tube cleaning, and the park can be closer to being back to a more normal.
I had A lot of fun but me and my friends were drowning on the lily pad obstacles and the life guard didn’t even notice I seen my life flash before me literally and he didn’t pay attention one bit !!! And my friend was drowning a hour later and the same life Guard didn’t even notice!! Then the cashier at Jb smoke house was so rude her attitude was gross she did better not coming to work at all! Besides that I had fun.
Was great today with most of the kids back in school! No long lines at all! Tail of the Dragon was the best!
I went to White Water with my family yesterday and only half the rides were open. We enjoyed the rides that were open but were very disappointed not many rides were even open. I had taken my son the first week it opened for pass holders only and the same thing, only half the rides were open. Both visits all the rides by Bermuda triangle were closed and was told on both visits it would open later in the day and both times that section never opened. Kind of a waste of money this year to have a season pass when you can only enjoy half the park
Only four rides open today. No warning on the website. Otherwise great.
Be sure to wear a mask to get food or drink!! They wont serve you if you dont!! You can go absolutely anywhere else and stand in line but not for food or drink. Craziness!! Either enforce it everywhere or not at all!!
Great fun as long as your really early and can avoid the rude customers that over crowd you and not obey the social distance rules.....Not to mention the ignorant parents that just let their kids run rampant....Needs more security to ensure they dont jump lines and obey the rules.
There was so much variations of rides and even just being in the wave pool was so much fun. I totally recommend going here
Everything was great. Just the exit and entrance at the wave pool. Whenever people have to leave because of maintenance, they have to go through a bottle neck. Social distancing impossible.
Had a blast except it seems as if the park wasnt going threw covid-19 as you enter its mandatory to have a mask but as u go deeper inside there where many who had no face covering on
Even with quite a few slides closed this summer due to maintenance and covid regulations, this was still a fun day and wasnt crowded at all!
Had a wonderful time, they do their best to tell people bout wearing a mask but people just don’t listen.
Great place to go with family . But there are many rides that are not operational because of covid or needing to be tended too.
My first time ever going, truly a wonderful experience Ill come back again and again at any point in time.
I was very disappointed with the service. The staff was understaffed and unorganized. I was told that I would be able to bring guest for free but once I got to the park I was charged $90 for my 3 guest. I also thought that I would be able to skip a ride with my Diamond season pass but was told that I can only use it at the other six flags and lastly I was under the impression that theyre would only be a certain amount people allowed in the park due to the COVID-19. The park was overcrowded and a big fight broke out. I complained to a staff member but was told that he couldnt do anything to assist me. I will NEVER return back and want my money back.
This has to be the best place in the world. It’s good for birthdays when you have a lot of kids. I would personally recommend it for any occasion especially the movie nights
Love this place and the membership price is awesome it does get full however its what you make of it
One of the absolute best water parks in the South East! Great rides, food and kid rides! Staff is friendly and is definitely worth going!
OMG! I absolutely love this place and will come again and again. Great family fun during the hot summer days.
The park is nice, but I couldnt say it is very safe in terms of covid. Restrooms cleaning was not sufficient as well.
The staff at the food line egged on a l racial fight between two customers, and would not serve me cause of the color of my skin. I was told they were out of cups when you can clearly see them. More than half of the rides were closed due to poor maintenance.
Park was great! Lots of hand sanitizer, cut and clear rules, lines moved very quickly (park wasnt crazy busy)
Terrible, the social distancing made it impossible tovenjoy. Theres absolutely no place or no way to stay in water. No lazy river, no wave pool. You can only stay in 15vmin. You have to getvout and let others in. And waitvwaitvwait in the heat. Not worth the money
Fun place! I personally felt safe as everyone was social distanced and wearing mask.
Its the beginning of the season now when Im posting this but the park was super fun except that only a select few of the parks attractions where open and one broke while I was there so. Other than that woulda been 5 stars for sure no complaint
Fun, fun, if you like large slides and wave pools! You burn alot of calories for sure. I must add if you go during holiday weekends or expected crowded days less fun and probably frustrating. I went on a slow day during the week, everything was clean and the lines were 15min max. Tip if you plan on going twice and maybe to sixflags ride park as well get the diamond pass so worth it. Free parking which is 20 without it. Free drink refills with your cup and 35 percent off food plus you get more perks at six flags ride park. The max I spend is 20 every time I go. At the water park you cant bring in food they will check your bag but you can go to car with a stamp to come back. Just eat in the parking lot for those who rather pack a lunch.
We rented a cabana for our group of 3 . Liked the location of the cabana and also privacy. Also the fan inside the cabana provided a cool brezze .
Very crowded everywhere. I have had a combo season pass for the last 3 years. I have come to white water maybe twice. So many of the slides were closed. Most of the ones smaller kids can do we’re the ones closed. water was also not very clean, leaves and such everywhere. Also had a problem with other guests. Our chairs that had all of our things on them close to the kids area and when we returned from a slide other people had put their stuff on our chairs and moved our things to two chairs. Of course they were not there at the time. We moved the other peoples things from our chairs and went to another ride when we arrived back at our seats said other people were again in our seats, this time my friend noticed her daughters goggles were not in her zipped bag under her towel but on a little girls head from the people sitting in our seats. When she asked the other person where she got her goggles she ignored her and rolled her eyes. I’m sorry but seriously, wow! Nevertheless the goggles were returned. My daughter also lost her goggles at the end of a water slide. When we asked for them the lifeguard said come back at seven when we close, ten minutes before this the lifeguard called for another worker to come get another girls cell phone she dropped in the same place. The staff here was great at watching the water but not very friendly. Or attentive to the guests. I was reminded today why I never come here.
We love cooling off at White Water! We visit every chance we get. We have Diamond Elite Membership which is kind of an expensive way to go about it but the benefits are great & we are able to help a LOT of other people with our 1/2 off of everything deal we get. We also added the dining passes too which includes lunch, snack and dinner. And we get preferred parking & seating at both White Water and Six Flags. Paying monthly is easier but costs more in the long run but we try to go all the time to make it worth it. We are on our way there again now! 4th time in a week since school starts back in 2 days! Photos from Six Flags but theyre sister parks.
Not a lot of rides open over eight rides closed which makes it a waste of time and money. More kiddy attractions open compared to the closed venues. Never get the membership pass its a waste and a lot of rides are not operational but they dont inform you when you sign up which is poor management . The recent commercial shows the lazy river in use which is false advertising since its still not open as of today.
We went to White Water today and had a great time!! Make sure to have your reservation pulled up on your phone so they can scan the barcode before you park..if you don’t you will hold up the parking line :-) Also make sure you have a mask..you have to wear a mask when entering the park and when you are in any food lines. (Refill drink lines too!) We did see a few people get turned away due to fevers..they scan you when you walk in. I think they are doing a great job trying to keep everyone safe durning the pandemic. The lazy river is closed, Skull Island is closed and many slides were closed. But all in all we had a great time and will be back again this summer! :)
Compared to other water parks Ive visited, White Water was a bit disappointing. We visited on a Thursday and arrived around 11 am and the park was filling up. Not a problem as this was to be expected. Once we entered the park we attempted to start from the back side of the park and work our way to the front. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as all the rides beyond the Bahama Bob Slide were closed. Park employees indicated it would be open later in the day. Again minor setback. We then started to go on whatever was open. After a few hours in, we decided to try the Little Hooch River (Lazy River) but this river was anything but lazy. While attempting to relax on a tube in the river, there were a lot of people in the river, mainly kids, that were splashing and rushing through or attempting to swim under the tubes in the water. Around 4pm, we then decided to leave the river and head back to the rides that were closed earlier in the morning. To my surprise, the rides were still closed, with the park employees stating that there were not enough lifeguards available for each ride.At this point, I am really upset with the fact that I paid for a ticket to White Water to experience it for the first time and was unable to enjoy the full experience. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a refund or discount for the lack of rides available and will not be returning to this park as the experience was lacking and the fault of the park not having enough employees to fully staff most of its rides.P.S. One of the employees that was stationed on the Dive Bomber ride had heat syncope and had to be escorted down the slide for medical assistance at the bottom of the slide. Does the park not hydrate its staff during the summer months?
Best Expierece Ever Will Be Going Back ASAP
Not too crowded. Workers made sure everyone wore mask while in food lines.
NO NO NO. I love Six flags over GA. But the aqua park is awful, lockers work poorly, if you dont have the Flash pass, you will wait in the line forever. I dont recommend going here, coominity swimming pool does better job. I came here, had problems with a locker two times in a row, waited 20 min in a line witch was barely moving and just went home.
Their approach to social distancing was good. Made sure sanitizer and cleanliness was top priority.
Fun place to go a few times a summer! Been going since I was a kid and it seems to just get better and better every year. Just wish they had better season pass deals for local Georgians or something. If you are passing through Atlanta then you will love visiting this place during the hotlanta summer! Hope my review helped. Thanks!
More than half the rides are closed. Understaffed. 10% of attendees wear masks because it is not at all enforced in the park. Six Flags only cares about masks in the corporate marketing materials. We will not be returning. Everyone in our party of four was super disappointed.
Was hopeful that it would be a safer experience as masks are required when you are not in the water, however virtually no one wore a mask or social distanced while walking around and sitting around outside of the water. There were no employees enforcing the rules. We stayed for 30 min and left...we will not be going back during the pandemic.
If you want to see and feel pure fun and cool off. This is your place. Its great. You better like kids and crowds, because thats what youll get here too!
Great but wish more slides were available and open!
A good bit of the attractions were shut down and due to this everything else was very crowded not sure if it was due to covid19 or if they just broke I noticed these havent been redone.. same as when I went about 15 years ago also its reservation only even if u have a member ship atm so check online befor going
GreT light show
Fun to get away, let the kids play and get sum sun!
Awesome best time of my life and Im 53
Very disappointed, facilities not well kept. Not enough equipment like, floaters and extremely long lines. Expensive for a family of 3, for tickets, food and parking, 207 dollars.
Over half the rides were closed...the computers consistently mess up/misread meal plans and parking on the season passes. Not the best day
Went today with my friends. Way different from last year. Ig I’ll start with the negatives (KEEP IN MIND THIS IS SOMEONE THAT DOESNT OWN ANY SORT OF PASS). 1. Overpriced food as usual so make sure to bring $30, 4 chicken tenders with a good amount of fries and a medium sized soft drink was $19.06. 2. A lot of rides are down ig for maintenance. So barely anything appealing to an older demographic was closed. So lines were rly long and it got boring pretty quickly. Me and my friends prob rode the same ride 3+. 3. The fact the lazy river was closed rly was upsetting. 4. Social distancing was out the window. Almost everyone (including me and some of my friends) had mask off the entire day. I only kept mines on while ordering food bc it was required. No one rly stuck to being 6ft apart. Maybe 1 or 2 people but not much. Ok let’s get into the positives. 1. IMPORTANT. If u bring cash now because of corona you can’t pay with hand held cash so you can take the cash to a atm and deposit it into a visa debit card. Which I rly liked. Thought it was smart and a good way to keep employees safe. 2. Employees were actually super funny and nice today. All of them wore mask. They wiped down everything used and they were just doing there jobs which is something u don’t rly see at white water lol. 3 Rides were still super fun (the ones that were open) and we made great memories. 4. Final the entrance into the park was great. They used monitors to body scan our body heat and make sure no one was sick. So that was really tidy and straight forward on six flags part.To sum it up I give today a 3/5 although the rides were still rly fun, the payment was on point and the cleaning was spot on, it still doesn’t make up for the absence of many rides, the horrible social distancing rules, the fact that bad food is still super over priced. All in all should u go with your family or friends? I don’t recommend it right now. I recommend coming back next summer when everything is actually back open and worth 38 dollars plus 20 dollars for food. But besides that it was still a good day and we had fun so in the end it’s totally up to you :)
Doing their best during these strange times. About 80% of the rides are open.
Today was the park was open to everyone. We missed season pass holder days. There was no social distancing. 25 percent capacity is still nearly 4500 people in the park!. We left hoping and praying we didnt catch covid 19. Lazy river is closed. Many water slides are closed. I believe six flags is more concerned about money than their customers. I would not he surprised if the park closes before too long. I did not feel safe. Large crowds roaming the park. They expect you to wear a mask when your sitting all alone off by yourself but dont enforce the masks where large crowds are gathered. I wished they did more member and pass days I may consider returning then but our family will not return this year. We will be quarantining now just to be on the safe side because if we made it out without getting infected today we are truly protected by God. Keep your family safe and dont go. They have signs that say they are committed to safety during this time but that is not what I saw today.
So much fun! Wait times for rides kinda kill it though.
Price was Break The Bank but Was Much Fun .. Will Go Back Soon
I was not disappointed in the park but I was disappointed in the way that they try to prevent the spread of Corona at least test peoples tempature.
Enough activities for all ages. Tickets are easy to get. Options are well explained
We love going to white water. We go every year!
Some of the prices are high but a nice place to go.
Closing down more things as season progresses. Food still terrible.
Had so much fun, only wish the park was open longer! :)
The kids had a great time. Then someone stole my sons shoes how low.
It was really cool, the wave pool was fun and the lazy river was great too. There was a lot of people there though so that kinda sucked but it was still awesome
Great holiday lights event.
