Nice, well kept park. Usually pretty busy. Theres a trail that leads up a hill to another park with baseball fields. Nice for exercise or just to sit and find a place of calm.

We love this park. There are 2 big pavilions (that you can reserve for parties) and several smaller shaded picnic benches all over. Two playgrounds for kids, lots of parking, a little stream to cool off in and a couple of little trails. Plenty of open space, trees to attach hammocks to and benches all over.

Growing up in the Marietta area, I grew up at East Cobb park. I have very fond memories playing on the very same playground that still exists today. However, I believe that the atmosphere has changed and the connection to nature I once felt as a child is now gone. If youre looking for a place close to work to go for a run, walk the dog, or play on the swings, this will be fine. If you are seeking a natural escape from reality, seek other nearby parks. (Chattahoochee nature center, Soap Creek, or Laurel Park)

This is always a nice little park to go to. I say little but its actually a lot bigger than probably 80% of the parks around Cobb County. Situated along the bank of Sewell Creek, the park has walking trails that circle a playground and two recreational fields and continue deep into the wooded nature areas inside the park. There are benches and picnic tables in various parts of the park which can be reserved for events like birthday parties if one so desires. The playground has swings, slides, and many other equipment for children. Your kids arent like to get bored of the playground quite so quickly here. If you want a place to take kids to entertain them or you just want a place to walk and give your cardiovascular a nice workout outdoors, I highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful park. I have been going for a walk there each day for quite some time. The park is close to where I live and clientele there are most cordial. This old fella will be glad when re-opened. Since East Cobb Park has closed have been going to a Marietta park where all has been cordoned off but access to the walk path is allowed but I dont feel as safe/comfortable there.

I have two kids (8 & 2). We love to frequent this park. It has trails, a track, a public piano, a bridge over a creek, picnic areas, fields, trees, two playgrounds, events, grilling picnic areas. Its a great place, but bring a towel when its hot so that the littles don’t burn their legs or bottoms and sunscreen, water and snacks. Dog, kids, athlete, elderly friendly.

Plenty of green space for playing, several places with shade, dogs welcome, bring your hammock, picnic lunch, walk on the trails, sit on a bench or swing. Theres 2 playgrounds! Clean bathrooms too with a changing table. Little ones can ride bikes. Sewell Creek is on one side and easy to access. Theres a stage for events. A band was playing for Sunday Funday when we were there. Theres covered group pavilions with grills. An ice cream truck was in the parking lot too. We will be here often.

Fantastic spot for the community, especially families with kids and dogs. Two playgrounds, one with pressed rubber ground surface and mostly fenced. Walking trails that are stroller friendly, with to great spots to go down to the water to splash and play. Clean bathrooms, nice picnic pavillions, good sidewalks. Ample parking. Lots of friendly people. Also some hiking trails in the woods which dont seem stroller friendly. Good place for painted rock hunting. And a Little Free Library by the parking. Go check it out, you wont be disappointed!

We love this park. If you follow the paved trail to the bridge you can go play in the creek under the bridge. The park to the right of the entrance is better for younger kids but there is such little shade and the black material used on the ground makes it super hot. Also wish they wouldn’t spray the park where children play with pesticides but apparently people are more worried about grass ascetics than cancer free people.

Although we saw a pretty sizable black rat snake, the park was nice and clean. They have several pavilions, with water faucets. I think thats a nice touch. They also have an opened field, which can be used for different types of portable or old skool games. It would be great if there was a court of some kind: basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc. That would make it more exciting for older teens and young adults. For this reason, I gave it 4 stars.

Love this place. Great trails. Walk my hound here all the time. Usually most other dogs are fairly well mannered ...I go mainly evenings after work. Kind of seems like a mad house on the weekends and my hound gets nervous around little kids. The trails connect to baseball fields and the parking lot and has some Creek access for your dog or child to play in and get your car dirty.Definitely nicely maintained. Never really concerned about anything sketchy going on here.

I’ve been to this park a few times and there’s always something going on! Two separate playgrounds, tons of walking trail- paved and unpaved, restrooms, places to hammock and even a mini free library. The only thing I think it’s missing is a water fountain that’s lower to the ground for dogs? I recommend bringing a bowl to fill up. Other than that- great park!

Had a great time with my boys in the stream under the first bridge along the walking path! Bring water shoes or at least be prepared to walk back barefoot. The parks (upper is for littler kids, lower is for bigger) here are top notch as well. They also have super affordable pavilions for rent adjacent to the parks.

Lots of parking which supports both the older kid playground and the toddler/younger kids playground. Swings for all and even swings to share with your child. The restrooms are kept clean, very nice walking trails and track. The track which doesnt explore as far out is paved for strollers, wagons, scooters, and skates...if anyone skates anymore. For those that want to get their feet dirty, you can walk the outer trails, which is a bit more wooded and not very flat. These are good for wooded adventures or just a peaceful walk through the woods. There are lots of people walking dogs here, and plenty of open space for frisbee, soccer, or any other field type activities. Dont forget the pavilions. Some are first come first serve, and others are able to be reserved. Plenty of BBQ pits for everyone. One of my favorite local parks.
