Well maintained and clean. Lots of different things to do. Dog park, play ground, walking trail, tennis courts, etc. Check it out! I liked it.
Very nice park with pretty well thought out play sets to cover a variety of age groups.
Great park with well-maintained grounds and play area for kids.
A very nice small park.
Great place to play with your dog and meet new friends!
Great place to take the kids, meet friends and have a picnic.
Very nice park pet friendly
We enjoy this park! Its always well-tended to, and theres plenty of space for the pups to roam. The bigger dog area (above 30lbs) is probably about 3-4x larger than the smaller dog area, so thats a bit odd. But its in a great location with a baseball field, and the park itself is beautiful!
Lewis park has to be one of the best, if not the best public parks Ive ever been to. I typically go there with my family on Sunday mornings before it gets too hot. Although the playground area is really well shaded. The public restroom is always fairly clean for a public park restroom. The dog park is a good size for being able to run your dog with no issue. Lastly, the baseball field is a great open rec area, especially in the outfield. If you are looking for a great park with fun for the whole family then Lewis park is the spot. P.S. added bonus is the new Session Stand coffee and pastry shop thats within easy walking distance from the park
Great playground, with picnic tables and restrooms. There is plenty of open space and a dog park! My personal favorite is the tennis courts!
Beautiful setting!! Playground has great equipment. My son and fur baby had lots of fun while we were here.
So many unwanted bugs bites on my children due to over shady areas. This results in over population of mosquito breeding..... Need repellents if ever visiting
Generally a very good park. Lots of regulars with well mannered dogs. The park does get muddy when it rains! Would love to see some seed or sod go down. Water fountains (for dogs, wouldn’t recommend humans using!) and hose for spraying off dogs onsite. Small and large dog areas. Quite large. As with all dog parks, occasionally irresponsible owners bring their non-social or aggressive dogs. Always be vigilant, but generally a good crowd here.
Excellent park! Great amount of shade, always clean and playground equipment in very good condition. There is a dog park that is well maintained and provides great open space for our four legged friends. The restrooms at the park are very clean and well maintained. Excellent park for a picnic or birthday party.
I love this dog park, the dog owners that frequent here are all very respectful and responsible with their dogs. The park is pretty well kept-up, and there is more than enough room for dogs to run and play. I only wish there was more covered seating for hot days and foul weather.
Nice little park thats well shaded and well taken care of. Some of the jungle gym/playset area is challenging for the little ones but that means its pretty good for the older kids. There is a water fountain of you forget to bring something. There is also a dog park on the other end, a baseball field immediately adjacent to the playground area, and tennis courts just across the parking lot. Neither I nor the kiddos needed to use a restroom so I cant comment on where they are if they exist. I saw Marietta Parks office enforcing the rules, which is great
Nice dog park with a beautiful community of people!
Good sized dog park area but in hot summer its quite miserable. There are two small shade areas. Looks like it gets pretty muddy after rain. There is one unisex restroom and there is water for your dog. A small kiddie play area is in the shade. Parking on the street should be okay if the small parking lot is full. Its in walking distance to a small coffee shop (Sessions).
Clean park and tennis courts. The dog park is well maintained with plenty of room. Its our go to place for tennis and there is almost always at least one court open.
Great, hadnt been there in years. Met some very pleasant pet parents and their fur babies.
Great place to walk, bring your kids to play, and let your dogs run and play! Really nice neighborhood park.
Nice intimate park. My kids really enjoyed it.
Its a great little park. The kiddos loved it. Clean bathroom. Clean playground. It was a good experience
I love the park, maintenance needs to happen. Weekly cleaning. Not all the dog owners are responsible and clean up behind themselves. Because there is so many participants the grass is almost non existent. All the dog signs and rules are missing off the fences.
Lewis dog park is a wonderful place in a great neighborhood. They have a big dog play area and a small dog play area. Both are very expansive and unobstructed so the dogs can run and play unimpeded to their hearts content. The only small issue is they need better water stations for the dogs and there is a pretty substantial flea population in the park so I suggest you have a strong flea preventative for your dog and bring some water during the summer months. The park also has a very nice childrens play area and very nice tennis courts and a great baseball/softball field. The whole area with the houses ringing the park is very picturesque and delightful. Also check out the little neighborhood library the neighbors have set up under a tree on the corner. It is very cute, but just remember when you take a book to drop off a book.
Small, uneventful dog park with very little grass and plenty of poop. However, the people here for the most part have been very nice and there is a place for water.Edit: the regulars here have some very aggressive/ill behaved animals so be careful. I find myself leaving after a few minutes quite often
The dog park is awesome! Shade for the owners and tons of room for the dogs to run around. Love the close water hose to fill up a bowl of water or wash off the pups.
Its a lovely park to visit whether you just want a friendly atmosphere in which to go for a walk, to take your kids to play, to have a picnic, play tennis, or want to let your dog run free in a dog park. There are 2 picnic tables near the playground, 2 baby swings, 2 regular swings, a path that goes from the playground area to the dog park, tennis courts, a baseball field which Ive seen many use for other activities (e.g. soccer) and restrooms. Sessions Stand, a small coffee shop, is a short skip away.
Dog parks for small and large dogs with water. 4 tennis courts, ball field, playground. Great park in a safe, beautiful, old, friendly neighborhood.
The pups ALWAYS love a day out to play!
It is a basic dog park. I do like that theres a separate area for smaller dogs.
Dog park still not open!!! Ugh!
Clean inviting environment. Puppy loved it!b
Great upgrades since my last visit, including a small-dog area, pavement around the water fountain to stop it from getting muddy, shaded seating.
Quiet, empty, beautiful.
Great dog park. Has water and usually very grassy
Its an ok dog park. People seem friendly and mostly good dogs. It has water fountains, poop stations, a hose off area, a sitting area thats shaded.
Small but attractive park that is always clean and a favorite place for our group.
My favorite park in Marietta! Fantastic playground for the kiddos and 2 great dog park areas, for small and large fur-friends alike!
No bathrooms, very small in comparison to my there parks weve been to.
Good off-leash dog area with a wash station as well. Good place to visit after lunch in the Marietta Square, but a bit too far to walk.
The dog park @ Lewis park is our evening go-to for exercising our dogs. Rarely have issues with overly aggressive dogs. Poo-bags and water are provided, there are canopies for shade and benches. Also, there are always plenty of tennis balls. :)
Great baseball field. Dog park with a separate area for small dogs. Playground and facilities are generally all kept. I would 5 star if there was actually restrooms rather than a porta potty. Also theres not a lot of parking.
Run to another dog park or Dont go in the morning before 10am. There is a woman there with 4 big dogs that acts like she owns it. Tells everyone where to go. She always wears a hat & has long dish water blond hair. Her 2 followers have shoulder length hair & wear round Rim glasses. They have their dogs off leash in the parking lot. She puts her big dogs in the small dog area. She is the bully of this park. One if her dogs is a big German Shepard named Sam. The solid black dog attacked my dog. She laughed. When I stood up to protect my dog she verbally attacked me & threatened to call the police. I said go ahead & verbally defended myself. When the cops arrived she told them I hit her. 2 of her little follower lied to the cops as well to try to get me arrested. The cops laughed when they arrived. I had no marks of fighting. Run the other way! Sams owner runs this dog park. I wonder when her water bill is due?
Good dog park not much shade great playground for the kids
Nicely shaded. Wish there were more seats for parents close to the playground.
Loads of sun. No trees
Overall it is a great park to go to and i love the proximity to my house and the square!!! Yes, there are some absolute a-holes that come here at times but just avoid them, they arent worth your time. just come and let your dogs run around & have a good time. I plan to do my eagle scout project here!!
There was a very mean dog there and the owners did nothing to stop the dog from attacking my dog. I was not happy at all. But the park itself was nice.
Best park in Marietta City. Tucked away off historic campbell street. Playground, tennis courts, multi purpose field and 2 dog parks. Great family park!
The childrens playground has a section for toddlers which worked great for my two year old. Youre near the dog park and the baseball field and there are a few benches nearby as well. The playground section isnt very big but it worked for my daughter.
Great dog park!
Solid sized dog park with separate partition for small dogs. Dog water fountain and table with sun shade for owners. Good baseball field and tennis courts adjacent.
Nice neighbourhood park. Its a dog area as well.
Its a nice little park that could use a little more maintenance and landscaping!
I would have given it zero stars, but you have to give at least one star or you cant post a review, because the website says no pitbulls allowed. My Sadie is a very sweet pittie and wouldnt hurt a fly, she likes to chase squirrels, tho :) She has been to many dog parks, many times, and has made a lot of people, who were previously afraid of pitties, love her. She plays very well with other dogs. All she wants is to play ball freely. Hmph!!
The dog park is great! There are separate areas for small and large dogs. Plenty of space and clean as well.
All of the dogs and dog owners are very friendly and respectful. Small and big dog areas. Ive been going there for a few months and havent had any issues.
Good dog park with hose and water bowls.
Good dog park with room for running. More dirt than grass so beware on rainy days.
We visit the Lewis Dog Park once a week with our two large breed pups. The other dog owners are always friendly and pick up after their dogs. Biggest and cleanest dog park in the area.
Overall great park to take kids and dogs.
Big dog park split into large and small dogs. The people ( and dogs) who frequent it are very nice, personable and respectable dog owners
Good baseball, tennis court and dog park for locals. Small playground though. They can use some updates.
What a gem. Small, family friendly with a handicap accessible bathroom and dog park for large and small canine friends. Therrs an adjacent tennis court. Youll find parking on the front and backside of park.
Quaint and hidden away, this park is great for a stroll, a round of tennis, playing with the kiddos and/or bringing the family dog (yes, theres even a dog park!) My kids had a blast scootering around the path and on the banana swings, which you dont see much of anymore.
Nice fenced in dog park sectioned for both small and large dogs. It also has some shaded pavilions, a dog and human water fountain, and a doggie poop bag dispenser to pick up waste.
Wasnt very well maintained
Nice inter-city park.
Delightful little park with a well-kept dog divided dog park (by size), ball field, and playground. Parking is limited in the lot you are taken to via Google maps. As the park is a square, take two rights toward the back of the park (or lefts) where youll find more parking options.
Great dog park. To bad people do not obey the rules and pick up after their dogs.
Have three dogs I bring here. The park is always clean and they dog bags are always stocked full and trashcans are always empty. Well managed.
Great place to take your dog to run around. Really awesome people and dogs who come on the regular.
Its perfect for kids younger then 5yr of age which is great. Love this park
Love that they have water fountains for dogs but not enough grassy areas
Great small tennis,baseball, dog park
Lovely grounds - very spacious and well designed. However theres a lack of grass on the dog park, making the ground rather muddy. I think well stick with Wildwood Park for now.
Not the biggest or the best Atlanta has to offer. But it is a great little park, in a great little neighborhood, with a great group of dogs that usually know each other.
Very quiet, pieceful...
Visited this park recently in the evening. Overall it is a small neighborhood park with a dog park, playground, ball field, restroom and sidewalk/walking trail which covers about a block. The dog park has 2 separate areas one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The large dog area is large - similar in size to a ball field and the small dog area is average size when compared to other dog parks. Both areas have grass and dirt and benches/picnic tables. The grass is more abundant on the small dog side. When we went all dogs large and small were in the same area and after a very brief visit we left. People were friendly and attentive to their dogs but large and small dogs and rough play (rolling the little ones over) arent a good mix.
Very clean and secluded
Great little park
Awesome park for pets and pet lovers
Not a huge dog park, but more than enough room for my lab to run. They have separated out a small dog area, which is nice if you dont like your little dog to be around real dogs. Theres almost always other dogs there. Lots of regulars who know each other. Thanks to the tennis court near by, theres always balls around. I avoid it after a heavy rain because theres always a mud puddle. It has all the essentials: covering, bench, water, trash can, poop bags...
Nice dog park with small and large dog areas. Occasionally some unsavory owners will come, there have been three fights Ive seen where attention wouldve helped. Most people are friendly and attentive though.
Nice dog park. Shade is limited to tents, late evening or early morning, so midday is usually not a great time to visit. Regular evening crowds improve the chances for your dog to find a play pal.
Its our nice neighborhood park the city keeps it clean. Nice to go swing as an adult too
We go almost every day.. I enjoy enter acting with the other families.. Its a nice clean place..
Nice dog park. Great place to relax and take the kids...4-legged or otherwise.
Nice and clean
