We love this park! Every time we go we take a different trail and its like a new adventure everytime. The landscape is pretty and its not so crowded that you are constantly walking close to another group. Hardly anyone wears a mask when in close encounters and there are a lot of people at sunset taking family photos making parking hard to come by.

Lots of nice nature trails and enough landmarks to make stops interesting and have things to look forward to. Ponds allows for fishing. There are future plans for an educational center and new trails.

Today I have the opportunity to visit Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park, the first thing I say from my mouth is that WOW this park is so beautiful. This park has many large trees and shade, and tables where we can have a picnic here with the whole family. I really like this park, thank you for the donation of the land, and the people who made this Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park.

Small, but immersive. Overlooks, platform path, and restrooms are all excellent. Mostly shaded.PSA: confetti is bad for the environment and certainly does not belong in a preserve. Someone trampled prairie grasses and littered the area with micro plastics. Probably for their baby shower, sweet 16, or some other similar nonsense. RESPECT PUBLIC SPACES

I think my sidekick Rusty the Aussie would give this park a 5 star rating. He whimpers when we get close to the park. LOL. Super nice park. Great trails. Peaceful. Well maintained.

Lots of trails, but only about a mile or so if you wind through all the trails for the small park. The surface is mainly a small rock surface. There is a linear greenway along a creek which adds another mile or so and it is concrete.Great for families with the pond and different stations throughout the park. There is no play structure but plenty of walking space. The restrooms are clean. There were many dogs but everyone had picked up after their pet. It was busy. I showed up about 7:30 am on a Saturday and parking lot was about half full. When I left about 9 am there were people driving around with no parking spots available.

Lovely park with beautiful dirt trails, and lots of trees. There’s a small pond that’s a peaceful resting stop, with picnic tables nearby. You can tell that the bathrooms have been recently updated, because they are so nice and CLEAN. I was honestly shocked by how spotless they were. I look forward to taking my kids back here soon!

Because the fact that I cant believe these so called owners on the opposite side of the park have cut off residents and sightseers who come into town and get a chance to look at natural nature and a wonderful hike cut off from the people who pay taxes on the park cant even see that park to enjoy. Because of ongoing ridiculous litigation on it. Well they need to look closer to home if its if its vandalism or other such things. Because those owners have actual connection to the park than the park goers themselves just saying. Its just really sad. We recently visited the park since it first opened. And we couldnt visit that part and take updated pics. Another missed opportunity to create memories because isnt that what life is all about? All we wanted to do is go down memory lane together and take our pictures together. Because we are not promised tomorrow.

Such a nice nature park. There are plenty of benches and tables to have a picnic or have a sit and relax. The board walk makes the park accessible. The tree house over look is fun to explore and look over the trees. The trails are well maintained and the spring and summer is incredible with all the flowers. The butterfly garden is a lot of fun. I would say that parts of this park are wheelchair accessible but the gravel trails would be challenging for power and manual wheelchair users.

Park was very very nice. I only gave it a 3 star because I road a bike 15 plus miles and brought my cameras to take pictures but bikes are not allowed on trails and there was no way to secure it. This may be a bit unfair. Besides this point the park was very nice but a bit overcrowded.

Amazing park! I absolutely love the trails and the information presented on little signs scattered throughout the park. The bathrooms are clean and the trails are clear and not overgrown. I didn’t think I would like a park by seeing pictures but it’s very breathtaking once you’re there. I love how there’s a small pond by the entrance of the trails where one can fish & release. One thing I would say is to bring mosquito repellent because they are flying everywhere. The river was quite and peaceful to be around for some time.

Its really a treat to walk through this park! Mansfield These images show how well planned this park was created. There are signs along the trails to let you know where you are in case of a need 911 call, trail maps, restrooms, mutt mitts for cleaning up after your dog and lots of little coves with benches to relax and take it all in.

This is a very beautiful park in Mansfield, Texas. There are plenty of activities to partake in if you are a semi-active person. There are many trails to either walk or bike ride with a beautiful background of trees and water. Restrooms here were clean and centralized in the park. This park is very safe for families and has picnic tables for eating. I really appreciated how clean the park is kept. This is a great place to relax, get exercise in or enjoy family recreation.

This place is the hidden gem of Mansfield! It is beautiful and huge. Our first time here was with our Girl Scouts Troop. We had a tour guide who had been employed here for more than 5 years (again, I cannot believe I never knew of this place and I live nearby). As we walked throughout the park, I couldnt help but notice how well kept and clean it is. Everything is tidy and in perfect order. There are fields of flowers and trees. Also, wooden, gravel, concrete, and dirt walk ways. Many visitors had dogs on the trails. A few pathways were a little more narrow so be cautious of what you brush up against because there is poison ivy. There are picnic tables and restrooms, which makes it great when you have children.
