Pretty cool old house, but the tours have gone downhill. I used to come to Oak Hill Cottage about once a year to tour it. Went this year and the president was running the tour. He was rude (not just to use but to another group there) and lulled us right into an early exit.

We love Oak Hill Cottage and are grateful to the generations of citizens who have worked to restore and keep it for future use and enjoyment. Our son and daughter had an excellent time at the Childrens Open House! Thank you Richland County Historical Society!!!

Ghosts of Christmas Past! Outstanding tour with actors in period costume, the house decorated for Christmas, and live Christmas music on the old organ and two young musicians on violin and viola. Not to be missed!
