I brought my nephew here a few years ago (age 4?) and he loved several of the exhibits. A lot of interesting and interactive activities for young kids.
We love the SEE science center! We actually bought the membership (totally worth it as you get a few different places to go, not just the science center)My son, RJ, loves the ocean displays and the fish, beelines it for the fish every time!
Nice little discovery museum in Manchester. Parking on Sunday was not an issue, but it can be during the week. The place was clean and bright. The upstair exhibits were mainly for toddlers, while the down stairs were for older kids. The lego displays of the mills was great, on par with what you would see at lego land. There was a snsck area and the gift shop was reasonably priced.
Great place for kids! Not too big, and not as overweight as some of the larger museums. A hidden gem!
Really like this place, its kind of a hidden gem. Its not huge but there are a lot of fun interactive displays for the kids to play with. Prices are about 9 dollars making it a good deal too. We had a birthday party here and I couldnt be more pleased with the staff. From booking to helping the day of, everyone was friendly and helpful.
This was something fun and educational to do with a my toddler on a hot summer day. He got to go see and touch all the different interactive displays. There was a bubble tank for him to enjoy and a giant Lego display of the millyard to see. It was nice to have a place for him to burn off all his energy. I will definitely bring him back for another visit.
My 4yo and 1yo both loved our visit! This place is probably ideal for a child who can read (like a K-3rd grader)...but we found plenty to enjoy even as adults going with our children :) staff were super nice, too. Everything was reasonably clean. Parking was easy. The main reason I gave 4 stars is because several exhibits were closed for repair.
Was here once a very long time ago so it felt like a first time. Definitely a nice place to bring your kids if you want an outing that wont take all day long. Its not huge but they have quite a bit there to enjoy. Both of my kids had a lot of fun. Some stuff could definitely use some updating. Im glad I got a pass from my library. Paying $9 ea for all 4 of us is a little steep, I feel, for what it is. It wasnt extremely busy on a Saturday which was a definite plus. I would take my kids again.
Our favorite place! Weve had a membership here for years and its well worth the money. My kids always have fun and get the hands-on experiences in science. The employees are the nicest, too.
This Science Center is housed in a commercial building shared with other companies. The building itself is very nice. There’s 2 floors of stuff to do and the science demos are very nice. You have to park on the street, but there’s plenty of parking and it is free on weekends. I don’t know if it would be harder to find parking during the weekday though.
They have really added a lot in the last couple of years. We made a full day of it. We miss the Lego Thomas train set, though.
Always trying to find fun new places to take the kids. Glad a friend told me about and the kids loved it.
Ive been an employee here for over 5 years and let me say it is such a fun and interactive place to bring children of all ages. It is so amazing to see the young minds grow and develop through the use of our hands on exhibits! so great.
Its what youd expect from a science center oriented towards upper elementary kids. It has plenty of interactive things for kids to do. There was a random city made of legos downstairs that was a bit out of place. For what its worth, its a waste of time and money. The Museum of Science in Boston is a better option. There was a static electricity demonstration.
Brought my 3 year old grandson paid $9.00 for him. Very dissapointed, a lot of electronic stations were not working or partly functioning. Nothing works in the submarine area. Most sanitizer stations were empty. Robot needs major work not functioning properly. I could go on forever but enough said. I was here years ago when all was in proper operation. Dont know why it has been let go to be in this state. I will never waste good money again in your science center.
I was visiting my family in the area and my dad decided to take my family and I to this museum. I have a 2 year old and a 16month old and we were blown away by all the interactive exhibits! Not only did my kids have fun but everything was fun for us too! What put the icing on the cake though was the staff. I unfortunately left my diaper bag there and didn’t realize it until we had gotten back to my parents house. When I called to ask about it, the woman offered to drive it to our home about 30 minutes away and she did! I have never experienced such kindness from a stranger. Amazing staff, amazing experience! Thank you SEE science!
As an employee I love it its a friendly place to work. There is always something fun to do. Love seeing the families come in with the children. Membership are a bonus as it gives you admission to other places as well. They are affordable as well gift shop always has new things and doesnt have outrageous prices like most museums.
SEE Science Center has many home grown exhibits, see which one your kids like the best as the explore the both floors. Is there a concept that needs to be explained, make a suggestion the staff, maybe they can design and build it.Do not miss The Millyard Museum on the ground level.
Amazing hands on displays for kids to test out
Excellent, albiet small, science center. I enjoyed both the water, electrical and nanotechnology exhibits. My kids enjoyed it all around. The Lego build was rather awesome. The staff was friendly and pleasant, but seemed bored with the routine of the museum.
The exhibits are interactive & observable making it fun for all size and ages, there are SO MANY OF THEM, so you can be here for hours if you wanted to. They are so amazing that on some of them you could be doing them for HOURS.
Very nice place. We spent there 2 hours. A lot of play areas for little kids (big blocks, farm, kitchen, dino archaeology site). For older kids there is moon walk, electricity hands-on experience, air cannon, DNA exhibition. It was not crowded at all, so all kids can spend as much time as they want at the exhibit stations. Friendly employees. A lot of free parking. It was better than I expected.
My 5 year old LOVES this page so much shes been here 4 times and still wants to come back. My 3 year old has a blast too
Neat place for young kids. They have a lot of older exhibits (probably from bigger museums) and theres usually a few that arent working though. The Lego exhibit is cool.
Very fun place to go to and you can learn a lot. It is a very friendly place to be at. There are a lot of exhibits that you can visit.
Had a blast! Read reviews before coming here so I wasnt sure it was going to be geared to my tweens. We all loved it! The Lego display was amazing, loved the coral aquarium, many interesting things to learn, see and do.
Very good collection for kids 2-10 and beyond! Easily you can spend 4-5 hours if you and/or your kids are interested. Would definitely come back!
Great place for ages 3-13. Better than expected. Lego structures are amazing.
Hands on and lots for the kids to do here. However toys, mats, balls, etc. need a good cleaning. They are literally black and full of scum. Please take care of this facility. The items look like theyre hundreds of years old. Disappointed.
Not well indicated what is a private party and what is a public exhibit. The young staff is very rude and has very bad communication skills. The exhibits need to better maintained and cleaned on a more regularly. This place has so much potential but falls short by a long shot.
Three hours of contentment for a 4-5 yr old.
This is an educational center for older elementary or middle school students. When you come in they say it is an all hands on science center, but there is so much reading required to do the activities I was bored. My son, age 4, bounced from exhibit to exhibit, leaving before I could figure out how to do most of them. The were no staff operating the staff only exhibits. The bathroom is gross.
Great hands on activities for the kids and very educational. Would definately go back
Very educational. Lots of hands on experience s
Poor customer service and confusing information provided by multiple customer service representatives. I suggest booking thru airline and hotels directly.
Good for a couple hours. Not a lot for the younger kids.
Nice little museum for kids. Easy stop while heading up or down Rt 3. Free with membership from other science museums, even Boston MoS. Amazing huge exhibit of the Manchester mill complex built from Legos.
SEE is a wonderful little museum to take your children to on a rainy Saturday or weekday off from school.
T star because it improve other to observ the real life of BIUSNES and love whit otherthanku for you interes and my living life
I dont agree that this is only good for young people - a wonderfully hands-on museum with the most amazing Lego construction Ive ever seen.
The kids really enjoyed all of the exhibits, highly recommend.
Funnest place in Manchester.!!
Took our grandson,loved it,great value
My 3 1/2 year old gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot, the museum is a great size with hands on exhibits.
Love its knowledge
