The Hill is a unique new restaurant that we loved. Excellent food, great drinks and beer selection, all in a secluded area in the middle of a city! Its so close yet so quiet, relaxing and tranquil. The service was excellent and there was live music to boot! Check it out you wont be disappointed.

McIntyre just opened the Hill Grill. Ross Boisvert did a terrific job with the landscape at mighty mac. Very relaxing for out door dining. The food was delicious. I had the Ahi Tuna Tacos with seaweed salad. The best part was that between 4 and 5:30, the appetizers were half price.

I did not know this was here until a friend told me. Kind of hidden, but not far off some main roads. It is a fun spot for families, especially for smaller children, and beginner slope riders. Although the slopes are small, there are some neat pathways to take. The tubing area is really fun and well put together. I just wanted the tube to keep going, of course there are brake pads in the paths to help bring you to a stop. Safety first. There is a nice fire pit with a rock backsplash, haha. Roomy interior with a concession area, restrooms, and information desk. Have fun on your visit.

People there are nice, the mentors are the most chill people I ever met. Everything about this place is about helping others which I find nice. You can learn snowboarding with the help and its nice knowing that you have a community to count on. Great place. Worth going. Even with the three different stages of hills, you still learn a lot.

Great place to learn how to ski! They have a great learn to ski program and the mountain is small enough to not intimidate the meek. As a plus, its downright affordable. If youre a seasoned skier you wont enjoy the mountain as it is small. If youre a seasoned skier and are teaching a first time skier, this is the place to go!The snow tubing is probably the best in the area as they let you connect the tubes together so a whole family can go down at once on multiple tubes... Making it way more fun!Parking is ok and can sometimes get tight like on holiday weekends. They have night time skiing so theres no need to make sure youre there first thing in the morning to get all your monies worth. The food at the lodge is surprisingly delicious with average prices.

We went on Sunday Jan 26th. We only used the tubing section. My kids (6&8) had a lot of fun. The downside was the moving sidewalk which brings you to the top of the hill is too hard for some people to understand, you literally just have to stand still. When people dont stand still, they fall down which stops the sidewalk. That builds the line and upsets everyone.

Update (2/22/2019): Thank you Mr. Boisvert for reaching out and offered my daughters complimentary lesson. This time we scheduled for an evening lesson and it was the right choice. The evening is less crowded and plenty of lights. Although the snow condition was a bit icy, the girls had a lot of fun and learn so much that they say they are ready for the lift on the next trip. Thank you instructor Joshua for providing such a good experience.Original Review (2/3/2019): My daughters been skiing for the past 10 years and wanted a change so I signed them up for a Semi private SB lesson at McIntyre. The instructor end the lesson short by 10 mins and told us the hour was up. During the lesson I see him sitting on the slope more often then letting the girls practice. The most annoying part was I keep seeing him pulling out his phone, instead of teaching the lesson. Will probably get a better lesson watching YouTube and practiced in the backyard... Very disappointed with the instructor but the rental staff were very helpful.

I can easily say this is the greatest skiing and snow tubing place ever to exist. I drove down from Vermont to check this place out, it didnt disappoint. I passed by several skiing resorts but none of them came close to Mclntyre. Their cutting edge technology combined summer and winter climate controls as i parked the parking lot was covered with 6 inches of mud for any mud wrestling enthusiasts though it was 21 degrees the mud wasnt frozen. Then you get the opportunity to wash it all out in the snow. I got 2 hours snow tubing ticket for only 1 hour because i handle the excitement. It takes 15 minutes to get up the escalator and another 15 minutes on the snow tubing line but its all worth the 30 seconds of snow tubing. It was definitely worth paying 23$ for 60 seconds of snow tubing ( I went twice).

Review №23

We have been there three times and have had a good time. We only went snow tubing but there is plenty of room for skiing and snowboarding. It is difficult to tell the employees from the customers. Our recent visit, there appeared to be no supervision of snow tubing. People on the bottom nearly got hit by people coming down. The staff on the conveyor were helpful. The snow tubes can be heavy on the conveyor with the hard plastic bottom. Please be aware of this if you have little children.

The kids ski lesson program seems like a win. My son is enjoying it quite a bit, and the instructor, Matt, is very patient with the young kids. The tubing could use some attention. The hill is great, but the pace of getting up/down is dog slow. Staff seemed disorganized/short. Tickets were sold to the limit of tube quantity, so the line up was 20+ mins. My sons friend was with us (age 5), and his tube did not make the final hill. At this point a staff member yelled at him to get moving, you cant stay there!!. He is 5. A helping guide would have been far more helpful and effective than yelling at a child, inducing tears.

(Only 9 food vendors and a beer truck) Paid $5 to get in loved the live band but, the only food we found to be good was the BBQ food truck. Ribs and pulled pork was out of this world. Not sure we will go back next year. And we witnessed a hit and walk away! Red car hit a silver suv family continued to walk away after they got out of their car.

Review №36

Disappointing experience for the price paid for a half day lift ticket. Only one lift was working for a time and there was so many people and children riding on top of everyones skis and snowboards in line, the attendants should remind people and children to be mindful of personal space in line, the hill isnt going anywhere. They opted to open the second lift later in the day but by then the terrain park and the one jump they had was closed off, which a supervisor was letting people know they were going to open up the jump, but by the 4th hour it was not open still, but they had closed the second lift and reduced it back to one. There needs to be better queue management and respect shown to people getting in line and while in line, and there was no need for only one lift to be going during a day with dozens of children training.People in my party had to constantly remind those behind us to back up and stop scratching and riding over our equipment, this included adults and children. This got to the point of us opting to leave as the staff failed to say or do anything about it even when they first hand witnessed this.

Its unfortunate that they dont send cancellation through email and rely on folks to check their website and facebook page. On top of that they dont accommodate scheduling conflicts for make up lesson and dont try to work with customer. I like the place but customer service needs room of improvement. When i showed on a day when they cancelled the lesson, one of the representative told me that they will work out the timing with me but when i called them next day they told me that we will forfeit the lesson if we dont show up for the make up time decided by them .Hope they take in to account that they are charging money for their services and cant push customers as per their own make up schedule.

This place is amazing. So I ended up here on a Monday night randomly. They have this fantastic program called CHILL, which brings kids in from Boston and other urban areas. There’s tons and staff and volunteers who help the kids learn to snowboard and they spend time riding with the kids as well. The kids are fully outfitted with boots, boards and helmet from the mountain and clothing from Burton. After it’s all over the kids have their own reserved tables in the lodge and they are fed by the mountain staff, including the general manager feeding the kids good food, not just food from the snack shop, like roasted chicken and seasoned potatoes. It’s amazing. Theyeven topped it off with brownies for dessert. The staff is so kind and caring it’s truly amazing to see them treat these kids so well and give them an opportunity to learn a sport they might not otherwise have access to.

I do not ski. Having said that, i think that McIntyre is a GREAT place for beginners. McIntyre treats my daughter and me with great respect, and I feel like she is safe there when I send her with her school group. The pro shop gets her fitted every year with boots and skis that fit her comfortably, and she is exposed to a wide range of instructors to help her learn to ski. The slope is short enough that, at 10 years old, I will probably let her go down by herself and/or with friends this year.
