Nice relaxing place to take a quick walk on a short loop trail. I stop here often on the way home from church and rarely run into another person. Sturdy benches and garbage cans (please use them) are placed here and there along the partially paved trail. Read the sign at the trailhead to learn the history of what youll see as you walk the trail. This trail takes from 5-10 minutes to walk depending on your pace and if you dont take a rest on a bench.
Interesting little park with a short trail that leads to some civil war era earthworks. The earthworks themselves are pretty small, although they still remain visible. There is ample historical signage to understand the history there and overall was a peaceful walk and little known bit of Manassas history.
The fishing suck there now
Its a historical site of low earthworks which is not obvious to persons who are unfamiliar with foxhole earthworks. Theres a very short but pleasant forest walkway to a couple of benches. Theres a small lake with a dam with no access allowed to the dam.People fish here occasionally. Most people just seemed to come and sit in their cars eating lunch or resting. No bathrooms.
Not many fish left
Pretty but certain people take all the stocked fish
I wish it was more of a park, but theyve done well with limited funding.
Nice place for short walk in the outdoors
Nice and relaxing.
