Great place! Nice walking track. Pond with ducks and good playground equipment. My kids loved it. Also a basketball hoop and volleyball net there! Several benches and trash cans. Nice clean park.

Nice park with a small lake (or pond since its kind of small), a playground for kid and volleyball course too.

Shorter jogging trail, so it seems like a lot of people in a small space. Nice place to watch ducks though.

This park is pretty nice for Lubbock. The pond was very low and smelly, but all the water bodies of Lubbock get that way in the summer and fall. The birding was pretty good, but there are some parks where more bird diversity can be observed. Overall the park was tidy, with relatively little litter. The playground was suitable for children 4 and up, but a bit too much for children under 3.

Great park for picnics. Beware there is not much shade near the playground.

Great walking track. Benches along path.water.foot bridges. Lots of big beautiful trees. Well lit at night. Bathroom facilities there,but looked like they may have been locked.playground,ducks. Location good. Some art sculptures and signs about the park and walking track. Distance pole markers on track. Great place.

Nice and clean park. Has runoff pond in the middle of it. There is a small play area for kids. There are several benches along the walk path that goes around the park. There is also a good size picnic area for a good size party.There is also bags for picking up after your pet.

This is my favorite park to jog. There are alot of families there. We feel at home there.

Poor pond :( the water level is so low from lack of rain lately, drying up, leaving exposed dead fish around. Lower water levels now than in the photo I included which is from 3/27/2018.. Still, a great park for lap walking (.75 mi. track) and is semi-lit at night in a rather safe neighborhood. (As if anywhere is truly safe these days)

Good place for kids to have fun at the playground, for anyone to take a walk or jog along the path or to see or feed birds by the lake. The playground equipment has some minor elements to be repaired.

Very calm and quiet area. Plenty of shade and room to run around. Place was clean and had a covered patio area, 3 pokestops, and a Pokemon GYM.

Love this park because is usually quiet and not crowded. There are several pokemon stops and a gym to battle at for pokemon go fans.

This is a wonderful part to walk in, feed the ducks, or just have a picnic. There is always a police officer who drives around and make certain everything is okay. Love this place!

This is a pretty fun park. My kids enjoyed it, especially the pond with the ducks. The playground could use a little TLC since there were some things that were broken or missing, but my kids still had a good time. The playground itself is also sort of small, but again my kids didnt really mind. There was also plenty of parking around the park itself, which made it even more convenient.

Glad this park is near my home. We enjoy taking our kids and dog for walks at the park, feeding the ducks and playing on the playground. Nice gazebos at the park where we often see people grilling out or having birthday parties.

My children and grandchildren have been playing here forever, and I spread our Sandy cats ashes in the west playa last year.

Love this park its my all time favorite park in lubbock. Would go everyday if I could!! #autumnleaves

Very nice and relaxing

Not a great place for younger kids. My 3 and 4 year old were not impressed with most of this park. I dont know what happened to traditional playground equipment but they need to bring it back. This newer design of the equipment was not made for young kids. Amd isnt that the main purpose for a park is for little kids to play and burn iff energy? We wont be coming back.

This is a great park for families. Besides the occasional sticker you could play barefoot here. Playground, benches, lake, ducks, and walking trail available. We go almost once a week and my daughter loves it!
