I love this park. So peaceful and a great place to walk, have a picnic or just sit and relax.

Large park for any activity. One of the last parks with metal slides.

My grandchildren loved it?

The playground is a little older but the kids live it. The view of the lake is really nice.

Saw a lot of dragonflies.... Or fairies as my 7year old puts it...

Fun to watch the ducks. Lots of people seem to enjoy walking their dogs there.

Beautiful place to take a breather and release some stress

Plenty of tables and shaded areas. Trashcans always have liners in them or emptied.clean with a little playground for the kiddos .swings. Nice cardio workout walking around the whole park.

Small and older playground, but good for little and big kids alike. Nice tiny lake to look at too, but depending on how full it is you might be walking in trash and old fishhooks on the beach. Its nice and semi-secluded though, and has at least two good shaddy spots to sit.

Really well maintained park with lots of wildlife. Ducks and geese, with an occasional egret and turtles. Great place to walk your dog. Friendly people. Bike trail all around it.

Water levels are high after the rain. Makes everything fresh a colorful

Play ground needs work, parts are rusty and worn. The park its self was fine. Tennis courts could use some love too.

Love sitting at the north end of the park at the picnic table between those two giant trees.. looking over the water.. day or night.. moonlight is the best though..I need to spend a day at this park soon.

It was really quiet and peaceful. Not fancy but a good place to walk.

This site is just wonderful for walks and picnics. When I feel like finding a place closer to nature than the wild city surroundings - here I am. Whoever wants to join me - fell free.

Sometimes it is very clean, others we are picking trash up to help clean it up because people abuse this poor park.

It a nice quiet place to walk around and unwind from the day. You can feed the ducks or just relax by the waters edge.

Grandkids love coming here.

A diamond in the rough. Makes you feel like your arent in Lubbock for a moment.

Out of the way. Not crowded. Quite.

Please dont break glass bottles and then leave them for dogs to step on. (:

The park was filthy broken beer bottles trash it needs to be cleaned by Parks and Recreation from the city I was not impressed I will not be back for sure

Just wish people would stop using the playground as an ashtray. Keep it clean, Lubbock.
