Pretty much the best drive in theater ever. The sound quality is perfect. They play great movies. Refreshment center has everything you could want. The staff are very diligent in making sure each car can see the screen alright. They even have a little playground for the kids. They do a very fine and professional job of enforcing social distancing. My wife and I come here at least twice a month and I dont see that changing any time soon. Oh, and its very inexpensive!

This place is so fun. They have 3 screens so 3 movie options at a time, with lots of space for parking. We appreciated that they provide tethers for hatchbacks to hold them at the same level of the vehicle, and that they asked movie goers to leave a space between cars for social distancing. The picture was good, and the sound through the radio station was great. They play great older movies (we saw Labyrinth). Looking forward to going back!

Nothing like a warm summer night to pop the hatchback and watch a movie with coke & popcorn. Load up the cooler, blankets and kids and head out for a fun evening under the stars. Movie sound goes straight to the speakers in your car on a designated radio station. Trash cans at end of each row. On-site diner if you dont want to pack your own snacks.

I love the drive in theater!!! They have great food and even a playground for the kids! Very reasonably priced! You just park at your screen and tune your radio to the assigned station. I have been several times and will continue to go!

Weve gone there a few times. Its a great place to go. You can stay in your car, or take chairs and sit outside. They have a snack bar, but they are only serving popcorn and hotdogs right now. They also have a playground, but again because of Corona its closed. We take our own food. They allow it right now. If you sit outside in back of your truck or on chairs. Just remember to take a radio so you can hear the movie.

Came into Lubbock from Big Spring only because of this theater. They have great prices and a good menu. The quality of the theater is great. We go to a drive-in in Houston and as much as we love going there the theater quality isnt so great, its hard to make out exactly what is going on. So S&S thank you for the great images on the screen. The taste and portions of popcorn is what I love about going to the movies. So one thing that will keep me away from a theater and not want to return is the popcorn. The portions are small, and they are already in boxes ready for the customers. It is not very flavorful and I didnt see an option to add butter like all the other theaters. So for that reason I cant say Ill want to come back .

It was wonderful to get to go see a movie again. I love going to the Stars Stripes, you can sit out in the open air with your friends; of course we social distanced. The movie I Still Believe was excellent. If youve never been to the drive in youre missing a wonderful old fashioned experience !

This brings back child hood memories! And my younger years taken my son to the drive-in. Price for two movies is great! The food is good and hot, and an old fashion chocolate shake? Amazing! Thank you for making this old guy feel like a kid again! God bless!

Great experience here. Taking all the proper measures to ensure health and safety after reopening post-cocod-lockdown. And.. Shout out to Cory... when we realized our car didn’t have its antennae and we couldn’t receive the signal, he came out with a hanger and some foil and rigged us up thank you so much!

It is so much fun going to this drive in! Not only do you get to be close with family and friends in a new and different atmosphere, you get to see the big West Texas sky.

The website needs work. The facility is nice. The screen 3 had weird lines in it. The movie we saw was Ford v. Ferrari. It was terrible but thats not S&Ss fault. I would come back for a better movie!

I totally enjoyed the drive-in movies at Stars & Stripes. First time at a drive in and totally enjoyed myself. The concession made the burgers and shakes the old time way and truly added to the experience.

Get there EARLY, ideally in a Tesla EV! The only thing I dont like about the drive-in is all these cars running their internal combustion engines, otherwise their batteries go dead watching double-feature movies. Perfect for a hybrid or electric vehicle with the battery capacity to run for the entire film. That being said, Stars & Stripes is an awesome experience, and the owners are super cool. Buy your tickets online and arrive before 9pm to avoid waiting in the line for all three screens. Great value for two movies!

It was very enjoyable, the food was good and the facitilaties were clean and the atmosphere good. The sound over the radio and picture on the screen was great. Had a really good time

Phenomenal place. Moviea were amazing. The parking was great. The food area was great with lots of friendly helpful people. The staff was knowledgeable and quick. The items you purchase are well worth it and are given to you in pouches that are easily carried back to your vehicle with no problems.

This was a pretty great experience and will be returning! We have a 2 month old but had to see Avengers: Endgame and this was perfect for that. We were able to sit in our car and watch the movie without disturbing others with the baby... I just with others were more considerate. The car in front of us could not figure out how to turn their lights off so that was annoying. The theater has bumps to elevate the front of your car to give you a better view which is awesome. Many people brought folding chairs and sat outside their car to watch the movie. We did not get any food or drinks from the concessions stand but will next time and we did not see any signs saying no outside food/drinks so we brought McDonalds with us and ate in our car. Great place and will be coming back repeatedly.

My family loves this place when its not cold. Prices are great for two movies and the concession food and prices are spot on. Certain screens do show brighter than others but you can still see it fine. I mean getting the opportunity to have to drive in experience is what is great about it. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have 3 screens and lots of parking space. Enjoy!

My grandson and I watched several movies here this summer. We really enjoyed play ground especially tether ball.I wish more parents/grandparents supervised their children and taught them not to destroy other peoples property.

We had a great date night! We love the corn fritters. If I had to criticize this place. It wouldnt be service, the food or the cleanliness. I would give a thumbs down because I love butter on my popcorn!!!!

My car died and they came out and jump started it for me! I was so scared I was going to be there all night, but they saved me. Great place to go! Way better that going to theaters because you get 2 movies cheaper than 1!

I have been here several times and have always enjoyed it. Part of that might stem from the nostalgia of my youth but I have a great time watching movies with this platform.

Very friendly staff and extremely clean facility! They offer free jump-starts if your vehicles battery dies during the movie which is really nice of them. The only thing that could be improved is having a brighter picture. Other than that, I cant wait to come back!

A fun night out, just like we had as kids in the 70s. No speakers to hang on the window here. Just tune in on your car FM dial. A drive thru at the snack bar would be a good improvement, otherwise all was good.

You cant beat the price of two first run movies (usually) for $8. Thats unheard of in these times. Where regular theaters are charging $8.50 for one movie. The facilities are always clean. The people working there are always nice, and want to help you as much as possible. The food is delicious and always made to order. They have a wide selection of candies to choose from. I love the Drive-In! :)

Always a wonderful experience. I have been there a few times in my short time up here, and it is great. The staff there are friendly, courteous, and certainly helpful.The pizza so far is my favorite meal there, though the fries are seasoned and tasty. The funnel cake is very very great. The price for most items is very reasonable, especially compared to other movie establishments.There are three screens, and you pay for two movies (ultimately $4 a movie if you can stay up). This is my only slight annoyance, and that is I usually have not liked the pairing of the two movies. Though I usually am there for the one movie, so no big deal.Great people, place, and pricing.

We love the drive in. It is great because we can take our son with us and not have to get a babysitter. We also love to take our own food and drinks to save money.

I would have given this a higher rating, but I could not due to the horrendous picture quality of their movies. No matter where you view their movies, whether its front row or a few rows back, you will spend majority of your time squinting because of the low lighting on the screen. Especially if you are viewing a scene that is in a dimly lit location, you will be unable to make out anything on the screen. Also, the pairing of their double movie attractions could be better organized. You would think that the best option would be is to pair blockbuster with another blockbuster, or similar movies together (Avengers:Infinity War/Ant-Man and the Wasp)However, I will give credit where credit is due in relations to their pricing, customer service, on-screen presentations, play area for children, and food outlet. Unfortunately, I dont believe I will be coming back until they have improved the brightness on their screens.

Cant watch a movie any classier than the drive in. And its a nice touch, that they can help jump start your car if you need it. Great snack and drink selection too at the concession . wouldnt hurt to bring ur own portable radio,if your outside your vehicle.cant beat the prices and get 2 movies out of it.

Best drive in Ive ever been to! What makes this location different are the hills you park on. It allows you to see the screen no matter the size of the car or where you park! The food is pretty good, just bring your own drinks. The only thing I dont love are the lack of signs/arrows for the exits- if youre new just follow other cars out.

If were going out to the movies, were coming to the drive in! Two flicks for the price of one, the food is decently priced, nice play area. Staff on standby if your battery dies. Love that this is still a thing!

Was fun but didnt like how people were smoking around my vehicle while I had my children with me I realize thats not this establishments fault however we still enjoyed our visit great food at the Cafe

Love to visit the drive in, its always fun. The 70s style cafe is fun place to grab something to go(like the hot chocolate esp on cold days)People are always friendly and accommodating and the feeling of watching movies under the stars is unbeatable!The mosquitoes can be a pain though, wish they had some citronella sprays to rid of them mosquitoes

Great food, can’t beat the ticket prices. Great place to bring my infant when we can’t make it to the actual movie theater. Only wish screens could be a bit brighter.

Great option for toddlers who have trouble sitting in a traditional movie theater..... plus great food and love the playground just wish they would enforce the age limits for the playground because when we went we say a big group of high school kids on playground but luckily my son was asleep so he didnt see the playground.

Stars and Stripes is a drive in movie theater my whole family enjoys. They have good food in their cafe, a nice playground, and plenty of options for parking. I had no idea they offered party packages until we went to see the Incredibles 2! I have added a photo of the party packages.
