First time back since beginning of Covid-19, great to see a first run film on the big screen. Tinseltown was super clean, there was plenty of social distancing, and everyone (staff and patrons alike) were observing the mask requirements. Currently, the snack menu has contracted but they have expanded menu of adult beverages so, for us, its a decent trade-off. All in all, a very good experience.

Great theatre! Love recliner seats. Relax and you cant see people in front of you or have anyone hit your seat from behind. Clean theatre.

The theater seems very clean and plenty of hand sanitizer is available everywhere. Every door is open throughout the theater so you dont have to worry about touching any handles. They are doing a great job of keeping everyone safe!

Great theater and the staff are really friendly. The lady helping us, Jasmine, was really friendly and patient with us. Definitely coming back again. Also I love the extent theyve gone to, to keep the theater clean and sanitized.

I had this rated at 5 stars at one point but I ended up changing it to 1star it deserves none I ended up buying 11 tickets online and ended up being told by person at booth and manager that my daughter who is 3months old was not allowed in theaters because of the Rated R movie I could understand if it was a scary movie or what not . It was a action movie that we wanted to see me and my husband tried to go and spend time together at the movies with our baby cause we dont have family to watch her and spend time together and to be told something like this! She is a little baby who is innocent and for us to be turned down like that was rude,and on top of this there were other parents who brought there baby into the theaters

Good atmosphere. The workers were pleasant and helpful. Theatre was comfortable I liked the reclining chairs. A little too many previews for me but other than that a nice experience.

Have been going here for years but since the renovations this place has been amazing! You can get a daiquiri and then put your feet up in the lounge chairs! I’m a movie club member and it is so convenient being able to do everything online and save my seat way ahead of time.

Seats were great! food counter couldve been a little more prepared.... It was a Saturday and nothing was ready except popcorn and candy,.... Had to wait for any real food to be prepared.... And one of the butter stations was empty

Watching a movie in a recliner with no view of anyone in front of you?! Yes! Awesome theatre with reserved reclining seats. Each row has a small wall in front of it, making contact with the seats in front of you a non-issue. Wish every theatre had reclining seats.

Very nice place to go watch movies. I do not like the way the lines are directed through the concession stand. It gets very congested and people in line have to move out of your way for you to exit out of the area.The seats are very comfortable and roomy.You are also able to reserve your seat ahead of time.

Unfortunately theatre was cold. Coming Attractions audio was very painfully loud and unhealthy. Audio level of A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood dropped down so low the dialogue could not be heard. Staff very courteous, food delicious, but it was an unsuccessful experience for us.

Saw Disney The Lion King 2019 this morning with FUMC, awesomeness!Recliners with armrest that pulls up to snuggle with my grandson, cup holders, refills for popcorn and drinks, sweet tea awesome, plenty of room so you dont feel packed in, great sound, color and clarity. Not too many people per theatre and barriers between rows cuts down on human disturbances. Loved it!

Oh the seats.. amazing. Saw a scary movie while a little buzzed from a chocolate martini from Stellas on my 21st birthday. Possession of Hannah Grace, check! Love Tinseltown? Yes! Annoy my husband with flash photography before the movie previews even start? Check! (No one was in the theater but us, he still gets annoyed lol) (I blame it on the alcohol) thanks Tinseltown!

The best theater in Lubbock to watch a movie. The atmosphere is awesome and the experience is 2and to none.

Recently updated, added some beer on tap. Seats comfortable, location isnt great at night though.

I always love it, because you pick where you want sit and never have to wait in line for tickets. Love seats as well they are comfortable.

Good seats, like the ability to reserve seats in advance. Normal prices on food and beverages. Clean restrooms. Lots of parking. Only real negative is Cinemark has a weird layout the way they have the individual theaters laid out. Takes a moment to get your bearings.

Tinseltown is a great place to take in a movie! From Slaton its the closest theater but also one of the nicest ones in The Lubbock area.

Really like the reclining seats and the picture and sound quality is great! Refreshments are a little pricey, almost $5 for a small bottle of water.

We absaloutly love coming on Tuesday for $5 movie nights. An we have the movie club membership so we get a free ticket every month An they role over if we dont use them An we get discounts on snacks.

I personally love how the seats go back with a button. Very comfortable. Also, the prices are good, the screen is bright and clear, the volume isnt too loud. Nothing to complain about.

One of the best movie theaters in Lubbock. The concession stand has a good variety of snacks. The staff is always very friendly. The new reclining seats are definitely a great addition and very comfortable to sit in. The overall cleanliness is the only thing that needs improvement. There is always trash left in the aisles and the restrooms are very messy.

I have to say the loungers are comfortable but that was offset by the people talking during the movie and on their phonesAbout halfway through the movie the kid next to me thought it was fun to run his lounger all the way up or all the way down and keep holding the button so it would pop continuously. I know its not the theatres fault people wont control their kids but it did have a pretty big negative effect on my movie experience.

Normally this is my favorite theater but was upset about my last visit . Apparently going to a late show limits your concession choices. I understand closing duties but the oven choices and hotdogs were shut down at 10:15 pm when we went for a 10:30pm show. My group i was with were very disappointed. Why even have a huge menu if you shut it down early!! Makes no sense, will definitely give movies 16 or premier cinema my business as i know they dont close their food options early !! Be warned if you go late you only get popcorn, nachos or some old pizza thats been under a heat lamp!!

I really love this movie theater cause its so nice and relaxed like you can bring little kids here or old people. Everyone is gonna enjoy it and the chairs they put in the theater are soft and always super clean. If you grab a popcorn and your favorite soft drink and pick a movie, then your gonna love it.

Nice and clean movie theater. Food is a little bit more pricey than compared to some of the other local theaters.

With the adds, movie trailers and then more adds the movie starts about 20 minutes after advertised time. Really like the chairs and the room so put up with all the adds.

Wife and I love going to the movies here. Always enjoy it. Never have had any complaints.

My go to theater! I dont partake of the concession, but they have a good selection of items.I love the seating and size of the screening rooms.

Restrooms in poor repair. Electrical outlets hanging out of walls, hand dryers falling apart, urinals leaking and running. Theater and seating ok, frequently find broken seats.

This theatre has wonderful large reclining seats, ample space between rows, and you get to pick your seats when you purchase tickets. Brilliant!They have a full concession stand with everything from popcorn to adult beverages.Weve enjoyed several movies here. I have not heard one complaint regarding temperature, though, I always bring a sweater just in case.Staff were pleasant and efficient!

Bought tickets ahead of time by a day the worker printed tickets for the day I went they put 3 seats on hold for me i call and tell them Im not going to make it Ill go sometime during the week to pick up tickets the worker dont tell that to there manager so I completely missed out on 3 tickets because there workers cant do there job right.... bad experience go to Alamodraft house or the mall way better

I like Tinelstown; however the personnel staff are not very friendly. Today I witnessed 7 little girls and their parents, so excited to be here to watch a movie. It was at 9:45 in the morning, which there are no posted hours anywhere, not even online. The staff didnt have the decency to come out to tell the family that they were not open yet. The family just left, the kids were so disappointed. My wife and I figured that it was closed and waited until it opened. We watched while customer after customer came to the theater with no decency what so ever. If the other two theater venues would have amenities like Tinseltown I wouldnt come here but the amenities are just better here. You better believe when the staff treat me like crap, I will treat them the same way. AGAIN, IF TINSELTOWN WOULD JUST POST THEIR HOURS SOMEWHERE ON THEIR WINDOWS AND ON THEIR WEBSITE!

The seats are really comfortable. The only negative I have with it is that they need a way to keep audiences quiet. I went to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters and throughout the entire film people would not shut up. Also someone brought there baby. To a Godzilla movie. That baby was naturally terrified and screaming any time Godzilla was on screen. These are the types of audiences where the theater needs to start kicking people out. Sadly that didnt happen and the movie was thoroughly ruined.

Everything you expect from a middle-grade movie theater is here. It serves its purpose and isn’t unpleasant at all, image quality is superb and the adjustable seats are nice.

Great movie selections, steep concession prices on par with most major theater chains.The new recliner seats at alright and comfortable for anyone under 6. No neck support for anyone over 6 unless we slouch which makes the more comfortable chair even less comfortable.

Really good quality place, the chairs are amazing, screens dont flicker, etc. The atmosphere of the place feels very welcoming.The chairs are actually electronic, they lean up and back with a button press.Didnt try the food as I was already full but it looked like usual movie theater food, just more of it.Quite recommended overall though!

Very good movie theatre. Has good discounts for students and fair prices in general. Also, good quality of projection and sound. I just wish they cleaned arm rests better after people leave. Sometimes arm rests are greasy because of popcorn or other foods people eat and they dont clean.
