Very well kept! The oval-ish? walking path was the perfect size for my wife and i to keep an eye on the kiddo who trotted off in the opposite direction.

Great park for spend time with family and children. Parking is free. Very good surroundings environment. Evening time is good for visit. Football, multiple tennis courts, basketball, baseball, 1 miles walking ramp( 1 round = 0.5 mile). Very good and big children’s play area.

Nice place to walk alone w a friend or furry friend. Pickle ball courts are nice. Restrooms are at opposite side of parking, not sure if they are currently (July 2020) open. Benches along paved loop & a few picnic style. Does have a small playground. Quiet neighborhood surrounds.

This was a great place!! We love coming to this local park! The swings and paved path are wonderful. If you want to have a picnic there are plenty of picnic tables.

Very nice park, grounds well kept, good walking trail, area for children,& plenty of parking spaces. Also shady areas to have lunch. We’re going back soon.

A slightly hidden gem. No, its not the big, fancy park like you find downtown or o. The East End. Instead, it is a quiet park with a pavilion, a walking track, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground.

Since this park is around the corner from me, I love it. Its my favorite dog walking park. Keep up the great work yall in Louisville Metro.

Ive enjoyed Des Pres for decades. Its a fun and convenient oasis in the Hikes Point - St. Regis Park area for all ages.

Playground and sports places are closed but you can walk around the path as long as you practice social distancing.

A great walking park for dogs. I havent picniced there,though. Quiet,grassy,in good condition, and clean. If I had a car,Pop and I would walk there.

I would appreciate it if dog walkers would pick p their dogs poop. Some of them think they own the park and the world owes them a clean up crew. Likely the same people who throw cig butts out car windows.

I have been coming to this park for most of my life. It has really evolved into a wonderful place for children and adults to play.

There is nice nice ground for kids and a place with tables for adults too. We had breakfast and he played there. I liked it.

I had a really good walk on the track...I just wish everyone walked in the same direction.

The jogging trail is great and the kids loved the play area.

Nice smaller park with large playground, tennis court, basketball area, baseball diamond with bleachers and clean restrooms. Best 2 mile paved walking track and shady areas to park and eat lunch. Definitely a great neighborhood amendment.

Excellent half mile track with great shade in certain areas. Very unique playground a activities and sometimes they show movies in the park. Perfect star gazing location as well.

We came here for a birthday party. We love parks so its hard to say anything bad. My son loved playing.

This is a small relatively clean public park convenient to Taylorsville rd. Amenities at this park include: Basketball courts, Tennis courts, Pickleball courts (pickle ball is kind of like a mix between tennis and ping pong, i was watching some people play and it looked like a blast, look it up if youre interested), a nice sized playground, open geeen space, and more.

Plenty space to run, with courts for basketball, tennis and volleyball, a lane to run or do some biking, nice playground for kids although not very big

Grass not getting cut regularly.Not enough trash can stationed around walking trail. This could be why the park is covered in Dog feces.

This is a small little gem of a park for a walk. There are tennis courts (x3-4), petite area for the children to enjoy. There is a ball field as well.GREAT FIND

This park has tennis courts, basketball court, baseball fields, playground, walking/jogging trail, and an open field for whatever. Good place for when youre looking to get out of the house and burn a few calories. I dont believe that I have ever seen it packed. You will frequently see people there with their pets.

I love this park. Very serene. 2 laps is 1 mile. Lots of trees. A nice place to relax and get some exercise.
