BEST pilot ever! And my qualifying testament to that is that I put my 4 children into his capable hands for over 90 minutes of combined flight time. Steve also took the time to get to know us, answer our questions, pose for photos, and showed us the sights of Louisville from the sky. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Steve and his classic biplane, so much so, that we are all ready to go again soon! Cannot recommend him enough! Thank you Steve, from the Jary family!

Highly recommend!! My husband and I took our 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son for a ride! We took two separate rides and all four of us loved it! It was much less scary than we thought it might be. The pilot was very knowledgeable and took great care of us! So glad we did this and would recommend it for anyone looking for an adventure!

Amazing flying experience! The pilot, Steve, was very professional and experienced. Very fun for date nights, anniversarys, etc. My wife and I just flew with them and had an absolute blast!

One word: AWESOME experience. We did it in a mid November, temperature was low 50s and it was not cold at all. It stays very heated some how. If you have longer hair wear a hat, I have short hair and couldnt even put me fingers through it after the flight. Just saying.

This is by far Thee BEST Tour ever!!! I decided to take my fiancé for a surprise ride because he is a lover of aviation! Steve is absolutely AMAZING! He is very knowledgeable and he did a GREAT job! This was an absolute amazing experience that we decided to do. We were looking for things to do and decided to do it last minute. The owner was so sweet and fit us in. To my surprise it was extremely AFFORDABLE. We thought why not? Its a once in a life time experience probably, we should do it. We had a blast. The owner is the pilot and has been a pilot for over 30 years I believe. He was a very knowledgable man of the area and his niece is actual none other than the actress Jennifer Lawrence. He is very proud of her and it was adorable. The aircraft itself is a beautiful double winged, red biplane from 1934. The take-off and landing was absolutely smooth. When we landed I thought there was going to be some bumps and be a little rough, it was actually smoother than any commercial landing I have ever experienced. When we were up in the sky having the birds eye view of the city, the bridges, the river and Church Hill Downs was breath taking. You can also have the option to have in-flight pictures and video which honestly was pretty cheap. If you have a chance to go do this, you need to go! I think it is an absolute must do when going to Louisville, KY! I put it in the top 5 things to do in KY for sure.

Its a great time. The pilot was good natured and we even got a little adventurous at my request (and begrudgingly by my wife *chuckle).Its a gorgeous old plane and the tour was so much fun.

What a great experience. Flying in a Waco BiPlane! What a wonderful time. Steve from Classic BiPlane Tours, took us up for a 30 minute ride over Louisville and it was great. Steve was very careful and helpful in helping my wife in the two person cockpit in the front (tight but not uncomfortable for two medium size people). Wind in your hair, nice and slow on a beautiful clear day. Could not have ask for a better ride and thrill of flying in a historic aircraft.

Classic Biplane is a once in a lifetime experience. Soaring the skies at just over 2,000 feet the views from the cockpit are breathtaking. Highly recommend taking a tour whether your visiting from out of town or a local louisvillian!

My girlfriend and I both took a tour with Classic Biplane Tours and absolutely loved it. I surprised her with it for her law school graduation. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to Louisville before we move. The pilot was very nice and communicated with us during the flight. They have headsets on the plane and you can hear the ground control people, which was really cool. Just be sure to hold on to your phones/wallets/etc while in the air. The wind and chop gets a bit rough depending on the weather. It wasnt enough to be a problem. Just enough to add an extra thrill to the ride. Imagine a bumpy car ride, but in the air.This is a perfect couples event or date!Thanks!
