Enjoyed paying respect to this man who fought for more than just to be a World Champion.He has a very stately memorial with a bench. Well manicured and cared for. There is tasteful landscaping as well as flowers left by an adoring fan.It would be over the top if there were a life size bronze statue of the Champ.

Alis gravesite, in the beautiful Cave Hill Cemetery, is quiet yet powerful place that gives all visitors a sense they remain in the presence of greatness.

It was a snowy day but the grave site is beautiful. It overlooks a stream and the sound of the water is very relaxing. I recommend checking out cave hill cemetery even if you dont have any loved ones buried there. Very beautiful park setting.

Place is massive! Go get a map from a security guard. Or else you might not ever find Ali or Col. Sanders

A very serene and calming feeling as you stand there in take in the gravesite of the greatest of all time, Muhammed Ali.

Beautiful cemetery, nice grave setting for the Olympic light-heavyqeight and 3 time Heavyweight Boxing Champion. Easy to find and on a corner allowing you to come to it from two different directions. Comes with marble benches to sit and reflect. When we were there there was small butterfly and bee flags planted out front of his grave.

I was there.. The resting place of my idol, it was glorious.. The birds sang Ali! Ali! Ali!.. The wind blew Ali!!!... You need to visit, you need to see my idols resting place.. Its nothing but the greatest

Beautiful place overlooking a pond. This was an unexpected stop one afternoon while in the area on business. This cemetery is the largest I have ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous and diverse. An amazing place to visit as a whole and Alis resting place was no different. Definitely worth a visit while in Louisville KY.

We really like it.

Its a very isolated and serene spot within the cemetery, very shaded, quiet and well kept for obvious reasons. It is most sorrowful that a human with such a stage truly believes what the tombstone says....that we can earn our way to Gods righteousness and eternity with him in Heaven. We cannot, that is not the gospel and nullifies Jesus death and resurrection (which of course cannot be nullified). It is not based on our efforts, but purely faith in Jesus and HIS sacrifice and efforts not ours. So this tombstone serves as a great warning. RIP Mr. Clay.

We stopped by shortly before close so we didnt get much time but it was still really amazing to see! This cemetery closes early so make sure you check the hours.

Very hard to find and get to inside the cemetery. Beautifully done but not what I expected. I thought there would be a statue if him as a boxer in the site but there werent any or pictures or anything. I loved the message on his stone.

This is a beautiful peaceful resting place for a great sportsman. On a slight hill,overlooking a small lake. From the blue line turn on the red broken line at section R, S, T and U is on the other side of the lake right next to the road. When I visited his grave site in May, it was covered in multi colored rose petals.

This is an absolutely beautiful cemetery and home to several of Louisvilles famous inhabitants.

It took me 50min,of false information from the GPS,IN THE CEMETARY!!!I finally asked a jogger who steered me in the right direction.Security helped after.Has to be in my top 6most impressive cemetaries I ever visited.Alis gravesite was special yet modest,,going back soon.
