I was very curious to see where my hometown hero resided when he was a youth. So i went to see where the legendary Muhammed Ali grew up and, to walk the same street as he. May he rest in peace. You are so very missed champ. Amen.

This place is nothing short of amazing. The best museum dedicated to the life of an African American hero that I have ever visited. If you are in the city - make sure you check this place out. And please purchase something, its for a great benefit. He sacrificed so much, the least we can do is appreciate him.

It was amazing to be able to see the house staged like it was when Ali lived there. Awesome place to visit.

It was good. There is A LOT of reading and videos. Thought it would have more memorabilia but only a very few items. Also disappointed that it didnt discuss his association with Howard Cosell, not even a blurb. The video ring where you can watch some rounds of boxing matches was great. Elevator from parking garage was out of service when we were there on 2/17/19 so a lot of stairs to climb to get to the entrance. If you are a fan it was worth a one time stop.

MOVING EXPERIENCE! If you havent been you have to go. We got there at 4:30 p.m. and had to rush through our guided tour, but the tour guide, pictured in the middle below, was accommodating, kind, and charismatic! If youve been b4, you already know that you have to get there again, but b4 5 p.m.

As you pull up there a gentleman on the porch waiting to greet you. You immediately feel welcomed upon arrival. Its kind of pricey and very limited parking. I thought the price was high for a tour considering it such a small tour. They should clean up the area surrounding the house. I gave them five stars because it newly opened andb the gentleman on the porch made it worth my money. The two tour guides did an awesome job and they were knowledgeable about the house.

This is the childhood home of Mohammad and Rahaman Ali, then known as Cassous and Rudy Clay. A childhood friend was our tour guide while we were there and was a delight to be there with. The home has been refurbished to how it was during the Clays childhood as much as is possible. Using period pieces when actual family pieces were not available. The house is small but the tour is very well put together and presented with a feel about the Clay family that one can not get elsewhere. The history learned here was a great addition to what we had learned at the Mohammad Ali Center downtown the day before and was worth the admission charge. After our tour we were getting ready to go back next door and buy a book and magnet when our tour guide told us I believe thats Rahamans car we went into the house (its where the gift shop and tour purchase is) and there sat Rahaman and his wife! I can not even tell you the amount of love and sweetness that just pour out of this mans eyes alone. Without a word spoken I felt like I was with a good human being. When he spoke his eyes smiled and his heart poured out. This was the highlight of our trip to Louisville without a doubt..... And we had a wonderful trip all around.
