From the trails to the creek me and my kids absolutely love Broadway run. Theres hardly any food traffic on the wooded trails. We love going down and playing in the creek all day

This is an amazing park! They have everything from hiking trails, playground, fishing ponds, a splash park, and my personal favorite, kayakin . g! If you have never been there you are missing out because this is one of the best parks in Kentucky!

I love this park!! There are so many trials for biking, walking and running! Floyds Fork runs right through it. Its awesome for fishing, kayaking and just taking a dip too.

Beautiful & well maintained park! So many different things to do in this park that vary in difficulty levels from paved paths, to mulch and gravel, to natural hiking trails with a variety of slopes and inclines

Woodkands Pavillion is the perfect place for any large outdoor event. Near a beautiful walking trail thats not a difficult walk for anyone. Many sitting areas along the trail with great vistas. Great for bird watchers and plant geeks. Next to a Splash Park for the kids.

My favorite park in Louisville. Plenty of open space to do whatever sports activity you want to do with kids. Great trails for running or biking. Some of the trails are through the woods and have 100% shade.

This was our first time and we only had time to see the beginning of the Park. We cant wait until we go back to explore more areas! You can canoe, kayak, and fish. Plus so much more!!

Really enjoyed our morning stroll here! The trail was nice and shaded for the most part. I don’t think Google Maps seems to know there is an entrance just south of the Glenmary area on Bardstown. We just moved here and noticed it was 2 minutes down the road, but Google seemed to want us to go north on Bardstown and take 20 minutes to get there? Well anywho it’s a beautiful park and we will be there weekly now!

A great mix of natural packed dirt trails meandering by a river. Walked close to 5 miles and saw lots of nature. Lovely and easy walking.

Very clean, well kept and nice park. New playground and splash park. Alot of seating, shaded area with picnic tables. Has a small park for younger children and one for older children. Has been packed each time we have been here. My son loves coming to this park and splash park. Has nice trails as well.

This place is great for a pretend getaway .

I love coming here just to walk on all the various trails that they have some are paved and some arnt my favorite are the unpaved ones the dirt paths you can follow. Its a great place to get exercise or to just walk with your dogs and kids. They have a playground for the kids as well and if you wanna ride you bike you can and if you have a problem that can be fixed fairly easily they have some tools such as screwdrivers around the park.

This is the best park around. Its me and my sons favorite place to go. Especially in summer so we can swim in the creek. Must go if you have never been

Great place to go if you want to explore nature and if you want to take good pictures. There is forests, creeks, and fields and lots of walking trails to go through all of them.

Great place for hiking, biking, running/walking, and kayaking. Trails are large and wide for everyone to use.Play grounds and water spray park available for familys to enjoy.Great kayaking spot as its large and current is not too strong where you can relax and enjoy nature and being on the water.Wish they would do movie nights as it would be a great spot for every to watch and enjoy.

This park is one of the most prettiest parks in this area. We love coming here with our dogs. Our kids like to take the nature pictures here, and we like to come as often as we can.

Beautiful park. Great for family events picnics or just relaxing. Great facilities for all types of weather . Kids water park, bicycle lanes, plenty of parking, public bathrooms, water fountains, pet friendly. Beautiful landscaping, wide open fields, walking trails, hiking trails, rental facilities for large events. This is a privately funded park so please donate. Something for everyone.

The Louisville park system is awesome. So much to do and well taken care of facilities constantly expanding to provide something for everyone. Broad run is the most recent addition that connects just north of Bullitt county to the parks. Absolutely beautiful all year round.

Beautiful, clean, and theyre always planting more trees. Tons of hiking trails, paved walking/biking paths, great for scenic driving, playgrounds for the kids (or the kid in you), and just a great place to take the family for a day away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Beautiful park. Great place to take children. My son absolutely loves the spray park. Its conveniently located right beside the playground area. So once hes done getting wet, hell change, and well head over to the playground to play some more.

Love this park! Kids love the splash pad and the variety of play equipment that they have! The park is clean and peaceful, great place for a family day out!

Our favorite park with literally everything

600 acres and they cant set aside a little area for quad-copters to be allowed to fly. I can understand not letting planes as they are straight line for the most part and are more susceptible to flying off miles away, but quad-copters (drones) are a different creature. They move on all three axis and are a lot easier to contain in a general area.

Its a great place to take a young one fishing go kayaking they have a splash park and lots of different attractions if you go on down to the next section theres an old Silo that you can climb to the top for overlook huge Lawns and picnic areas walking biking trails its very nice

Our entire family loves this place and we go with the kids and dogs often to hike or run or float on the river. Really clean, well kept, and beautiful.

Walking trail, playground, ample covered space, ample green space, sprayground, flat areas for things like learning to ride a bike and picnics. This is a very nice park.

My family and I love this park! Its very clean and taken care of! My 2 year old loves the splash park! Wish there were more of a toddler section but its still a blast!

Awesome park with tons to do! It can get super busy on the weekend near the playground and splash ground which are great for the kids and there is equipment for ALL ages and nice bathrooms as well. I would complain that people do not always follow the rules and I have not seen anyone there to enforce them so there are people smoking near the play areas and pets that enter sometimes. I have hiked several trails and they are really clean and have clear markings and many areas to look out on. There is ample parking and if busy it can be hard to get out of the park. Great place to go for family time.

Nice park!Lack of facilities for families, one restroom per sex. Standing in line for families changing clothes while your bladder stretches, I suppose that is the reason the bathrooms smell like urine. Not a good set up!
