Molly Stark was once a large tuburculosis hospital, then a sanitorium, orphanage, home and school for the disabled and then a nursing home. It has such a long history in Louisville, Ohio. Its terribly sad to see it in such disrepair. They tried to make it nicer by creating a park around it on the grounds. With a single bench and not much else, along with the lovely addition of a 6ft chain link fence topped with barbed wire around the distressed main building, it leaves much to be desired. For a well off town who put thousands into a brand new stadium just a few years ago, youd think they would have, could have, done more.

Interesting/creepy place to see. Unfortunately you can’t get too close because of the fencing but it’s really a cool looking place!

This is an amazing place - filled with history and wonder. It is such a shame it cant be used for tours or entertainment purposes. I love walking the grounds here and taking it all in.

This place is definitely not haunted. And dont try to break in because the rangers will arrest you..

Beautiful Historic Park. Great for Halloween

Molly Stark is a fun place to visit if you love old historical buildings. But other than the views of the old sanatorium theres not much else in the park. Most of the Sanatorium is fenced off for safety reasons.

Cool old building. Too bad they dont give inside tours though. Fun place to check out and to research and read about.

A lovely park with benches, picnic tables, and a garden. You can walk around the old sanitarium, but sadly it is bad repair and many windows are broken.

Molly Stark Park has had a lot of renovation but the sanitarium is falling to ruin. Real pity a chunk of history decaying.

This is now a park for walks and picnic eating. Plenty of free parking. The hospital has been defunct since 1995.
