I attended a technology conference and it was an amazing venue. The staff was professional and on top of things, good way great and so were the drinks! Thanks Matrix Integration!

This will be a delightful addition to Louisvilles already impressive music scene. It can accommodate up to 2,000 but also serve smaller community events such as a future show benefiting AMPED, a nonprofit to teach underserved kids musical production. Love the extensive water stations (check out the counter that show how many plastic bottles were NOT used), and the view from the upper balcony, with its revolving nighttime colors. Parking is sparse, so Lyft it. Or park on Barret (many spaces open up at 6) near Louisville Stoneware and walk down the Alley.

I am so excited to have this within walking distance! The space feels new but uniquely Louisville. And heres the kicker: drinks are reasonably priced!

So this venue is awesome! Great set up, staff was very friendly. My only critique is that the ticketing staff needs more communication and organization. Its like outside the building no one has any idea whats going on, but once you get inside its all organized and well planned. We will be back! And the sound system was amazing.

I feel like this is the way one should experience a concert. The establishment was perfect in size, I a way that I actually experienced Dermot Kennedys music. Staff were beyond friendly, overall great experience!

I went here to see NF on September 26th and by the concert was amazing. The facility was really nice as its new. The stage was nice and you could really see a lot even from a distance. Another thing I want to add was even though there were so many people I have to say the facility wasnt overly hot and stayed at a comfortable temperature during the entirety of the concert. If youre planning on going here for any concert or anything this place is really great!

Beautiful venue, very nice acoustics, event staff seemed efficient and prepared, however you have to line up outside to get through security which is uncomfortable during cold/rainy weather, and maybe it was the specific concert (Trampled by Turtles, who were awesome!) but it seemed everyone wanted to talk through the show like it was a bar instead of a concert they had paid money to attend. Is you really want to enjoy the music you might want to look for a more traditional concert venue.

The venue was big and also had a smoking area which was nice so you didnt have to go through security more than once. They have two bars in both sides making it easy to get drinks, and a balcony to see the show from above.

Midsize venue with affordable drinks at the bar compared to concert. The sound is good and atmosphere made for a good show. The security staff was really nice. It was raining the night I was there and security did there best to check everyone and get us through quickly and efficiently.

Great venue. Well thought-out for music lovers. No lines for the bathroom, several bars to access, stage is high so can be seen from anywhere in the venue. We went New years Eve to the Houndmouth show and had a blast.

My first time at the facility. It was impressive and I enjoyed the LO and Gabriel. The only hiccup was the aggressive security which seemed overbearing considering the LO clientele. The facilitys staff could use some training that the LO concerts are not their normal concerts and need to be taken into consideration as some were talking loud, lights being turned on at the end of movements, and digital signage turned on/up during the performance. Despite these bumps, the night was enjoyable in regards to the performances.

Staff was not polite or helpful. Staff continued to noisily admit people during the symphony performances which made it hard to enjoy the music. Staff also carried on personal conversations at volume during the performances. The seating was terrible wood chairs without padding. The experience wasn’t terrible, it was just poorly handled.

Parking is rough and the entrance staff were condescending when I didn’t know the procedures - you’re brand new so how would I? But after that it was great. As always, KCA box office staff are top notch. Overall the venue is surprisingly really cool. If you want to sit, pay extra for the premium. There’s nice couches and chairs. Otherwise, the view is slightly better from GA and it’s a small enough venue to not be overwhelming. Bourbon selection is pretty decent, though there’s nothing special/rare.

What an amazing team of designers, architects, engineers and promoters that have come together to make this Louisvilles premier concert venue! Way to go you guys! You wouldnt believe what this area looked like 5 years ago and I look forward to seeing what it looks like 5 years from now! Contemporary, open, airy and clean lines!

Wanded and patted down a 4 year old for a ballet performance.Overbearing unprofessional security and everything in and around the building is branded Old Forester. The multitude of ads every where is distracting.6 off duty cops and hired security out front plus more posted inside. The hired security joked about opening an ebay store with items confiscated from people entering venues.

I attended the Kingfish pre-opening (which I REALLY enjoyed!) and then decided to get a ticket to the Trombone Shorty event, knowing it was a standing venue. Being in my mid-70s, I even opted to splurge and get a VIP ticket so I could have a seat once in a while. I was told at the Box Office that there were no VIP tickets. Yet, the whole balcony was filled Tuesday night as a VIP section - who does one have to know to get one? Yes, there are folding chairs available for handicapped, but none of my group wanted to fake it and take away a seat like taking a parking space.I urge them to offer some other seating options - my generation STILL loves music! We also learned our lessons about hearing loss from amplifiers, so seating at a distance is also appreciated. Balcony seating - like that at the Kingfish event - would be my preference. It was still a great time - albeit with aching feet and back. Love the screens and all the amenities, especially being able to refill cups at the water stations (or add water to the generous drinks).
