Great older concert hall. The acoustics (for me) are good, the history of the place and layout are great. I prefer the balcony seating for the view. There are lots of places to get drinks and you are in the heart of Fourth Street so getting a bite to eat before a show is easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed the theater. It is well laid out with ample access to get a beverage (adult or otherwise). The architecture is amazing! The theater is showing a little wear but it doesnt take away the beauty and craftsmanship used in building this venue. Definitely worth seeing an event here!

We saw RBRM here and they put on a really good show. This was my first time coming to this venue and i must say i was impressed. The sculptures and paintings were amazing. The seats could have been bigger but basically every seat was a pretty good view. The sound was good too and the staff was helpful.

Absolutely stunning inside, freon the outside it looks like a normal theater. Once you walk in, you want to pull your phone out and start snapping pictures. The architecture is beautiful, the painted ceilings, the statues, and then the shows. They have great management team that takes care of the customer. Will definitely return.

Great place holding many events, old movies, live performances, etc. we went to see hocus pocus. Picture and sound wad really good. Pictures dont do this place justice, its enormous and you really need to see every detail in person. My only issue for this event was that they were not prepared for as many people to show up and want drinks and food. Concession lines were extremely long. Will definitely be going back, but will probably grab food before I go.

I went to the Palace for their Harry Potter Yule Ball event. As an avid Harry Potter fan, I was not disappointed. They went all out on decor and activities. They had live owls and snakes! Not to mention the amazing dance floor! The Palace staff obviously takes pride in their events and does their best to make your experiences unforgettable!

Beautiful venue for a show. We saw Trevor Noah! The drinks are expensive but lines moved quickly. The restrooms had long lines after the show. One of the stalls didnt lock and was difficult to use that way with huge lines. The restroom was also out of soap. The reason for 4 stars is mainly due to the restroom issues and overpriced drinks. Staff was friendly.

The venue was excellent. The service, however, left much to be desired. The doors did not open until 30 minutes before The Piano Guys started. Trying to get nearly 3,000 people in that time is impossible when they are also running everyone through metal detectors. We were about 10 minutes late getting in, and I would guess some were over 30 minutes late.

Top notch venue! Plenty of seating, reserved and clean. Loved the concerts I saw, and enjoyed the marquee lounge, as it was not crowded and a great place to sit, have a drink while waiting between bands, and/or chill while a show was going on. There are TVs to watch the shows live, free food (you do pay extra for access to the lounge), a pool.table, two bars, and room to stretch out.

Beautiful!! I love going to the Palace for concerts. Because of the seats, its not the greatest for rock shows where you want to mosh, surf, or dance unless you are in the pit. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful! Unlike Louisvilles stadium, the Palace staff are great with helping ADA patrons and do everything they can to make your visit memorable!

The Palace, located in the Heart of Louisvilles downtown commercial district, is an excellent venue for any type of concert. The grand opening of the Palace was in 1928. I can only imagine the excitement of all the attendees. That same excitement is evident today as you watch those who attend events at the Palace marvel at the architectural beauty of this structure. Enjoy a show at The Palace and have a wonderful evening!

Went for The Price is Right Live. It was a good show. The venue is beautiful and is a definite thing to view if you are in the area. What a beautiful, atmospheric, not-a-bad-seat-in-the-entire-place is the Louisville Palace Theatre. If you have any opportunity to see a beloved band here, just do it. Reasonable booze prices, very comfortable seating, great acoustics. Not a bad word to be said from me. Swa Allman Bros and Weird Al a few years back here. Saw King Diamond on Saturday last and going to see Alice Cooper tomorrow. Shinedown in March... all at the palace...great venue for up close and personal rock. Love the place.

Absolutely stunning venue, the closest thing an attendee will get to time travel. The genuine ornate decor, the spacious bar. To sit in the orchestra is to be surrounded by gorgeous statuary and beautiful design. Also the venue is run like clockwork. I love the Palace but we were there for the DWTS show on Saturday, 2/15. They did not open their doors in time to let everyone in for the 8pm show so a lot of people missed the first 20 minutes. They claimed the doors were open at 6pm but multiple people in line were there after 6 and never moved in line. There were also people who ate across the street and said the doors were not open at 6pm like they were claiming. The tickets were expensive so it was unfortunate that we had to miss the opening.

This place is very roomy, has an incredibly beautiful Baroque aesthetic, and is perfectly suited, acoustically-speaking, for live music (and plays, as well, I would assume). As with any other live performance venues, the refreshments sold here are outrageously expensive, but thats the norm, so I cant rate them any lower than similar venues.

The show was great. However, due to security checks, people were still coming in 40 minutes after the show started. It was mass confusion with people standing in the aisle blocking our view. The show was amazing and the venue was beautiful but the wait to get in was horrendous. The line was still down the block and doubled over 5 minutes after it was supposed to start. Maybe they should have opened the doors earlier for a sold out show knowing that everyone had to pass through the rigorous metal detectors and purse checks before you even got to the ticket taker. People still trying to get to their seats and blocking the view four songs into the concert was very distracting and frustrating.
