A tourists attractionIt is exactly what you would expect, nothing tremendous, it is simply a road with stars, each one with a name on it, famous names, still just names.Don’t get me wrong it is a fun activity to walk around, take some pictures, and you might find some look-alikes walking near their stars, which is always fun.

You can’t go wrong in Hollywood, especially visiting the Walk of Fame. Wife and I had a great time. We saw many interesting characters walking the streets imitating their favorite actor. Would have given5 stars, but the walk needs a bit of cleaning. Nothing to discourage us from going again, just needs an occasional cleaning.

Walking on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - with absolutely humongous names, each of which you want to photograph and get your photograph taken with - is an absolutely breathtaking experience. Yes, it can be unpleasant seeing such history roll underneath so many uncaring feet. However, history itself is the panacea. Being surrounded by familiar movie locations - the Dolby Theater nearby with its hand impressions - makes one forget all about everything unpleasant. And you are just you and with you - and nothing - surrounded by glitz, glamor and glory!

A trip to South Gate and the greater Los Angeles area is not complete without a visit to a star-studded attraction. You may not get to see actual celebrities at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but you can see the 2,600 stars dedicated to many of them on a sidewalk along 15 city blocks.During your stroll along the Walk of Fame, you’ll see celebrity look-alikes and have a chance to browse the shops.

Exactly what youd expect, dont go in expecting something overwhelming. Its just a road with some names on them. Granted, theyre famous names, and its a fun hour to wander along pointing out ones you recognize... But its basically like scrolling down a Wikipedia list. Come to say youve been sure, but you wont be dying to come back

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a cool tourist attraction in Hollywood. If youre visiting Los Angeles, and you have never visited the Hollywood Walk of Fame, you need to check this off of your bucket list. Its a cool sight to see. If youre into pop culture and movies, you should take a walk down the Hollywood Walk of Fame and find your favorite movie star.

Iconic attraction to the famous in the entertainment industry in Hollywood, California. Lots of people dressed up as characters looking for some cash for a photo op. The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,690[1] five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street.

What I like to call the Times Square of LA. Tons of action, visual entertainment is all over. Plenty of activities for the entire family. I recommend coming down to the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame for many things. One that I love to do is go for a walk down the strip and read all the names on the street for blocks. It’s amazing how simply walking down the street can be stimulating and a great time. I recommend coming down on the weekend in the summer if you’re looking for action. I also recommend seeing the street when it’s got the red carpet out. It’s something to see.If you’re lucky you can often catch one of your favourite bands performing outside for free. Well worth the visit.I saw Cypress Hill Outdoors here randomly.

Must go. Lives up to the hype. After living in L. A. for a while we tend to forget that this is a city that atleast half the world pays alot of money to visit. & walking on the Walk of Fame is a great reminder of how great our city is, how lucky we are to live here. Great vibe. Great energy. & like the best things in life. Its free.

Being youve seen it on TV growing up its cool to see it. For those who never been its not 1 street its several..cool thing is if yo are looking or a certain celebs star you can Google it and maps will take you to it. Be mindful there is a lot and I mean a lot of homeless people on the walk of fame like an unreal amount. Most of the stars were so dirty you couldnt really tell whos you were looking at. LA needs to have the streets cleaned so that way you can actually see what you came for.

The historic Hollywood Walk of Fame! I went during the morning hours. Traffic was not bad and parking was easy to find. As the day went on, traffic became more congested and parking became more difficult. There were a number of homless that had their stuff strewn across the walking areas. Be prepared for this and dont be shocked. Find a good parking spot and enjoy your time there taking in the sights, landmarks, and stores.

As expected, its a tourist trap with lots of tourists and street performers. Interestingly, the main section is not all that big or glitzy as you might expect - the street level facade is all done up but most of the buildings are 2 or 3 stories high. Stumbling across Donald Trumps start was kind of cool - its located near the Dolby theatre entrance towards Footlockers. I had a couple of hustlers approach me to try sell their mix CDs claiming they performed at some well known events and venues. I just politely declined and They were pretty cool.

I know I know, I was that person that took a picture of EVERY star I appreciated. We walked the entire walk of fame even the side streets. There is something for everyone but definitely got annoyed with the characters asking for a picture. I get it, it’s all in the experience but got annoying. You can see the Hollywood sign from the walk and the Capitol Records building. So many iconic places I’d only seen on TV. We went to Madame Tussaud’s, Hollywood Museum, and so many little shops. I hope you find some of your favorites in my pictures of the stars. 10/10 would recommend, walk the whole thing.

The best time to explore is on Sunday before 10am, because there are so few tourists! Wear comfy shoes and look up into the hills for a glimpse of the Hollywood sign.

From the start, we planned to go here for buying the underpants and the socks. However, all the shops closed cause the time is nearly 10 p.m. So we changed the plan to travel the Hollywood Hall of Fame. It’s so popular and lively during the night. Just like the scenes I saw in the movies. Walking down the street is so comfortable and also trying to see the actor/actress name on the ground stars is so interesting. Well place for hangout during the night.

Lots of fun seeing the stars names along a few blocks of Hollywood Blvd (both sides of the street). What takes away from the experience is the number of people peddling tours along the walk. Every 10 steps theres someone else pushing their tour. I was able to quell some of the requests by taking a brochure from one of the peddlers. I carried it in my hand and other peddlers assumed I had already paid for or taken a tour ans stopped asking. Try it it works.
