Great atmosphere. The building was rented out by a friend if mine and they have such a great setup up and downstairs with such a great atmosphere it is so relaxing.
Everyone was so welcoming here -especially considering they’ve probably never heard of me in their lives LOL I swear I don’t think there was any applause sign on the bottom of the stage or anything. The crowd genuinely had a good time and I look forward to coming back to entertain again!
I love love love the press club! Have tried multiple dishes and is always super delicious. Today, we had chicken meatballs and they were sooooo good!! The servers always make great recommendations on cheese and wines.
Laugh Factory is a well-known comedy club in LA. It was on my bucket list to watch a show here. The club venue has a maximum capacity of 289. It has deluxe, VIP and mezzanine seats. Staff are nice, competent and professional. Ticket prices are relatively fair like $20 and $27 for nonpriority and priority, respectively. Also, a mandatory two drink minimum. Bottled drinks starts at $6. Cocktails is around $14. We enjoyed our night here; lots of fun and laughter. Valet Parking is available. Street parking is difficult. Overall, I recommend this comedy club.
Facebook. You Tube Vendikos Actor. I am a Comedy Actor Facebook Nick Vendikos. Real Michael Averinos Also Nick Name Buster Keaton. Please Follow. Some Day I Would Like to Visit. Keep Laughing
I just randomly met Common, Tiffany Haddish & Paul Rodriguez on Thanksgiving volunteering.
This is a gem of a place! Endless laughs. The comedians are cherry picked and usually give great preformances that are guaranteed to give you an incredible time! The fact that for each show there are 5-6 comedians is an additional advantage because it introduces more variety in style and humour. Parking is not easy around there, but valet is $9. Also you want to get there early because it can fill up quickly and upstairs the view is not great.
Overcharged me for drinks by almost double. Be careful. They will take your card to keep you in your seat and wont deliver the bill until its almost time to go. This is called priority admission.Priority admission can have you sitting in the back of the room. There doesnt seem to be any priority seating. General admission would probably be fine. Best to get there very early and wait outside in line for a half hour to get a good seat.Comics were pretty good but probably not worth the price of admission; intimate setting even though there were a lot of people; bathrooms were clean; servers were friendly; drinks were decent and stiff; but its tough when you get overcharged.Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. So be careful.
The Laugh Factory definitely lives up to its reputation for being one of the best comedy clubs in LA. I went here on my birthday with a couple of friends and it was so much fun. We had a great time laughing at the four different comedians and opening act. The food and drink options are great. I highly recommend this place!
The establishment has a phone message saying no shorts, sandals or hats and this forced us to go buy pants even though our tickets did not mention this at all. Then upon arrival they did not care about any dress code and let board shorts and flip flops in. Good thing we got there very early as some other priority members got stuck in the back. Comedians were top notch and some of the best in the country. 5 stars to the comedians.
This place is AMAZING!! Super easy to find and really reasonably priced from tickets to food and drinks. Pretty cheap. They have great seating, I was comfy and the staff here a super smooth about handling keeping you taken care of the whole time. All around great place. 10 stars and the are also wheelchair friendly
We arrived 2 minutes late (you are right that was our fault) but even though our name on the free guest list they made us pay 50$ (plus the 2 drink minimum per person) to join our friends inside. A BAD experience! We wont go back to this venue...The place is cool though, great crowd, great comedians.
The only reason this is getting 3 stars is because Tim Allen was the bomb! Do not order food. It took so long to get the spinach dip and it was cold and flavorless. Second, purchase the priority ticket for $10 more. Those seats are so much better than the general admission. We got there at 7:01 and the doors opened at 7pm. We thought this was early but boy were we wrong, we got seated in the very back row of booths. Lastly, be weary of the mixed drinks. We got a Moscow mule and it was wretched. The wine was okay but expensive.
The comedians were so great! Unfortunately the staff ruins the playful atmosphere. I have never been to an establishment with such lack of customer service. The staff is not only unfriendly, but I was actually reprimanded for cheering on the act on stage. Wish I could have seen these comedians ANYWHERE else. I would rate this establishment 0 out of 5 stars if it would let me.
The low score is purely for the venue and does not reflect any of the talent that might perform there.the comedians who play there are some of the best in the country so go for that. Laugh factory will treat the customers as cattle. Youll be herded from room to room much like the lines at an amusement park. Additionally there is no parking whatsoever and valet is $10.
Some friends and I decided to hit up the Laugh Factory while in town for a conference. Ordering tickets online went smoothly, and we elected to do will call. Valet was $9, happily paid it and they were moving as quickly as they good. Got there and it was stressful getting in. So many lines going in so many directions and no way to tell where you should be. If you are a regular you may no, but for an out of towner, not possible. Got in, the venue was cool. Two drink minimum thats typical for all clubs. First one was not good, second one was better. Comedians all killed it. Overall good experience but only get 4/5 for the subpar expensive drinks and how confusing and hard it is to get into the venue.
Really cool venue with a big list of celebrity comedians. We went Sunday to the Chocolate Sundaes show. Got to see a friend go on stage and then a variety of other comedians. Two drink minimum was fine and understood, just wish there was a little more variety for people who dont drink alcohol. Stage was well lit and it was easy to view and enjoy. I do recommend VIP seating as you are guaranteed a chair upfront. Get there a little earlier and you may get a small table. If I was in the area, I would definitely stop in again. At $30, it was worth the visit.
I suggest paying the extra $15 for VIP because seating and the design of the place is odd. Super attentive staff. Great comedians. All smiles from my group and me. Affordable valet parking.
Avoid balcony seating at all costs! seriously no reason to have half the seating that is up there its actually cruel to sit someone up there for comedy show, let alone a paying customer. After expressing my grievances with the manager my group of 6 was given decent seats but only after having to bug him twice about it I appreciate that the accommodations were made but I just cant see how they could ever justify putting paying customers up there in such terrible seats.
KRAMER NOOOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CANT SAY THAT NOOOO
Besides having to stand outside for so long. It was great, great drinks and appetizer. Great seating anywhere you sit
I came to my very first comedy show and Kevin Hart shows up!It was great!Minus the major down fall is the seating upstairs the benches make you slip off since they are not wide enough to sit on. I was slipping off the bench the entire night. At least the show was great and Kevin showed up .
The performances were fun to watch. Customer service was awesome. Every seat in the house felt very close to the stage and it gave the sense of closeness to the comedians. If youre visiting LA and you love stand up comedy, you should definitely check it out. Friday is an awesome night to be there to kick start the weekend with a laugh.
I go here at least once a month. The comedians are usually really good, but there can be some off nights if the crowd isnt giving the right vibe. Drinks may be expensive, but they are effective and fun. Overall its definitely a great place to go! They always raffle off prizes and parties as well.
Awesome! Love the Brownish monthly show. I will definitely have to come back. I got to see; Erik Rivera, Frank Castillo, Felipe Esparza and we even got to see the whole cast of Gentified. So amazing!
First time at laugh factory. I pulled up solo. And bought the last ticket for the Bryan Callen show. I ended up sitting front row! Great experience. Show ran late as comedians got bumped but that’s how the game goes. Everyone was funny and I’m excited to go back again. 2 drink minimum!
Unbelievably funny!! Im not sure if you get in if you dont buy the VIP, but the money you spend is worth getting in and finding a good seat. Comedians were hysterical, both hosts were just as funny. There is a 2 drink minimum but doesnt have to be alcohol. A lot of interaction with people in the front row, so if you have thin skin, be warned. If you are ever going to be in the LA area on a Sunday, Chocolate Sundaes is a definite must. You will not be disappointed.
Such an iconic place. Great service, even when jumping-crowded. The only thing, which is not the fault of the club, is that some comics turn appearance of others into pot-shot humor. I didnt like that at all.
Great show, tons of laughs that night.Slightly annoyed with the 2 drink minimum especially if driving. Dont really need 2 soft drinks or 2 waters ($4) for the entire night. It was communicated on their website and on the tickets so cant say they didnt tell us. However I could not find any pricing before hand so did not appreciate that feeling.Overall good experience but perhaps there can be an option to pay slightly more per ticket in exchange for no drink minimum.
Such good comedy - even bigger acts you wouldnt expect. Plenty of seating, even for GA. Bathrooms were clean and the drinks were well priced..happy with the experience!
Had many fantastic evenings of laughter here. Great line ups. Perfect tourist destination as well as a regular for the locals.
Comedians were great. Place was smaller than youd expect, and its very cramped. I also didnt like the fact they make you buy a minimum of 2 drinks. Over all, Id go back.
Saw Preacher Lawson and a few other lineups. Preacher was hilarious! Cool quaint spot.
Love the comedians. Always a good time for a decent price. Weekdays are super chill.
Chocolate Sundaes is one of the BEST shows in town. I have a great time every time! Follow them on IG, they post a lot of good clips and youll see what youre missing.
Tonights show was absolutely amazing! Ive never laughed so hard before! Terran, Alex and the entire lineup was simply marvelous!!! Coming from out of town, (North Carolina), it was definitely worth it!!!
There was a line going down the street but we showed our tickets and were let right in very courteous service great comics had a wonderful night
I could not stop laughing! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The DJ was awesome! Going back for more joy...
I came here on a Saturday night, and the experience was just OK.I had tickets for the 9:30 show on a Saturday night. There was a 7:30 show before me and a 11:30 show after. By 10pm, we still had not gotten all the way into the venue yet, as the 7:30 show got out late. I dont think our show got out until closer to 12:20, so be aware if you do go to a later show. For the 7:30 show, we got there about half an hour early and were lined up pretty far up in the GA line (Id say about front 25-35%). They let the VIP line in first, and then the rest of us. Once I got in, I knew that our seating arrangements would be bad. Essentially, all of the VIP ticket holders got the first floor, where the comics were performing, and everyone else went up to the second floor. The issue is, there is a half circle of seats along the balcony, but thats all youre gonna get for seats that actually have a view. There are seats that sit you back further, but there is no visibility to the stage, so I had to watch the TV screen most of the time. Additionally, people who got there earlier were also saving rows of seats so that kind of sucked.Service was ok. They did push you to get your two drinks fairly frequently. I got a drink, took a while to get, but then within 10 mins she came back asking what I wanted. No issues here for the most part, but when the waitress brought the drinks (at least 8 on a platter), she pretty much just handed the platter in front of us and made us take it off of her. This is pretty difficult to do in the dark and when she has multiple drinks all in on a small platter.Overall, I had a better experience at the Comedy Store. Seating here is not ideal, so if you do want at least a viewable experience, Id recommend getting the VIP or getting here super early that you are one of the first 10 in the GA line.
I went for Chocolate Sunday and it was the best time of my life. I laughed so hard. I went on October 27th and the hosts and comedians killed it! Would love to go again. Keep in mind there is a 2 drink minimum so go with money to spend.
The line-up was great, and the headliner was great too!! Also some funny improv thrown in. Theres some offensive humor here which is exactly what I was hoping for, and overall the performance was worth the money. Just a heads-up, theres a two drink minimum that goes along with the tickets, and the alcoholic drinks tend to be around $10. Not a big deal, but just to let you know.
Came specifically for aHaitian comedy show. It was pretty good. One act was extremely weird and made everyone uncomfortable, but everyone else was great.
Really cool! The comedians were awesome and we got seated quite quickly. However, the choice of beers is not awesome. Note that after your two mandatory drinks, you will need to go to the restroom...just like the rest of the audience - youll have to be patient since there are only few toilets!
Everyone was hilarious on Chocolate Sundays. Loved the George Wallace surprise. Having him there on the weekend of John Witherspooons passing was bittersweet. The nights hist was also amazing.
Great experience. They really make you have a great time. All the comedians are hilarious.
Awesome show. Everything was cool and we were all in and out quickly
Valentines date was perfect. Comedians were hilarious. And even a guest appearance
The performances were fun to watch. Customer service was awesome. Every seat in the house felt very close to the stage and it gave the sense of closeness to the comedians. If youre visiting LA and you love stand up comedy, you should definitely check it out. Friday is an awesome night to be there to kick start the weekend with a laugh.PS: Be prepared to get two drinks minimum and theres no video taping or cameras during the show but you can sneak a pic or two
Attended the show tonight and a good time was had by all! The comedians were great and had the audience in stitches from beginning till end! I definitely would like to come back the next time Im in Los Angeles!
Great comics. Club forces you 2 spend $30 more dollars on drinks with its 2 drink minimum.
Good comedy. Decent drink pours. They need to upgrade their premium drink menu. Horrible whiskey selection.
We had a great time! Laughed from beginning to end. Also, we were definitely cry-laughing during Fortune Feimster and Neal Brennan. Cant wait to come back.
The Owner Jamie is a gracious, generous Man-He donates his time and finances by making sure anyoneWho wants to have a great Thanksgiving meal and spend an hourWith great Comedians is accommodated-He also gifted us with a handful of bus tokens butMostly the ambiance was full of heartfelt love
Just did the Ruby Tuesdays with Russel Peters. Great line up. Drinks werent watered down. Finger food and wraps were great. Will definitely keep coming.
Had a great time there, dont understand why ordering from the menu is a must even though I paid for a ticket..
One of my best birthday experiences!
Depends on the lineup, but I had a good laugh with Margaret Cho. Shes legendary and she looks great!
I had the greatest time. Love Amanda seales. Get the seats up top. The best view and you get to avoid the roasting lol
Great customer service and anywhere you sit you can see the stage
Snagged some last minute tickets to catch a show on a random Tuesday night and had a great time for the price of admission. People lined up really early for general admission but it was a bit chaotic and people kept cutting the line. They opened the doors like 15 minutes later than the ticket said it would, and as soon as we got in they tried to up sell us to a premium seats. We declined, and ended up getting seated right in the middle in the second row, so glad we didn’t splurge for the better tickets. Show was great with a good variety of comedians, drinks were pretty good although really overpriced and two drink minimum.
Chocolate Sundaes is a GREAT comedy show. The comedian line up was the best Ive experienced in years! Laughed so much until my face hurt!
This place is worth a visit. Amazing comedians and amazing vibe.
Went to see 1 particular artist who happened to be a no show, which sucked. Theres a 2 drink minimum for everyone who enters for the comedy show. So even after you pay for your ticket youre obligated to also pay for at least 2 drinks. The comedians were great, hosts were decent a bit intrusive trying to make sure everyone got those drinks! But I enjoyed my night, and the show did start on time!
Way too fun. If you need a good laugh, plan to spend a few hours hangin out. The staff is great.
Great show but the valet parking sucks. Love the venue and its location. Fun night for my wife and I. I would give 5 stars but took about a half hour for valet to retrieve our car.
Laughed til I cried!! David Allen Grier was hilarious!!! I needed that laughter the night my husband took me. Great comics and always a great fun time.
It was a fantastic show, the comics were very funny & made me laugh, the seating wasn’t bad as well, me and my partner had the first row, but the only issue I did have here at the laugh factory was with the bartender, it’s mandatory you purchase a minimum of two drinks, & they hold your debit card throughout the entire show, I didn’t receive my drinks halfway through the show, the bartender was rude, and when it came time to pay for our drinks the bartender she asked if we was paying with card or cash, “I said card” but she stated the our card wasn’t working, so we had no choice but to pay cash, even tho we did have money on our card to pay the full amount, she also didn’t even give us our change back. After the show was over and we got back home, our debit card was also charged for the drinks we had already payed for in cash, when then called to complain about the inconvenience, the laugh factory didn’t help us with our problems. Bartender Lady with the necklace with the Hebrew lettering.
Most fun you can have in Hollywood. Been lots of times, never disappoints.
@ComedianRonG keeps the laughs coming on Chocolate Sundaes... they do a good job when it comes to comedy. Terrible at air conditioning and organization.
Great place for great laughs. They really know how to fill a room up here.
I love catching rising comedians & huge stars returning for standup shows. This place has launched the comedy careers of so many well known great comedians. Always check their website if tickets need to be purchased before any show. They frequently sell out. Popular shows will usually have a line to wait.
Tim Allen was hilarious! Not impressed with paying priority and being seated in the back of the room, also food was mediocre at best, cold spinach dip, don’t mind the 2 drink minimum, but the drinks should be good!
Always a hilarious show and excellent drinks. Be sure to get there early to enjoy the whole experience
Unimpressed. We saw six comics on New Years Eve 2020. Two were very funny, two were meh, and two were terrible. For the $80 per person plus 2 drink minimum you would think they would have a good lineup. We were all thoroughly underwhelmed. Not to mention they offer zero parking and there is no local parking. So plan on the extra $$ for the forced valet parking.
Some of the worlds best comedians perform here. Its very affordable and your face will hurt from all the laughter!! Great date spot too!!
Loved it. The comedians were outstanding. I really enjoyed the show. I would go back again. It is worth it for a lot of laughs. The comedians kept us laughing.
Went to #ChocolateSundaes on Sunday :-) Funny good time! You never know who might show up. Jay & Bey were getting their laugh on!
My wife and I had a great time..staff was helpful and the show was funny, we had a terrific night out
Who doesnt love this place. I had such a great night here. Last time we were in California we went here so is a must we had to do it again definitely worth it everyone was so funny. Jamie Kennedy and everyone else was fantastic
AMAZING LOCATION! Great atmosphere plus hilarious up n coming comedians as well as superstars
Undeniably hilarious! What a fantastic lineup tonight!!! Cant say enough great things about it! We absolutely will be back!!!
Killer lineup tonight. Yeah I didnt have the best seat, but the drinks came out at a decent pace, the comedians were awesome I chose a good night, 4 comedians with high level Netflix specials. The upstairs bathroom though is the definition of not my job in a comical way.
Decent venue. Could use better seating.....
The laugh factory is an awesome place. Being a tourist from Australia, we were looking for things to do whilst in LA. We stumbled upon a night of comedy. Tickets were very reasonable for the show that was put on. The laugh factory is in a pretty good location, we just caught a Lyft. There was one bit of confusion with the 2 lines into the venue, we had lined up in what we found to be the VIP line, we found this out once we got to the front door, which meant we then had to go to the back of the general line, which inturn meant we didnt get a seat at the show. I would still recommend this as a night out though as it really was awesome, just make sure you get in the right line.
Chocolate sundays is a laugh riot. I went to watch my buddy Six Foota Slimm perform, was also blessed with some unexpected performances by Chico Bean, Bill Bellamy and many other hysterical comedians. Definitely recommend... cons: drinks could be a lil bigger or a lil cheaper for that 2 drink minimum... other than that good times!
Great place to go with friends and sometimes family! Juliana DeStefano was hilarious! Highly recommend seeing her if you get the chance!
The shows were great the service was horrible slow and the drinks were warm but the comedy was amazing.
Very nicer the owner has free thanks giving and Christmas dinner
Highly recommend if you get a chance, its a really cozy venue. Usually theres 3 to 4 excellent comedians per night. Ive enjoyed the local acts more than the big names since they bring a lot of fresh material and they are experimenting instead of tailoring to the masses. Laugh factory requires 2 drinks per customer, so the cheapest youll get away with is $8 if you drink water or juice. Otherwise expect to spend $20+ if you want alcohol.
