One of the few parks that is designed similar to what Ive visited in Europe. Lots of picturesque and breath-taking views, wonderful playground, and we spotted a juggler, otters, ducks, people without masks (95%), few interesting sculptures and nice walking paths. What a gem! Just thinking about this park makes me want to move to Longview.

Had a great time kayaking. There is a great spot to put a kayak in by the park closer to the metal walking bridge. This is the only spot I found to put in but there might be several I did not see. Great lake to kayak around.

We went to the lake to watch the ducks & geese & see the beautiful colors of the leaves at 7:30 in the morning before it was crowded. The fog gave us an extra beauty to our perfect city lake. We are very luck to have this beautiful park.

We love spending time as a family here. There are so many beautiful areas to see. It is also a great location to hunt and find cowlitz county rocks.

Lake Sacajawea is a place Ive wanted to go for over a year and I finally made it here for a walk that will not be forgotten. Serene, clean, beautiful water lilies and pads, squirrels, birds, a walking path and bridges. A hidden gem a few minutes off Washingtons Columbia River.

Found this place accidentally, during traveling to the ocean. And I like it. Huge park, culm and beautiful. I like that there’re a lot of birds.

It took me and my two littles (nine and six) about 40 minutes to ride our bikes all the way around the park, and we were going at a pretty good clip. This was the first time we had ever done this. Impressed at how clean it was. People on the trail were smiley and nice.

I grew up celebrating the fourth of July here. Walked this park many times in my life. I live elsewhere now and I have to visit this park everytime Im visiting. On this trip I discovered this beautiful Incense Cedar tree.

Great place for walking, jogging, kyaking, fishing, and a picnic. The fall and spring times have the most amazing colors. There are three different play grounds for different ages of kids. Mostly quiet except for the fourth of July fireworks week, live music in the park on Thursdays evenings in the summer, and the occasional geese.

Stunning park with trees, ducks and other birds, cute squirrels, a huge lake, lovely paths and bridges; dont miss it if you are ever near!

My wife and I spent the night in Longview. The next morning on the way out we stopped at this extraordinarily beautiful inner city park. We ended up walking almost its full length. Every bend presented yet another landscape masterpiece. The lake water mirrored the trees. Sculptured gardens graced its banks. Huge mossy oaks shaded the sky. Wonderful!

Really nice park with lots of space. Big playground. Bathrooms were mostly locked and those that were open were dirty. Lots of parking available along the street - some in the shade.

This park is great. Trails, playgrounds, fishing, boating. Fun all around

Fall in this area is amazing. so many colors to please the eye. I hear the fish are good though I have not tried it myself. Great family environment.

Beautiful calming place. They have nice paths to walk or run. Areas for kids to safely play, places for people to fish, take photos and well lots of stuff. Big open spaces and a great place to play Pokemon Go. Especially for Pokemon Go Community day events. I love the Japanese Island in the lake. Its my favorite place to take pictures at the lake.

I go down to the lake to run my rc boat, I like to go in the evening, its peaceful, nobody messes with you

I’m so fortunate to have such a beautiful place like Lake Sacajawea Japanese Garden. Just being-there helps me feel grounded and re centered. I respect this area the vibe here is indescribable. If your new in town or just need a moment to regroup definitely go check this gem out, you won’t be disappointed.

Well I was only there to pick up a severely injured younge squirrel. I heard about this as it laid in the gravel pathway. I live in Vancouver and it was still there suffering covered in flies when I arrived. Its now, hopefully, recovering in my home. An hour away. Thats how long this baby injured animal was walked over or around. Longview LOVES their squirrels with squirrel fest, stupid squirrel bridges.. Yeah right.

Pokemon go. Park for the kids. Fishing. Here almost every day.

Lake Sacajawea is always beautiful, for just taking a walk it is great, shady, green and the people on the trail always have a smile and a quick hello.

Lake Sacajawea Park is awesome, especially on the Fourth of July! One of the best firework shows around! Theres tons of tasty food, lots of vendors, fantastic bands, friendly atmosphere and free parking! I brought my daughters here every year when they were kids and now taking my granddaughters! Its a great time and Id recommend it to ANYONE !

Most events and gatherings are outstanding and family friendly. Can be very relaxing on a nice day to enjoy a walk there. The only negative is when the local homeless or delinquents arent kept in order. But, has improved at times.

This place is incredibly beautiful. There are lots of animals. It has a path around the entire lake, which is great for the abundance of people walking, jogging, or cycling around the lake.For people playing Pokemon GO, there are several gyms and a multitude of stops around the lake. You will run into lots of other players while walking around the lake.The reason that I cant give this place 5 stars is because of the awful bathrooms and the homeless people. They leave their trash everywhere, and they destroy the bathrooms. The areas that have benches and a shelter are constantly taken over by a bunch of homeless people, and they take over the bathrooms too (I definitely wouldnt use one of the bathrooms at night).As long as you go to the east side of the lake and dont use the bathrooms, you will have a great time here.

Bathrooms were closed and garbage every where, also people sleeping in homemade tents all around the park. The lake looks amazing but wouldnt recommend bringing your kids to the park with how dirty the surroundings are, also sure hope the bathrooms get fixed.

Beautiful lake, multiple kid parks, fishing, kayaking, picnics, etc. only thing I’d like to see is a restroom on the other end of lake. We had our 4 year old with us and he barely made it back to the middle of the lake to go to the restroom.

Great park, center of town

Great place to walk. 6 miles if you go all the way around. Mostly well groomed gravel. Lots of people out for a run or walk or casual stroll. Lots of kids in strollers. Playgrounds at intervals.Parking is parallel on the street. But theres plenty so you dont have to be good at it. Which Im not!!!My only complaint is that the Rest Rooms are rather far apart.

Park would be great if Police would do something about homeless camps and drug camps near the playground. How do you expect people to bring their children here when you cant go 20yrds without finding a syringe?
