Super dirty bathroom.... DISGUSTING! No trash bin (which youd think theyd want at least for feminine product trash), soap dispenser doesnt work, just a MESS. Playground had at least 10 kiddos - 3 or 4 of which were coughing (and so was one of the dads.. just hacking!) - and no one was wearing masks or even covering their mouths when coughing. Nice little playground set, but Im praying we wont get sick after being here a few minutes and realizing what a dirty place full of sick people this is right now. Yikes.

A smaller park, but still nice. Has playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic pavilions and seasonal bathrooms. It looks lovely in the warmer months, only down side is that its right next to the railroad tracks so an otherwise peaceful and relaxing experience can be interrupted abruptly.

At first I sat in the South picnic area. But there was a homeless woman there shouting at some people she was sitting with so I moved to the playground area. I sat at a bench to eat my lunch and noticed it was coming loose from the bolts. I called the parks department and they said theyd send someone out to check on it.

Collyer is located in a quaint-older neighborhood and it makes this park adorably charming. No frills, or fancy play structure (even though the train theme is pretty cute). It’s right next to the train tracks, and we were lucky enough to have a train come by in the short time we were there! It was deafeningly loud as expected lol, but likely the highlight of the girls’ trip there. I anticipate many summer days at the library down the street and then coming here for a picnic lunch. The only thing I didn’t like was that If you have kids that like to run off, like mine, there are busy streets on all four sides of the park structure. Otherwise, perfect for lazy lolling about on a warm day.

Quaint, little park in the heart of Longmont. Short walk through a quiet neighborhood can have you on main street for some shopping and/or eating. This park boasts a nice open area with plenty of trees, as well as a playground and covered picnic area. Just a call place to read or take a stroll and unwind.

The train play structure is a lot of fun for kids 1.5-5. My friends 6 year old also had fun climbing all of the unique climbing structures and spinning. It is really easy for adults to bonk their head on the underside of the train structure while your child plays in the tube. The park is large and has several picnic structures and a seasonal restroom.

This is one of my kidss favorite park in Longmont! It has big trees so its partially shaded, the train passes along it, which is a big attractions for little boys, and the playground is original and look like a train. There are a lot of cute squirrels jumping around and throwing nuts at people. The only problem I see is that there are a few homeless people around. It doesnt feel that safe... The bathroom is also very dirty, I dont feel like having my 2 years old use it.

What a fun park! It is great for kids of all ages. There is an amazing train themed playground for big and little plus plenty of grassy area for playing soccer, baseball, frisbee and other fun outdoor activities. There are shelters with picnic table and plenty of shade from the beautiful mature trees. The best part is that the train tracks are right next to the park and trains go by mutiple times! Its no wonder they call this the train park!!
