Alta park is a quite park nestled around old town longmont, it is a nice park with overhead shelters, swing sets, Barbeque Grills with metal Picnic Tables also has grassey areas along with shade trees, along with garbage cans, and for the little ones there is a climbing jungle gym for the little ones. And that is my review of Alta Park. I would rate it as a (4)Respectively Ken Wellington

Quiet, shady and small - whats not to like? If youre looking for more action, Roosevelt park and all its amenities are a few blocks south. If youre looking for something quieter, well, the cemetery is just two blocks north. Everyone else, just settle in!

Small and efficient. Older equipment with a nice picnic shelter. No bathroom but on a quiet corner. CAUTION: Hornet nest in the sand under the metal stairs leading up the playset.

Gazebo with picnic tables and BBQ grill. Adjacent to a community garden with small plots for fruit, vegetable, and flower gardening. Nice playground and small grass field for the kids or pets to run around on. Park is small, but well kept and rarely occupied. Occasionally used by nearby families. I cant believe it, but some people think this a bad neighborhood? Youve got to be kidding me. Not sure if fear mongering or selfishly trying to keep the park unoccupied, because that is absolutely crazy. It might be the most run down part of old town longmont, but its still old town longmont. Very safe and friendly neighborhood in my book.

The park is in a more run down part of town, but I wouldnt say its dangerous by any means, its quaint and small... and thats what makes it special tbh.

This is a small low quality park in a very bad part of town (relative to the surrounding area). If you are nearby just go a few blocks to the South to Roosevelt.

This park is small, but has a great toddler (1.5-3) sized play structure. One toddler and 1 bigger kid swing.
