Great area! Plenty of wildlife, and it’s nice and quiet.. usuallyDunno why you’d want to swim there cause the waters disgusting. Snapping turtles and Cray fish are everywhere which is awesome for nature viewing, but not something you’d want to step on with your bare feet. Lots of fish and frogs. No snakes which is great for others, not so much for a naturalist like me. And no, there aren’t water moccasins/cotton mouths in the North East.

There is a nice walking that surrounds the reservoir.

Dirty water, beautiful environment, costs money to swim in something that isn’t worth it

Always fun to skate on in the winter. During the summer you can swim and there are lifeguards. There is also a path around the pond and some picnic tables.

Nice walking paths and pretty scenery. The swimmings not great (reservoir is literally a kettle pond with the associated muck and leaves) but it hits the spot on a hot day and is less crowded than the public pool.

Fun for the kids, shade for the grown-ups

In the spring and summer its great swimming. In the fall look for crawfish. In the winter, ice skate

Its a nice short walk around, my dogs like the wooded area.
