My exploration of PEAR Park continues on the North section of the park. It is very toasty today too, and the wide open trail is unforgiving as the Sun beats down on you like steal drums at a Soca Festival.Nature is starting to come out more and more. Bees are natures bouncers. One followed me out, as I was heading toward the entrance of the park(so disrespectful).Plenty of grass hoppers or locus. They sound like a barber turning on clippers, ready to give you a fade, as your walking down the path.At one point, the trail gives you an option to continue in the frying pan or, go into the wooded trail that runs parallel to the main trail. There is a also a river or stream that runs along side of that. Just follow the warnings of possible snake, alligator, or bear warnings. The thrill of it all is amazing! If you havent had a chance to walk in areas like this, you really should. Its fun, peaceful, and a great place to reflect and meditate.
PEAR Park is a well maintained excellent park for hiking, biking, bird and butterfly watching facility. The other day on the way to the park I saw this beautiful snake. Red on yellow kill a fellow. Red on black venom lack. I know what it is do you? This is the bridge where all of the frogs are talking. Come visit our beautiful park near Leesburg on Hwy 27.
Great waking trails, much of it (along the river or stream) is shady.Update: Parks department added some new trails and signs! This is by far my favorite park in the area for shaded hikes, feeling safe, and interesting things to see like the creek, baseball fields, courts, dog park, and gardens. Enjoy!
