Mulled wine was good but not particularly warm. Nice place for warmer days.
Fleetwood Farm is the perfect place to host your wedding day. The catering is delish, the views are spectacular and the facilities are flawless. The reception space has lovely grey walls and flooring to really compliment any palette. I highly recommend Fleetwood Farm Winery for your fine art wedding day!
Atmosphere and music were lovely. Wine was reasonable based on Virginia winery standards, but quality of wine was aligned to lower price. Nice to have adults only environment.
Fantastic service and gorgeous views. Enough room to spread out. Everyone we met was very friendly and covid is a non issue on their expansive grounds with rose bushes
Working with Fleetwood Farm Winery was a ton of fun and they were very kind and accommodating during our event. We were photographing a fairly last-minute elopement and the staff here were all really friendly and helpful throughout the afternoon. We used the Bridal Suite for the bride to get ready, had the ceremony on the patio, and then went back into the Manor House for a small reception and family photos. The entire property is full of light and is well put-together for a classy, slightly rustic wedding day look. I hope to return here for more weddings in the future!
Wine was good so was the flatbread. Tough to trust a place that doesn’t allow dogs though
Great venue. Amazing wine. Safe social distancing. Highly recommend.
Really nice wine. Great place to have an event
Good selections (3 white/red), little pricey but great bread and grounds
Went here on a Sunday afternoon on recommendation of a friend. Lovely property & lots of outside seating. The only open space was the grand patio area. We walked into the large grand room and there were several tables occupied but still lots of open seating. There was ONE tasting bar staffed with 3 employees and about 6 folks tasting with no further room. No one acknowledged our presence. There was a line for tasting, which included folks who appeared to be looking only for a refill of their wineglass, but there was no room at the small tasting bar to obtain one. One employee came around the bar and asked these folks if they just needed a refill...then he walked away, never to be seen again. After about 5 minutes a staff member acknowledged us while walking to clients at a table.....but that was it. She never came back to assist us, the tasting line never moved, so after waiting awhile we decided to leave. There are too many other local wineries where we can go and actually get a glass of wine to enjoy!! Fleetwood was lovely but the first impression fell flat. They needed to have at least TWO tasting bars open for the size of the space. We may go back but if and when we do, if we have the same reception we are Done.
Nice wines and plenty of space to spread out for a nice afternoon chatting witg friends.
Not going back again, rude customer service top to bottom
Please avoid at all costs. They did not allow my service animal with paperwork in and questioned my disability, which is a violation of the ADA.
Youd expect the staff to want to show you what they have. Maybe share their favorite wine. The most dry wine tasting experience ever. Ive sincerely had a better experience a Trader Joes.Nice property.
Really a 3.5 for now. Early days for this winery. We have two sides to this place. They have good bones, meaning the property and grounds are beautiful and very thoughtfully built out on a historic property, but on the other side, the wines arent made on the property - again, a new winery. The wines are from VA and CA in general and are okay, as others have said the tasting prices are a tad high $14 for six samples.Other important points:- No kids- No pets- Cant bring in outside food - oy, this one hurts in my book.Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
Beautiful property, great wines and a friendly staff. Theyre still working out some of the kinks from just opening yesterday (literally), but theyre off to a great start. Definitely will be back!
My only issue was upon leaving I had to stand in another long line just to close out my bill.
We are members of this winery and decided to head out there Valentines Day afternoon. What a huge disappointment! It was freezing cold and windy out, and they did not have the main tasting room open with the comfortable seating and indoor bathrooms. They made us sit out in the large, cold music venue, that only has outdoor restrooms and only one of 4 had a working heater in it! They offered absolutely nothing special for Valentines Day. We were told by their wine club manager by email that they were tasting Borduex, but when we arrived we were told by the tasting room manager that “oh, that’s only on Saturdays and Sundays. At the last club pick up in The fall we were assured that from then on, we would be able to choose which wines they wanted for their pick up, but once again, we were stuck with taking home wines we did not like. We have been members of this venue since they opened and have given them a lot of slack for being new and trying to get things right, but I think Valentines Day was the last straw for me!

Great place to visit. No one under 21 is allowed in the tasting rooms.
Love this winery! Incredible atmosphere, especially in the back deck. Jenny is our favorite wine pourer! So sweet and friendly!
I was at the winery today and they had a great rock band time warp playing . It was super fun and maxing, loved every minute of it. We were dancing and wine was good. However one the managers came and shot the band down before they even finished. They were so rude to them it was crazy. I honestly just came to see the band, have wine ( we spent decent amount the money) and have a great time. Unfortunately they way they( manager) handled this made me not come back again. I live in the area and they are many more better options. I would not recommend this place just because of the management . Go some place else, there are plenty better wineries in the area. However Jenny was the only worker that was nice .
Nice little place out in southern Loudoun County. Generous pours for the tasting. Food menu is limited, but what they serve is very tasty, especially the flatbread. Staff was very pleasant, but if you take the table-side tasting option, it may take a while to work your way through the wine list, especially if they get busy. Best bet is to do the tasting at the bar.
A group of friends and I came in for the first time, had a great tasting and then purchased a bottle of wine to share outside. After this was done, a lady named Lisa pointed at us from across the room, approached us, checked all of our IDs (again), pointed at a friend of mine, and asked in a very demeaning tone if she’s been here before. We were all shocked. When we were leaving, Lisa stopped another one of my friends and said she did not pay, which was not true. The other employees stepped in to correct her and let her know that everyone had paid. Lisa’s behavior was bizarre and uncomfortable. Nothing about our experience was welcoming or friendly.
Love finding new wineries! This one has a beautiful quaintness and for a relatively new winery (April 2018) had some great flavor profiles. The staff was incredibly friendly and available to do seated tastings when the tasting bar was overflowing. Although they used many out of state grapes I’m excited to see where the flavors go as they yield their own crop.
Lovely location, tasty wines, well be back.
Nice, new venue right in the heart of Ashburn. A little pricey but a nice affair...
So I would like to be 100% clear everywhere Fleetwood states that this facility is 21 plus. For the individuals whose reviews claim they got discriminated because they had a child or have been asked to leave because they had a baby... please check yourself. I am a mother of two children of a 6 and a 2 year old and I clearly understood that children were not supposed to be part of this environment and I will say I am 100% behind this statement. I came and thoroughly enjoyed Fleetwood without my children although I love them more then anything in this world, this just isn’t the space for them. It is however a space for my husband and I to enjoy time together and for that I am thankful. Please parents...just because you have a child or a baby it doesn’t entitle you to anything. Rules are rules and I plan to have my children respect them, for the betterment of the world. I hope you teach your children the same. Everyone here has been extremely gracious and the wine/food was top notch. Please do not let others who can’t follows rules exclude you from this winery. Honestly, I have had a fantastic experience.
Before going to Fleetwoood, we had read a few negative reviews here and decided to give it a shot anyway.Upon reaching the winery, we went to the bar area and were greeted by complete silence by an elderly gentleman. We then asked for a tasting of one of the white wines so we could get the bottle - he gave us a tasting without saying a word about the wine, nor even looking in our direction. The entire exchange was so awkward and unfriendly, we couldnt wait to get it done. While leaving, there were no signs on where the bottles ad glasses had to be left. So we took it inside and asked a lady behind the bar where we should leave it and she very rudely said leave it hereThe heaters werent turned on outside even though they had them.If Fleetwood does show up on your list of wineries to visit, Id recommend against it.
The wine was good.. they dont actually grow the grapes, they import from various vineyards in the west. Working on producing their own soon. The Carriage House blend was very intriguing. An interesting smokey after taste.. fascinating.
Oh contraire!Fleetwood Farm is a charming historic farm tastefully cared for with a forward movingvibe. Oh, and the beautifully landscaped yard and garden with a limestone arch perfect for a picture of a bride and groom.!The newly constructed venue for receiving guests of theWinery has a crisp French feel.Enter a large room through sparkling white glass-paned doors. More white and windowed walls overlooking manicured lawns. In some distance there are adarondike chairs and tables sprinkled about. As we were greeted andseated another view: new grape vines growing in plain sight.Fleetwood Farm Winery preliminarily offers winesfrom grapes grown at reputable area winerieswhile their stock matures.Hungry? A selection of European style meats, cheesesand breads...delicious and reasonably priced!
I recently visited this winery. The location is very nice and what we saw of the grounds was impressive.Unfortunately this place was ill prepared for a large group. It took several minutes and a few location changes before we could start our tasting. There were also issues with malfunctioning doors and a general feeling of dislike from the staff. We closed our tab and departed earlier than scheduled.I do not plan to return to this business.
Love this winery! Its kept very clean (especially since they dont allow outside food, sometimes wineries that do look more like a picnic then a winery). I love that its 21 and only... wish all wineries/bars had that rule. It makes me relieved that I wont be seeing parents drink and drive their loved homes home.
Meh. Thats my best description. Its a pretty building. Wine is decent. Super friendly staff. You cant bring your own food even outside and they have limited selection there. Tasting is a little overpriced. $14 for 6 wines. Theres road noise but the grounds are pretty. Its just that there are better places about 10 to 15 minutes away. No need to go back.
My husband and I just held our wedding here on New Year’s Eve and words do not express how stunning and incredible this venue is. It is not only a beautiful and historic place, but it is the people that work here that make it truly wonderful and a “once in a lifetime” experience. Jennifer Krebs, the Events Manager, not only helped me stay unbelievably organized, but went the extra mile to ensure that everything leading up to the day of our wedding was in place. She sent updates, was a liaison between me and my other vendors, and made sure that our experience was top notch. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her sincere desire to help with whatever I needed throughout the entire time- leading up to and day of the wedding. Additionally, the catering done by Christina and Bluewater Kitchen was fabulous. Many of my guests have reached out to me to inquire who catered out food and how delicious it was. Christina was a joy to work with as well and again, like Jennifer, made sure our experience was unforgettable- from our wonderful tasting menu dinner, to the superb service on the day of. I cannot recommend this venue enough and thank the entire staff for making our wedding the best day of our lives.
Beautiful new winery in NoVA.
Happened to want to spend a few hours and spend some money here with a friend. We saw signs saying we would need to be gone at 4 pm due to a wedding. Was no problem. In fact we carefully paced our bottle to be gone by 4. About 3:30, a man who may have been the owner stopped by our table and rudely proclaimed You are aware you need to depart the premises by 4 pm, right?. We said yes we were aware and remarked to ourselves that they could have phrased their request much nicer, like thank you for coming... unfortunately we have a wedding at 4 pm, so ask that you please be ready to leave by then. we hope you will come back again when you can stay and enjoy yourselves. Then at 3:50 as we were sipping our last sip, another woman came over who said can you please leave now? if you have wine left, chug it! I politely reminded them we were told 4 pm.and it was only 3:50 but we would leave early. What kind of message does this send? To us three, it felt like individual customers arent valued if there is a bigger customer paying more money. It was as though we were unwanted, yet it is groups like us that have made this winery flourish. We are the ones that made you what you are. Believe me, as a business owner myself, I completely understand the need for wedding and event income, but not at the risk of alienating and offending your other customers. This attitude wasnt a mistake because two people repeated it and seems to reflect the managements wishes. So be weary coming here if there is an event, as you will likely be chased off with rude, insulting behavior.UPDATE A YEAR LATER.... the winery promised me a $30 coupon to come back, so i sent my address as they requested. Nothing came. I emailed them about it and no response. Havent been back, and wont.
We came here for a wedding... they did a wonderful job. Everything was spectacular, Jennifer, the point person for the wedding and her colleague zach, were amazing. I would highly recommend Fleetwood for events and just a nice weekend visit.
I love visiting this winery. The wines are fabulous. The staff is so hospitable. And the vibe is just chic and chill and wonderful!
The wines are delicious and the charcuterie board is too! The winery is beautiful in the winter, I can only imagine how great it looks in the summer. I will definitely be coming back.
Had Leeann as our tasting lady and she was fabulous! Very knowledgeable. I only gave 4 stars as $14 for tasting 6 wines was expensive considering the amount of the pours. Lovely venue. Will be back again.
Honestly I really want to like this place because it is a nice venue...but our experience yesterday was just absolutely ridiculous. We met some friends at Fleetwood Farm off a whim yesterday (traveled about 40 minutes from Fairfax) and were there for about 2 hours before the manager asked us to leave because we had brought our 10 month old. Apparently they do not allow kids of any age which we were not aware of. I was a bit taken back given that we had been there for 2+ hours and had interacted with 3 or 4 different employees during that time and nobody mentioned a thing. Only after we had racked up a tab buying a few bottles of wine and some appetizers were we asked to leave....manager claims he didnt notice us. Not possible. I was told multiple times that it was on their website that they do not allow kids. I must be the only person who doesnt check a businesss website before visiting right? We will gladly take our business elsewhere and ill be sure to warn everyone I know not to make the mistake we did.K-Cabello: I think your comment is a bit much. I am 100% an advocate for following the rules and have no issue with the fact that this establishment is limited to adults only. You have to understand that people make mistakes and not everyone does their due diligence before visiting a new place. My fault for assuming a winery in the heart of Loudoun County would be family friendly. I am not going to reinstate why I had an issue with Fleetwood since I have already explained above. My wife and I clearly overlooked any indication that children were not allowed which was our fault. Had we been notified immediately when we arrived that children were not allowed I would have had no issue with Fleetwood whatsoever.
Great wine, especially their Pinot Noir. Staff is excellent! Highly recommend.
Don’t bother, there are so many better places to experience wine. And don’t bring kids, they will chase you out in no time.
We spent Mother’s Day here yesterday. What a great setting w/ beautiful grounds & buildings. The wines were tasty & the service was on point. We will definitely be back.
By far the best tasting wine Ive experienced the hours are perfect for our schedules. Our wine ambassador Leanne has a wealth of knowledge not only in the wines but in the history of the property. By far the best winery in Loudoun county.
This place is HORRIBLE!!!! Worst new winery ever! The manager on staff had no professionalism what so ever! The staff had no education on the wine they were serving! Also stated they were having live music from 1:30-4:30 and never happened!!! NEVER GOING BACK EVER!!! Step your game up from all of the AMAZING winery’s in Loudoun County! You’ve got big shoes to fill and based off of my experience you deserve less than one star! I’m completely upset at the way I was treated at Fleetwood Winery!
Outstanding! A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Cant wait to go back.
Lovely grounds with some good wine choices. Will definitely be going back soon.
One word... BORING!
The best part about this winery is the beautiful landscaping, Eric in the pavilion, and the venue in general. The whites are so-so, and the reds are thin. One reviewer wrote that it’s about time Ashburn had a winery, and we should have heeded the “warning”. It is an adult only winery which they are very clear about but, no outside food is also a rule that they should have made clear. One and done for this Leesburger.
Great winery and it helped that Jason Masi was playing there.
I was eagerly anticipating the opening. Then we made a visit and found signs stating No children, No pets, no outside food. Maybe this winery shouldnt have opened next to one of the largest communities in Loudoun with children and pets. I get the food policy.
The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, the views were great! The rose tasting was a cool and unexpectedv twist, but the actual wine needs a little more time to age. Definitely worth a trip outv to enjoy a glass and a tasting.
The wine tasting was lots of fun and we picked up a few bottles to enjoy for Christmas! Thanks.
My wife and I went to Fleetwood to see what one of Virginias newest wineries had to offer, and we were not disappointed! The service was top notch. The assistant manager Patty was extremely attentive and took us out to see the property, which by the way was gorgeous and immaculately maintained. We did the Rosès from around the world flight, which I definitely recommend. The Pinot Noir was one of the best Ive ever had. We will definitely be back. Seriously if you love wine and Virginia this is the place to go!
Great wine, beautifully maintained grounds, great staff (Thanks Tara!), definitely recommend
Beautiful grounds and good wine . They were doing a Rhone tasting today, which was excellent. Definitely will be going back .
Historic beautiful warm, friendly and then we have their delicious wines. Brand new to the Winery scene Fleetwood Farm Winery brings the past and present together in a seamless manner. The property and farmhouse date back to the late 1700s and the wines are current and tastefully done. The premise behind their winery is to educate you about the wines so you have a complete experience from start to finish. Leanne their wine ambassador is fun, friendly and full of information about the wines you will sample in addition to the history of the building and property. The tasting room is large but has a very warm and friendly atmosphere with oplenty of space for everyone. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with multiple patios, private seating areas under the trees and a welcoming pavilion that provides wounderful deck seating as well. Once the weather becomes cooler they also have a fantastic fireplace with plenty of seating, not to mention the outdoor tasting area. This is a brand new winery in the heart of Loudoun County that will quickly become the go to winery for those who want quality wines but not the long drive like other wineries.
Wine was very good...staff was amazing...great atmosphere.
The reserve cabernet sauvignon is wonderful!
Beautiful winery with good wines.
Beautiful locale and some nice wine. Worth a visit.
Great wine, fantastic ambiance
Beautiful property close to Dulles. Great wines & friendly tasting room manager.
Great selection of wines, beautiful winery, and a great cheese plate! And Patty Rocks!
We didnt do a wine tasting, so I cant speak to the quality of the wine. The venue was great and the music and food were very good.
They dont allow kids, so we cant go. Lucky for the vineyard that there are so few couples with children in the area. Oh wait...
No children allowed!!! That’s the biggest disappointment ever. Aren’t vineyards family friendly anyway? They will be loosing a lot for having this policy
Great wines and good atmosphere!
They dont allow kids and the only place its advertised its a small text on the bottom of the website.Drove 40 minutes to be harassed by every employee about waking on the property with children.Bad businesses and rude mangers and staff
Wonderful time ️
