Went here today for the first time with my husband and 1 year old. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. This winery is so serene & quiet, felt like I was hanging out at my own log cabin in the woods. We had the Cabernet and it was DELICIOUS. Super smooth and a little dry. This winery is a hidden gem. Will definitely be back soon!
Love this winery! All the wines are super smooth and easy to drink. The woman in charge is an excellent describer of wines and explains everything in detail, which is amazing. They also have sangria slushies right now in apple and cranberry orange that were super tasty. During the winter time they also have mulled wine which was addicting when I had and kept going back for more. But would definitely recommend this winery for any type of occasion.
Great experience! I came with a friend and had a great time. Great service and literally did not try a wine that we didnt like. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely location. Beautiful scenery. Try the pizza! Its amazing! And dont forget to get yourself a bottle of the Reserve White or the Cab Franc!
Absolutely delightful! The frozen sangria with a red wine floater was amazing. Could have kept that flowing all day.
Great Chardonnay and probably reds that we didnt try. Attractive venue indoors and outside among trees. Dog friendly.
We had the pleasure to meet Katryna on our recent visit! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She went above and beyond and made our first time experience amazing!! We will definitely comeback to enjoy this lovely winery.
Big covered porch was perfect refuge, smelling the rain and looking at the different Maple trees growing out front. Friendly staff and the wine is good. A bottle of their Vidal Blanc is just what the rainy afternoon called for.
I love the family owed posture. The tasting room us very attractive and quaint. The wines are slightly over average. We came with a tour and were greeted with welcome hearts. The star rating is for the wine not the staff. If I could split the rate is do 5 for the staff and 2.5 for the wine.Love the idea, it just didnt mesh with my palate.
The staff was very friendly and helpful! Loved the outdoor scenery
Lovely hidden winery. Very quiet and quaint.
My friend and I visited Hidden Brook Winery this past Sunday afternoon. It was a breath of fresh air. We went to Lost Creek beforehand and we didnt like any of their wines. At Hidden Brook, we liked ALL of their wines (which is weird for me since I usually do not like reds!). We liked it so much that I joined their Cabin Club! Their Chardonnay is light and has notes of citrus with a light buttery finish. They had wine slushies! We ended up doing a tasting. We tasted all of the wines on the tasting menu for only $12. Great price! The manager was super sweet (she did our tasting). We then got two glasses and enjoyed the deck for a bit before retiring into the cabin due to the heat. Dogs are welcome inside of the tasting room! They also have paint days and comedy nights. I cant wait to come back and experience all of the events this gem of Lucketts has to offer!
I love this place! We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and love that its dog friendly. The wine is easy drinking and is a compliment to any food pairing. Ive used their wine to make a roast (reserved merlot) and to steam shrimp. (Chardonnay) both well rounded flavors.
Nice people great service. Skip this one. Sweet wine. Inexperienced wine maker. Reds smell old with no finish.
One of the perfect place to chill, very good vibes and great food in a very affordable price. Looking forward to be back soon and will bring my family over to experience the good vibration...
Skip the snobby and try some of the best wines from very knowledgeable and funny staff. My wife and I stumbled upon this place and where it lacks in panoramic views it makes up with delicious wine and an non-tyrannical food policy and prices. 12 wine tasting for 12 bucks? Yes please. Also, tasting is set up for you to actually learn something. Value, fun, and tasty wines. What more do you need?
My friend and I visited this place at random. We loved the comedy show, wine and super friendly helpful team who helped us get our car out!
I liked this winery, but did not love it. They had live music outside, which was fun, but not a lot of seating near the music. Most of the whites were a little sweet for my taste. However, the chambourcin was really interesting. The tasting room is a little sparse, but the staff were very nice and accommodating.
What a nice cozy winery check out their wines, their Chardeney is one of the best, the prices are reasonable, membership is a must, 20% off all wines and you only pay $60.00 per quarter for 3 bottles of wine. Check them out a must stop on your wine tours.
Absolutely loved the place. Very warm and welcoming staff. Cute and cozy log cabin setting. OUTSTANDING wines. Favorites were the Chardonnay, 2010 Cab Sauv and their brand new Chambourcin which the lady doing our tasting let us have a sneak peek of. Kudos to that! Even though some of the reviews here (5+ years old) say otherwise, Hidden Brook def knows what theyre doing these days.
The service was good and the atmosphere fine, but the wines were objectionable (Im being nice). Almost all were overly sweet and crafted by inexperienced hands. If you like really sweet wines then stop and have a tasting ($5) otherwise drive another 4 minutes to some great wineries.
Lovely, fruit-forward wines in a fun setting with great people.
This winery has a nice cozy feeling when you go in. Its very much a log cabin in the woods and they even offer a selection of board games for you to play while you sip your wine. I took off one star for this one because there werent many standout wines last time I stopped in. The Chambourcin was probably my favorite as it had a nice mustard seed flavor to it (sounds weird but it was delicious). They had a Rose the year prior that apparently used the Chambourcin and it had been the favorite wine of the day (out of 5 wineries). They used a different recipe though last time I went in :(
A winery with great wine that isnt also snobby... not an easy combo to find in NOVA.
Not a single wine I didnt like. We were the only people there do hard to judge ambiance in January
Amazing wine for every type of pallet.
Kinda a dive. Didnt have a good experience but not writing it off yet. Will most likely try again.
Nice place
