Very pretty place to visit and have lunch

City parks & recreation workers need to visit more regularly. Several areas of the sidewalk completely covered in duck/geese poo. Looks like many days since scraped off.

The liberty lake was wonderful a place where you can relax and hear from God

Apparently this is the hang out spot and sleeping area for lawtons homeless population. Every bench is being lived on.

I grew up in this park during the summers. I thought we were fishing for fun but we were in fact fishing for dinner. Some of my best memories were here.

Very peaceful! I park there sometimes to eat my lunch. Theres a walking path and playground. Ive seen people fishing, and theres always ducks and geese! Watched a duck cross the street and lay a couple eggs in someones yard... Pretty cool!

Great place to go exercise. Walking trail is 2 miles long. Playground and also there is a memorial for past wars here too. Great place to take the family. Also during the summer there is a splash park.

Ive enjoyed this Park for most of my life

Playground is aging, not much seating but lots of water birds. I personally walk around its walking trail almost everyday with my coworkers to get some fresh air and stretch my legs!

Me and my grandson have the best time.e at this park. Theres fishing, a really cool playground. Theres ducks that will enjoy you feeding them my grandson enjoyed the ducks. Theres also a a sidewalk where you can walk all the way around it. Just a nice place to go have fun with your family

Favorite park to take my son to. Unlike Elmer Thomas park, there is a sidewalk that goes all the way around the lake, perfect for wagons, strollers, bikes, or walking. The geese and ducks are very human friendly, and my son loves going to feed them and getting to watch them as he swings, slides and plays. Benches, tables, and tons of shaded areas. Perfect for kids, dogs, and all ages alike.

Its a nice quiet place to sit and eat lunch and watch the ducks and geese. My grandson enjoys playing on the playground equipment. Bring a loaf of old bread and let the kids feed the ducks.

I enjoyed my day at the park, everything was good except the parks grill has a big hole in the bottom.

At first my grandchildren and I like Liberty Lake park spending our playing and fishing fun parks fun day...until our special weekly fun day turned bad..because I had to make all them stop fishing and/or playing at the lake/park to take one of them (many times during our few hours at the park) to a bathroom several blocks away just to use a public bathroom-which upset completely upset all my grandchild who didnt need to go, who was having fun fishing/playing at the park and it was a huge hassle to me every time I had a load everybody up in the vehicle just to drive them to use the bathroom several times in a few hours of trying to have a day out of park when my grandchildren. Plus there werent enough benches around the small lake so my young grandchildren could sit down on instead of standing close by the water to fish, nor was there enough benches for me to sit down on close to my grandchildren so I could watch them fish...I didnt want my grandchildren or I want to sit on the ground around the lake because it was too much ducks/geeses poop and feathers. I dont understand why Liberty Lake Park doesnt provide for everyone who comes there clean/safe bathrooms with a few stalks for children, parents or grandparents to use if needed (without having to go blocks away to maybe not so clean/safe bathrooms) nor do I understand why there isnt more benches around the fishing area so there are clean/safe places for the fishers or those watching their little ones fish/feed the birds... Especially when I know for a fact that we all are forced to pay city taxes which a set portion of those taxes we all pay goes to the citys park fund that cover any maintenance or all improvements that is needed to all our city parks-not just a few. Why isnt the city park funds being used to make all our city parks equipped with clean/safe/working bathrooms, water fountains and has several clean/safe places to sit on through out the parks playing/fishing areas?

Now this is the place to go see ducks and geese. You can feed them you can even fish there. There is playground toys for kids of all ages. Even swings for babies. Great place.

Wheeled around the lake in my wheelchair. Brought my two dogs along. They loved the walk and looking at the ducks.

The playground is alright, but like everything in Lawton it needs to be picked/cleaned up. Also, the pond is pretty gross from trash and stuff. But the north end is a nice grassy area.

The mosquitoes have no regard for off or bug spray. The benches are hot. The water fountain needs to be cleaned every once in a while. Texas has theirs cleaned every night.

Park is small. Is nice. All of the droppings from the ducks are not. From the sidewalks to the grass. Sometimes the sidewalks are filthy with droppings Where can one sit without all that? And why would I want to walk on that? I think the city could come up with some cleaning method, figure something out with all the ducks that are now blocking streets and nesting in nearby yards of people who do take that extra care to enjoy their yards. Yes! I enjoy ducks but its looking overpopulated and the mess they leave takes from my enjoyment as I have to walk on all that or cannot sit down anywhere.

Theres ducks, geese, sometimes theres a fountain, a decent paved walkway, decent sized park with older fixtures, and a couple acres worth of open grassy area.
