From pickup to dropoff, this was undoubtedly one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and just all around great to be around. This was my first helicopter experience, and it sold me on helicopters for life.If youre looking for something different and memorable to do in Vegas, definitely give these guys a call. This was such an incredible and unforgettable experience. As someone who has never even been on a helicopter before, I felt incredibly safe in their hands! Their professionalism and knowledge were outstanding. You can tell that every person that is a part of their team loves what they do and they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the greatest experience. When I first heard of this place in a gunship I knew I had to take my dad, who was a Marine veteran and shot from helicopters. I surprised my father with a trip out to vegas and to these guys and let me tell you, if you are in vegas, this is a MUST. We arrived and were greeted by the coolest, and friendliest of staff. The professionalism was unreal,they still were able to joke around and have fun, but when it came to buisness they kept things extremely safe and I, and my father never had any worries for our saftey. My father found great comfort talking to other veterans and employees here. Just before the helicopter arrived the owner came. You would never know in a million years this man was the owner, he hustled and bustled just like all the other staff. When we boarded the helicopyer the pilot and gunner assistant were great to talk to and made everything simple, just point and shoot! They both complemented us and helped us as we shot. After we left the helicopter we had a chat with the staff and owner and my father was so incredibly touched by the gunner assistant (not sure if thats the right term haha), he gave him a challenge coin. All in all, DEFINITELY spend your money here. Worth every penny

We did this for a guys trip, a group of 4 of us did the Squad Up Group Package for 4. What an amazing bucket list item. We loved every minute of it, from the minute that Ben picked us up at our hotel. Taking off in the turbine driven helicopter with one of your legs out on the skid (strapped in of course), shooting the automatic machine gun at targets on the mountain, to the fun high banking turns and back down for the landing, all in the rugged mountain area of Nevada, plus we bought the $100 video package which turned out really well. We will remember this experience forever. Great outfit!

From the safety & professionalism of the staff to the thrilling experience itself, we can not say enough great things about this excursion. My wife and I live here in Las Vegas and are active members of the local firearms community. After having taken clients on various day trips that have spanned the gamut of off-roading, exotic cars, boat rentals on Lake Mead, we can say, without a doubt, that this is THE best excursion that the LV area has to offer.

Highly recommend this experience. Very professional operation with very skilled staff. Randy, Ben, and Bradley are top notch. It started with Ben picking me up at the hotel and taking me out to the property. We shot a bunch of guns on the ground at the range. Then, Bradley at the controls and Ben assisting we went up in the helicopter and put 400 rounds through the Saw. Lastly, Randy took me to the Pioneer Saloon for a nice lunch and hotel drop off at the Wynn. I will definitely do this experience again!

My son signed up to do it and I wasnt going to go with him. After we got there I decided to go up with him as an observer. Even though I wasnt shooting it still was very cool. My son had a great time! We would definitely go back and do it again. Great staff and facility!!

One of the most exhilarating experiences Vegas has to offer. Boulder city Airport now has the most exciting air rides available, Powered Hang Gliders over Hoover Dam!!! Wow

Such an amazing experience!!!! The instructors we had that day (MAT & BEN) are so knowledgeable, patient, and truly experts at what they do. I came in expecting to just shoot some guns but it ended up being much much more than that. They made sure we were all safe at all times and made it so enjoyable. I suggest you don’t skip out on the 50. Cal. It is something to definitely experience in your life. The helicopter shooting was out of my reality. It was so much fun to shoot at targets down below you. I’m speechless. Thank you so much for the experience we will definitely be back to shoot from the tank!!

Went up in their helicopter to shoot 300 rounds with the guys at Gunship Helicopters, it was a great time. They picked us up from the hotel and drove us out to the range. They made sure everyone had fun, safety was a big emphasis with them. Gave good instructions on firing the weapon, and setup a good range.

The best and craziest thing I have ever done in my life! I mean the many 5-star ratings show here that you cant come home without a smile, but the feeling with the MG in the helicopter is really indescribable! Since you can not do that anywhere else in the world I would definitely recommend the big package with video and 50Cal Sniper. The shotgun experience outside is also much better than on an normal shooting range. Also the free Shuttle is a very nice Car. I would like to write so much more, because Im so happy about the whole day, but it would be best if everyone experiences it by themself. The staff are incredibly nice, take time for you and help you with each question. The video that you can get afterwards is really good and a reminder forever. Many thanks to all the staff, this is really an experience that I will remember every day of my life. I will definitely come back someday to Vegas only for Gunshiphelicopters!

First time on a helicopter ride and it was epic! Such an AWESOME experience. The ride was smooth the machine gun was wickedly fun and the crew here are amazing and easy to talk to. It was such a great day for it and the trip out here was smooth. Definitely recommend the trip for anyone!

Best event ever. Harlan, Brad, and Matt were the best. We came for a corporate executive event and it did not disappoint. I was in the Army for 22 years, yet firing these weapons from the air at zombies was amazing fun and team building. Good for you for doing your research and reading reviews but I can tell you right now this is the experience of a lifetime and should not be missed.My boyfriend and I recently visited Las Vegas for a weekend and wanted to get off of the strip for an adventure. He is much more experienced with guns than I am but I was all about wanting to do a helicopter ride so it seemed like the perfect combo. Something that checked boxes for both of us.Upon meeting Ben at our pickup location we knew right away that we were in good hands. The trip from the strip to Sandy Valley is a quick 45 minutes and when we arrived at Gunships range we were greeted by Roland and Bradley. All three of them made us feel incredibly welcome, comfortable, and safe right off the bat.After signing our lives away (during which i was perusing the lovely merchandise they have in the office) and an informative briefing from the team, we headed to the range to shoot the Barrett before heading to the chopper. This was a dream come true for my boyfriend and after getting his 3 shots in ($20 per) he had a permanent smile on his face. I will say it put a huge smile on my face to watch him be in his element and get in to the zone with Ben and Roland.Next up we headed to the helicopter. Bradley (the pilot) informed us that in addition to shooting targets from the helicopter they were now offering the ability to fly to the top of the mountain after - THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED! Only $100 extra and it was worth every cent! I know all the extras can add up in a situation like this but I promise you after you will have the most incredible memory of your trip to Sandy Valley and a story that will make peoples jaws drop.The helicopter experience (for a couple that had never been on one before) was the highlight of our trip. As I mentioned before the team is incredibly knowledgeable and informative, so directions were clear and we felt safe from start to finish. Bradley and Ben took us up and although i know I am not an expert marks-woman they sure did make me feel like one! Then it was time for the mountain top - the most spectacular views with a little bit of a thrill! I am so glad that Bradley told us about this add on (which isnt advertised on the site yet) because that experience will stay with me forever. After landing I was wishing we could do it all over again.Thank you to Bradley, Ben, and Roland for the experience of a lifetime. They have plans to make Gunship Helicopters even more amazing than it already is with more add ons and experiences coming soon so we are looking forward to making the trip back when we are able.Additions I would recommend:- Ground shooting (price varies)- Video package ($100 - the final product is great, includes audio so you can hear your conversations while on the helicopter and also allows you to bring your phones on board for more personal photos)- Additional ammo for in-flight trip- $100 mountain top trip (NOT TO BE MISSED!)

What an incredible experience. Steven picked us up at the hotel right on time. Ben was our safety officer and taught us everything we need to know and Matt he pilot was excellent. There were many targets and the SAW was easy to shoot. This is a must do activity!!

Best experience in Las Vegas. Plus youre supporting a family owned business, and youre getting instructors and pilots that love what they do and are very good at it instead of some of the other similar attractions that just have semi trained employees running you through.

Wow what a blast! Went with my buddy Chad, weve been talking about this for awhile. The people at the helipad were knowledgeable and safety conscious without being annoying, the guns and helicopter were top of the line. We also shot the .50 BMG Barrett and the M-4 while we waited for the helicopter, super fun as well. You havent lived til youve heard the sound of a .50 round streaking out 550 meters and shattering on an APC!! Lighting the steel targets and old plane fuselages up with the SAW was epic too. I highly recommend getting the video, we did and it is fun to show people--multiple camera angles and great sound. Thanks again, guys! I will definitely get out there again!

Being a Canadian we dont have the luxury or opportunity to fly in a gunship helicopter or shoot restricted weapons with our laws. The chopper was exhilarating from the moment we took flight. Being able to sit in the door gunner position shooting from the fully automatic M249 SAW at ground targets while in flight to the feeling when the pilot banks (Turns) from left to right with the chopper almost on its side is amazing, electrifying...You can request this type of ride or a more Conservative ride without the aggressive turns for your comfort.Also, having a huge selection Hand guns, Assault rifles and Sniper rifles allowed my wife and I to enjoy the ground shooting. My favorite was the 50 caliber Barrett Sniper which brought back my youth and made me feel like I was playing live Call of Duty !!!The staff were great, laid back but made sure everything was safe. My wife had never shot and she was so nervous. After a few minutes she couldnt get enough and the staff gave her the confidence needed to enjoy the experience.The door gunner chopper experience was recorded and they provided a copy of the video on a USB stick for us to relive and share the experience with others. This is one day Ill remember until my last day.Thank you Gunship Helicopters ;)

Amazing, helpful, and friendly staff. You can pay via credit out in the desert and can opt for more ammo mid-flight.Definitely recommend coming out in a truck or SUV as the last few miles to the location is unpaved rocky road.

Great ride...they take you up in a helicopter that has a mounted machine gun at the door and fly over a target area to see if you can hit the targets they set up. Just like a door gunner in the military, you see how hard it is to hit a moving target from the air, but what a rush when it happens. Thrills beyond comprehension.....highly recommended for the adrenilan junkie!

If you want the air blowing through your hair while you shoot some rounds from an M249 at targets from a chopper, this is the place to be. This was an awesome and amazing experience! The range operators were a great group of guys and did everything they could to make it the best time possible. I was also lucky enough and extremely honored to be apart of some history today. I had the opportunity to sit in a restored Sherman tank from Iwo Jima and witness the cannon being fired for the first time since its glory days. Im definitely coming back in early 2020 to fire the M34 mini gun in the air! Thank you again for giving me an experience I will talk about for years to come!

Me and my father went out to gunship helicopter and it was the coolest shooting experience I’ve ever had. We didn’t even have to go through an extensive process to get there we didn’t even make a reservation we just saw the booth at battlefield Las Vegas and said let’s do that. One of the employees drove us over himself and within the hour we had peppered the side of the hill in machine gun fire while they played Jimi Hendrix through the headset. All the guys who worked there where super nice and super professional. Had a great time if you see it and are interested just go for it you won’t regret it
