Want to walk down a tree covered walk way feeling the breeze go and walk threw it holding your loved ones hands or simply a jog.Your children may want to play on the playground (not yet built) even through you have to say no their frowns will be turned upside down by the gaint sand box.So bring you splash pad gear,shovel,castle bucket and baseball to enjoy this wonderful park that will make your day bright and colorful.

Nice park with a confusing layout. Some construction to be aware of and one set of bathrooms were closed. The open ones were well maintained and equipped.

I went here because l needed some peace. Its quiet an peaceful you can think clearly.

I am looking for a place for our youth event and it is perfect. Plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible to the table area. Clean and seems family friendly I cant wait.

Disclaimer: my experience my differ from others mainly because of the virus. Can’t really say this is exactly how this park will always be and it probably will be different a ways out from now.I went to this park to meet a friend. It went fantastically. Nice little park to go to. There wasn’t very many people around and was pretty empty (thus my disclaimer). The bathrooms were awful but what park has neat bathrooms anyway? Definitely not the worst bathrooms but pretty bad. In fact my biggest complaint is the bathrooms do not have sinks or I’m just blind. What bathroom doesn’t have a sink? They are the reason this place doesn’t deserve a full five stars. Close though but need to work up those bathrooms. My favorite park was the little trails around the park and the bridge was cool. I love bridges but also hate them so excuse my bias. Overall nice quiet experience and would go again. Just those bathrooms are awful.

Its a nice park with a small walking trail and lots of trees for shade but a lot of homeless people. I have come here when im working and my off days and they never bother me. It even has shaded parking.

We played a baseball tournament here. Overall, the place needed a lot of love and upkeep. Looks like they are adding a bunch to the playground/center area of the park...maybe even a splash pad. Clean up the park, manicure the grass and IF, refurb the batting cage, and then it will be prime.

I wish I found this park sooner. I’ve been going to firefighters memorial park for years and rainbow park has much more shade, it’s very quiet and nostalgic. Beautiful view of the sky and a bridge for great picture opportunity

This park is usually a little more crowded than i prefer but overall a nice park. Its probably great for kids with the jungle gyms, water feature and baseball diamonds.

A great place to take the whole family, including the dogs. Lots of exercises options. A nice walking trail ball diamonds, exercises station training, a playground with splash pad and lots of grass to roll in. Plus it is mask free who could ask for more than that.

I enjoy going to this particular park. The shade from the trees keep you much cooler, as opposed to the other parks. Its large enough to accommodate more people. Everyone isnt bumping into one another.

Great get away into the valley. Exercise circuit, bbq, restrooms, shade.

This is a beautiful park. However, my son just brought me a chew toy with a rusted nail shoved through it. Please beware that someone visiting this park wants to hurt your pets. I took photos of it and then placed it in the trash can. I am leaving this review so others will know to keep an extra close eye on what their pets decide to chew on.

Nice clean well taking care of. Chill spot to take your pups at night to the baseball fields and play. YEP WE PICK UP THERE

Used to be a quiet, nice park. Apparently has become a spot for people to throw parties, there is a small workout area as well. There is also a kids small splash area to play in by the playground.

This park in West Las Vegas, just North of Sahara on Oakey, has awesome features, with even cooler landscaping. Mature trees and a pleasant walking path that meanders through them offer a very different experience from most Vegas parks.

Nice clean park with lots of shade, and picnic area and playgraound for the kids.

Our fam likes this park a lot, we had our daughters 4th Birthday party here. Theres a good amount of shade, ample parking, a fenced in splash pad, a small play structure sits in a shaded sand pit. There are restroom facilities and baseball fields with bright night lighting. A large stretch of grass and even a walking trail makes for some good stroller cruisin! Id say a highlight to this park is the large concrete snake kids can walk along next to the playground!

Great park to bring the kids it has barbeque grills, slides, swings and it has sand. It has plenty of room for big gatherings like birthday parties. Plenty of benches and tables for the adults to sit and watch their children play

Gorgeous and clean park. It can get crowded in the evenings. Nice fitness area and plenty of walking paths.

My favorite park in Des Moines Ive been to others and never found any that compare to this one. You can definitely spend a few hours here. They have a bathroom that is always kept clean water fountains grills and picnic tables also trails very nice trails it definitely is an all in one park.

This is such a beautiful park to spend the day with the family! I love that it is surrounded by a lot of trees which releases a cold and refreshing breeze! The Rainbow Family park is clean and well maintained! The best part is that it has a barbecue area that can be used by the visitors! The kids enjoyed the wide grass area where they were able to play soccer while we, the adults, cooked and prepared food. We will be back here on our next family picnic! I will also recommend this place to my friends.

This park is not only super clean, but its seems to be in a very safe location between some of the nicest homes in the Rainbow area. They also have a daily baseball game with a bunch of kids teams. The the hamburger and cold pickles are actually really good.

Very nice park. Rolling hills nice grass baseball diamonds and play areas for younger kids, including water areas. Very clean and well kept with barbecue areas as well. You used to bring my son here when he was very small, and we still occasionally picnic here now that hes big.

The only park I take my family too which is close to home . Its safe and very clean. Beautiful with all the trees and fields of grass. Has a park along with a work out area to do calisthenics, as well as big full base ball fields. Surrounded by mansion homes so you know its the safe area lol

Clean and safe, with great open areas and baseball diamonds. Lots of bleachers to work out on. While I was there, I saw seniors, people walking their pups, runners and walkers.

Visited the park whilst playing Pokémon GO. It appeared nicely maintained with spaces dedicated to a variety of activities. I visted on a weekend. Quite a few people were around, but not overly crowded.

Nice older local park off the beaten path. Spacious areas rolling hills and bathrooms Bbq Areas but big parties must reserve. Only problem Pigeons at Bbq area is a problem be prepared and bring table cloth and or cleaning supplies nice big Bbq pit and smaller ones. Exercise course and a walking/ Jogging path very spacious.
