Its as perfect as a park can get in Las Vegas. Worth the $6 fee to get in, but Id rather not have to pay to go into a public space; our tax dollars should cover that expense. Whats next an entry fee for a public library? There are several small ponds, and one big pond. All of which have fish. The trees look healthy, the grass is green and everything is clean and well maintained.I highly recommend this park for family walks and picnics.
A charming park with lots of wildlife and walking paths. Youll see ducks, swans, peacocks and lots more. Its also a great place to bike, fish and camp out. There is a stable too but I dont know if its open to the public. My one gripe is that there is a $5.00 fee to enter. If youre willing to walk a bit (less than one mile) you can park down by the Tule Springs Loop Trail and get in for free.
Beautiful park, tons of ducks and peacocks to feed. Lake is great for casual fishing, not going to get a 24 inch trout.. but maybe a tiny lil guy. Has a good jogging trail and tons of picnic spots. Lots of in memory of stones and locations, you can feel the love and memories in the air. Great place to relax.
Beautiful park! Definitely a perfect spot for pictures. Since we couldnt have a normal graduation ceremony for my little sister we decided to take pictures of her here in her cap and gown. And it was a perfect place. There beautiful peacocks everywhere and ducks. Its only $6 per car and is definitely worth it!
We went to Floyd Lamb Park for a family photo session. This is one of the few places in Las Vegas where you can actually get a feeling that there is more then one season. Plus all the historic buildings and scenery make for great photo backdrops.
Our favorite park in Centennial Hills, and we are so excited they are renovating the barn for events! The peacocks and the trails are a trip and makes for a lovely scenic walk or ride to totally transport you out of LV!
(6$ entry fee) A beautiful green getaway in the desert. The lakes and trees keep the area cooler than in the city. Fishing is allowed with some regulations. Lots of picnic benches, barbecues, and shade. Theres grass and great paths throughout the park. A great place to take pictures is the first parking lot on the right when you enter. Continue further down to see the lakes.
Its a away to get away from the city in the city. They got all kinds of birds and fishing here. Really relaxing place for a family for the day. The peacocks are super awesome also
Very nice park! Lots of trees and shade, numerous picnic benches for a nice lunch, paved walking path all the way around the park for walking or pushing a stroller, several restrooms available, and the lakes are very nice and available for fishing. A+
A great park. We come for the urban wildlife, including rabbits, peacocks, ducks, geese, turtles and roadrunners. We also enjoy the fishing occasionally.
Beautiful and peaceful place. YoU can bbq and have a picnic. You can fish, play volleyball and/or horse shoe. You can ride mountain bikes on the sand hills. Its a great place. You can take your dog as long as theyre on a leash.
Floyd Lamb Park is a beautiful oasis in the desert. Great for fishing, family picnics or just a peaceful walk. Its pet friendly and has clean restrooms. Lots of ducks and geese.
Such a devine retreat from the everyday push and pull of the city life. This park is perfect for walking with loved ones, reading a book under the shade of a tree, feeding ducks in the pond, taking pictures with friends or loved ones or to simply catch ones breath. If you need a break from whatever your norm may be? May I suggest this wonderful park.
It was a beautiful park. I went fishing but no bites or nibbled. Plenty ducks and geese there, I was looking forward to catch & release some fish but no luck I think they have five lakes in the park. But what do the fish eat there? I tried a few things with no result. But over all great place for family time & pictures, dog walks.
Best place for anyone of any age on any bicycle at any skill-level. The park is beautiful too.Bring your fishin-pole also!
Very nice big park 2,062 acre park w 3 big ponds to fish. Better in the fall when they stock the fish. Big grass areas to play football soccer or badminton. even walk around on sidewalks around the park and. Bike ride or just walk the doggies. Suited for BBQ in the shade or reserve tables for big partys. They have group area tables also w 1 BBQ pits available all by the tables. Or just tables to just sit and have lunch. Parks closes at 8pm
Love bringing the kids and dog here. Always a blast feeding the ducks!
This is a lovely park with a pond and many birds. It does cost $6.00 to get in but there are discounts available.
Not what i expected.. to be a city park and to charge $6 per vehicle they can work on it alot! Specially the cleanliness of the actual park itself. Redo the walk way through the park and need alot of tlc.
I love this place. Idk what the big peacocks name is, but I named him Ralf. If anyone knows the big peacocks name.. Id like to know, thanks.
A gorgeous location for a calming day out. Bring food, drinks, friends, and the fishing poles and come out and enjoy yourself, this quarantine. Not many people with masks, so bring one. But easy enough to stay 6 feet away from them. Also, beware that some people must be unaware of the coronavirus and will attempt to walk right next to you with no mask on.
This is a wonderfully relaxing park. It has a pond surrounded by cottonwoods and wonderful huge mulberry trees to picnic under. There are restrooms, tables, and grills and dont forget some bread for the fifteen BILLION Geese that live here (and some peacocks but I didnt see them.)There is also plenty of hiking trails.Highly recommended!
The landscape is beautiful. They have all types of birds just roaming around. I have grilled put multiple times. Dogs are welcome as long as you clean up after them.
Great place to bring the kids & pets for a walkJust wish they had better sanitized bathrooms
Im not sure why people give this park such good ratings. Its very ghetto and not very useful. There is hardly any garbage cans especially where they need to be. The bathrooms were dirty and had no soap. A lot of areas of park are dead grass and just look abused and torn up. You can tell they dont care about maintaining it. I could understand if it was a free park but to pay 6 dollars dont waste your gas driving to it when you can just go to your local free park and get all the immunities you need.
I love this park. There are grills and covered areas if you want to spend the day grilling with the fam, a lake with ducks, an area with peacocks & geese, we even seen bunnies there too. Lots of shade and walkways & the park itself huge! Highly recommended
Great place for families. Kids were fishing with their grandpas, and chasing geese.
I love this park! I enjoy being able to have the peacocks in the area. Many people come here for pictures. Thus, many photo shoots can happen here. But its a great area to be and ly down in the grass. Perfect to watch sunsets and stargaze. Its also wonderful to have a picnic at as there are picnic areas. I would however, prefer that the land was flat because in many sections of the park are there wholes or big chunks of dirt piled up so playing soccer or volleyball or maybe another sport will be kinda complex - youll need to be carefull.
A great place to hang out, walk around. Bear in mind though. This is a very popular place and if you want some place silent to enjoy nature this is probably not the place for you.
10/25/2020Lovely day, lots of people, beautiful park. Thanks to all employees for keeping this place clean
Great fishing! My kids first time fishing and caught 7 Blue Gill and 2 Bass. I couldnt even get my pole in the water because they were slaying and needed help. Peaceful too with good shade
Its a beautiful, historic park. I love it because it has a lake, ducks walking freely, open spaces, green grass, huge trees to climb, picnic tables, bbq grills, and more. Unfortunately, the restrooms and trash are not well maintained. Im talking dead rats on the grass, giant spiders in the restrooms, and potholes throughout the grass. Playing kickball with the family was like dodging landmines. Its about $6 per car to enter; Id gladly pay double to have clean, safe facilities.
Very big park. Spacious so people dont feel like theyre on top of each other. Lots of tables with grills nearby. Four different lakes to fish in. Walking trail. Information boards all over the park so you can learn the history. Beautiful wild animals. Pet friendly.
Place is absolutely wrecked with trash, the pigeon area is a disgrace as there are about a hundred dead birds... In those old c o u p s. I love this park, I dont know why they dont keep it up ...why is there so much plastic in every pond?? The people that use it frequently . are not respecting it!!! Looks like theres some other activity going on out there as well?!?
Park is beautiful. Geese, ducks peacocks. My only issue are the people that show up and leave their trash. I spent time walk and enjoying my time while cleaning up after people.CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES!
Not a bad place to fish or a picnic, there is a $6 entrance fee, it hold 5 different parking spaces with spaces 2-4 been near the lakes/ponds, lots of folks taking family pictures in the afternoon,
Awesome place for kids to play and some lazy fishing. You are not going to catch a lot but its fun. $6 entrance fee is cool. Nice place close to the city.
Its beautiful out there. We just love the beautiful scenery and all the ducks, bunnies and peacocks and just the history of the place is very cool!!
This park is unkempt. We had a nice time seeing the ponds, peacocks, ducks, swans, and geese so Ill give it 2 stars. We were disappointed at the amount of trash we saw. Guests left rubber gloves on floor, a dirty diaper in a parking space, and empty drink containers everywhere. You pay a $6 fee per car. I remember comimg here as a child and feel like it was cleaner and more maintained then (15+ years ago). The buildings appeared to be older and deteriorating. The restroom sink did not have a soap dispenser and there were no sanitizing stations in the midst on this COVID pandemic!
Beautiful place! Tons of ducks and geese. Theres lakes, bridges, old buildings, and plenty of trails. Great place for picnics, small fishing, and family photos. The best part, in my opinion, would be the peacocks! Theyre gorgeous and they get incredibly close if youre patient. Ill be coming back another day!
Area 4 best spot. Great view. Great sunset on the water.
I live close by and this is just my 3rd visit, I should come more often because I really enjoyed my walk around the park
One of the gems of Las Vegas that has nothing to do with lights, gambling or glitter. A gorgeous historical site which features a ranch and an archeological dig site. There is a nice paved path for walking or running. People fish in the 4 different ponds. Dogs are welcome but beware of the hundreds of geese that live there! The park is also home to a flock of peacocks. There are picnic areas and some very nice views. If you need a break from the Strip, or are looking for a place to go for a run, I’d highly recommend!
Critters to feed and fishys to fish. Shady trees that have shade underneath. And duckys with orange feet. What more do you need? Oh dont forget the 6 dollar fee.
Beautiful views, lovely walking paths, dog friendly! You can also fish here...dont know if the fishing is any good though. Beautiful peacocks roam free. This place is simply an interesting slice of history.
Beautiful little escape from the city! History is preserved in this lil oasis in the desert, which also provides habitat for some beautiful peacocks, many geese and ducks (lots of baby ducks to be seen in the spring time) and fish are stocked in the lakes for some family fishing fun! (3 fish limit) It is a 6 dollar fee per carload, which is well worth it to preserve this beautiful park. They also hold some fun events and host a farmers market, once or twice a month I believe.
A beautiful, family and dog friendly park that takes you out of the desert. They allow fishing (i.e. trout) with a permit/license from NV. You can walk/bike/jog in for free. Cars are $6 and they have a 6 month membership for $25 and a year long for $50. You cant use National Park membership because its a city park. Great place for bird watching. There are covered and shaded picnic tables. I did not see grills. Clean park, but be careful with the bird poop. There is a National Monument at the outskirts of the park.
Floyd Lamb Park is a great escape from the city. The bike trails are great for beginner cross country riding and if taken slow are appropriate for the whole family.
The park was dirty and not well kept. They also claim to have fish in their ponds but they are empty, dirty, and arent stocked regularly. The only good aspects of the park were the grass and the barbecue areas.
Love it. Wish didnt have to pay so much tho
This place is absolutely LOVELY for bike rides, strolls, jogs, and fishing! Theres plenty of areas for picnics and barbecues as well. Definitely family friendly, but its best when its not overly crowded.
Awesome park. Used to be a vacation destination in the early 1900s and the original buildings are still there. Beautiful peacocks everywhere and helps set the atmosphere
Floyd Lamb park is a beautiful setting that we utilized for our family photos.Unfortunately, after the photo shoot, my seven year old son was looking at a Peacock nearby. Suddenly, the bird pecked a hole in his cheek. This was followed by a visit to the local ER.One of the groundskeepers later said it’s mating season and they tend to be more aggressive.Grateful that the bird didn’t peck his eye.A warning to future park visitors to keep children at distance from the Peacocks.
We really enjoy coming to this park! It’s such a great place go on walks & enjoy the scenery!
Wonderful place to visit, especially in the morning hours. I enjoy walking my dogs here, fishing, and watching the many birds. Its a very relaxing place, filled with trees, which is always nice to see in the desert.
Great place for fishing, plenty of picnic tables and some BBQ. 4 ponds to fish and nice trail for walks around .
What a wonderful oasis! Plenty of open space to distance but still enjoy the outdoors!
Just a really beautiful park and pond! The wildlife is abundant and the place is really clean, grassy, shady and perfect for walks or picnics or relaxing.
My family loves this park. A cute place to make you feel like your out of the city. The trails are maintained well. Just be aware of the sprinklers we got soaked during a picnic. I didn’t see any signed regarding times they go off. We love coming to this park for the events and farmers market.
This is a nice family friendly place if you would like your children to get in touch with nature. You will be welcomed by peacocks. they have a lot of geese and other animals. The sunset at the lake is beautiful; you can also do fishing. I cant say they have maximized their resources in making the place even more attractive but it is a good place to break away from the city environment.
Always a nice place to walk with the grand kids. Especially since they cleaned up all the Rabbits and Geese.. ;)
The most beautiful oasis in our city. You dont even feel like youre in the desert, yet it is in our backyard. So many trees, ponds, birds, bunnies, and peacocks!!And the staff is always extremely kind and helpful!
A very peaceful place to enjoy a day out with the family or on your own. There is plenty of shade throughout the park where it would be enjoyable even on a hot summer day. Lots of friendly animals (ducks, geese, peacocks) around the many ponds. This place truly is stunning!
Very cool and quiet. Great place to relax, have a picnic, ride a bicycle whatever. Also beautiful birds, including ducks, geese, and peacocks.
Great place to get a change of scenery. There are small ponds, geese, roadrunners, and bunnies. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy.
This park was amazing to take anyone too. The setting is absolutely beautiful and a nice place to retreat. Was informed but the guards more information about the park. Plan a trip or go to walk it’s worth the time.
Great place for anyone. Peacocks walking around, bunnies bouncing around, and a lot of acres to walk around in. BMX course, ponds you can fish at, picnic tables with trees providing shade in certain areas. If you walk in, its free, parking is under $10. Enjoy!
This place is a very Romantic park, after the sunset, get your blankets and lights it can get cold and very dark, the ducks can still be seen under the bushes near the lake, the skys are lit with the stars and the moon, and maybe a UFO are two if you know what i mean .Lol, Also the grill was lit food was made, and the heated grill left as a heater, It was like a camping trip enviorment.
Very beautiful and peaceful. Great place to social distance and enjoy nature
Really cool place to go spend some outdoor time in Vegas.
Love this park. Our New York Central Park, out west.
I loved it, i always enjoy this park when i go with my family. Such beautiful scenery and amazing animals to look at. The trails are great as well i plan on going many more times this year .
As a person with severe anxiety I really enjoy this place. The park makes you feel like you are not in Las Vegas and everything is open and lots of room to roam around without people close by. They have a couple beautiful lakes in which you can fish and see plenty of ducks, some gooses and geese. Another part of the park is historic with peacocks running around...tons of them. I always try to come to this place in the fall and spring time, well anytime that is not summer. This place has lots of shade with tons of trees to provide cover.
Awesome place to enjoy the outdoors by yourself or with family and still keep social distance. You can chill by the lake or take your bike and use the trails.
Relaxation and beauty in nature! Floyd Lamb Park at Tule SpringsA City of Las Vegas OasisOver 2000 acres include natural desert areas as well as grassy old trees cover lawns surrounding four small lakes . Desert wildlife and vegetation can be found throughout the park - ducks, geese, peacocks, coots and little rabbits !
First time at the park, took 40 minutes to get here from South Las Vegas. But, the park is definitely worth it.
By far one of the best parks in Vegas if you want to fish and just relax the whole day.
I love this park for long walks its awsome to see soo much nature big trees and lay on the grass dont forget your blanket.
Within Las Vegas Urban setting Floyd Lamb Park is the best outdoor experience for someone who likes pick the game or fishing but cannot afford the out-of-town experience
Always a great time. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Now I bring my kids. Only real suggestion, is get a canoe and clean the garbage around the edges. To many plastic bottles and bags. I picked up alot of old fishing line and threw it away. Teaching my kids the right way.
Great family park. Plenty of parking.. An abundance of animal feces was the only complaint. Great way to spend a day enjoying the outdoors. A lot of mature trees provide plenty of shade during the day.
Had a blast at the fishing derby! The girls got free fishing poles and even had lunch with peacocks. This park is my families favorite if you want a quick bbq and family time this is the place!
I have been living in Las Vegas for 2 years, and I had only recently visited Floyd Lamb Park. This place is undoubtedly beautiful. Its a lovely, cute place that helps you enjoy the tree side of nature, here in Nevada, without driving all the way to Mt. Charleston. Its a great place to clear you head, read a book, go for a stroll, bird watch or even to have a nice little picnic with friends and family. Its small, so dont expect too much, but what is there is lovely.
One beautiful place in the middle of a desert and a little bit a duck shi.. but the rest is great
Love this park and love that you are allowed to fish!
Nice park 3 little ponds a lot of trails plenty of parking. Great place for a family day out. But u do have to pay to enter.
This is a pretty nice park to take the kids and do some fishing. For the most part, the place is pretty clean but some of the tables and benches are dirty from the geese. Not bad for the $6 entrance fee.
Nice to walk around and feed the ducks.
This was our first visit on Easter Sunday 2019.We saw a full park and we liked that. The area is big and lots of wild life. The paved parking spaces were all taken as well as the 2 front dirt big lots. We parked in the back, pass the 4 ponds. This gave us a chance to walk and get to know the place. There is a lot of room for improvement. Here is my list of things tgat need attention.1. Please add toilet paper hourly in all toilet stalls on busy holidays.2. Add soap dispensers in the restrooms.3. Cut down your weeds.4. Add trash cans, I saw only 6 trash cans.5. Clean the garbage out of the ponds (plates, empty containers, clothes, broken umbrellas, fishing lines, plastic bags and more).6. You might want to add more paved parking.7. Add rangers or security. Someone is needed to supervise.
RELAXING PLACE, GREAT WALK JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE GEESE AND PEECOCKS
This place is a bird watchers paradise. Nice picnic areas, great place to take family photos.
This is my favorite place in the Northwest. Its free to cycle in, and the trails are paved and gorgeous. There is fishing and tons of waterfowl. It doesnt look like Vegas. It is very green and lovely.
Nice and relaxing place for various activities. Kids love it
Wonderful park that makes you forget you are in Las Vegas. Lots of grass, ducks, geese, ponds. Paved trails to ride bikes or push strollers. There are some awesome dirt paths around the outskirts of the park that are lots of fun to ride or walk around.
People are not waiting masks or social distance. Also, some people do not leave the birds alone, especially the peacocks, scarring them so much.
The park is nice but needs to be stocked more often nobody catching any thing and I mean nobody
